(Bob and Bart Crowmeowme have arrived in Panorama City. While Bob is at Shiba House, talking to Ji and Jayden, Bart is looking at the sites of the last battles against the Nghlok.)
Bart (thinking): They've done a swift job rebuilding the city. DAMPS showed me some footage of the battle, and the flooding. Hmm, what's this?
(Bart picks an object off the ground.)
Bart: Looks like a damaged Morpher, of some sorts. With all the scientific geniuses back in Gray Lake, it should be easy to repair.I'm sure whoever used it might like it back.

(Far from Panorama City, Jake is looking at the contents of a large package he received a day earlier.)
Lauren: What's all this?
Jake: I asked Matt's grandfather to translate some scrolls for me. This is everything he was able to do.
Lauren: What are they?
Jake: History of the Ying clan. According to the scrolls, my ancestors came from the province of Iga, which was known as the home of many great ninja clans. they left shortly before Iga came under siege by the warlord Oda Nobunaga. It wasn't too long after that that one of my ancestors began training two gaijin, or non-Japanese, students, and that is when the curse began. Of course, now that we know the curse was actually because of a Nighlok, which Matt and I defeated, the timing might just be coincidental.
Lauren: Probably.
Jake: There's also a few ancient secrets. Recipes for food pills, made from various odorless foods, compressed into small, travel sized doses.
Lauren: Odorless?
Jake: In the past, a Ninja ate a strict diet of odorless foods, so as not to alert an enemy by scent. Thankfully, that was abandoned within the past few hundred years.

(Jake has spent several hours by the computer, with one eye on the news. Lauren walks in to check on him.)
Lauren: Anything?
Jake: Yeah, just a minute ago. Uncle John emailed me. He and Grandma were at the farm all day. They didn't drive into Boston, like they've done in years past. They had a sick cow to take care of.
Lauren: You must be relieved they're safe.
Jake: Yeah. I can stop worrying now.
(Jake kisses Lauren.)

(At various locations, including Shiba House, Antonio's cabin on his cruise and Jake and Lauren's home, envelopes appear, color coded for each of the Samurai and Sasuke Rangers. Each envelope contains the same item, an invitation to move to Gray Lake.)

Doce: Master, should I go.
Steel: That is your decision, not mine. You can still train samurai there, in private.
Doce: I do not know if the others will join the city.
Steel: Then wait. If they go, you may go.

(At least two members of the team are definitely considering the move.)
Lauren: What do you think?
Jake: I haven't really had time to get settled in here. And that would be a chance to have a place that's all ours, not just the place where you were raised.
Lauren: Do you think the others will move there as well?
Jake: I doubt Ji will go. Like he said, Shiba House needs to be ready for the eventuality that the Nighlok return, and a new generation of Samurai Rangers are needed. I cant be sure about Jayden. Antonio will wait to decide until he's done with his cruise, while Mia will decide after she's done at the culinary academy. Emily, she wants to take care of her sister, so she and Mike probably wont be there. Kevin could go either way. I'm not sure about Matt and Doce. But if Matt goes, I'm sure his Grandfather and Mariko will be there as well.
