Kendall: Happy Father's Day.
Ace: My first one.
Kendall: Hold Teddy so I can bring in your breakfast.
Ace: Sure.
(Kendall kisses Ace as she hands him Teddy.)
Ace: Hey buddy. How are you? Sleeping through the night now, so that's good.
(Teddy just blows a spit bubble.)
Ace: You'll start talking soon.

(The Fourth of July. Ace is barbecuing, enough for all the former Rangers still on Earth or in the present, save for Prince Phillip. Kendall comes outside carrying Teddy.)
Kendall: Arnie, listen to this. Teddy, who am I?
Teddy: Mama.
Ace: I told him on Father's Day he would start talking soon. And when he leans more words, he'll be just as smart as his mother.
Kendall: Maybe he'll use that brain and design a video game. The best of both of us.
Ace: Or wrote a comic book, that gets turned into a movie.
(Shelby arrives.)
Shelby: Hey guys.
Ace; Hey Shelb. Teddy just said his first word.
Shelby: He did? That's so cool.
Ace: Teddy, tell Aunt Shelby who's holding you.
Teddy: Mama.
Shelby: That's so cute.

Kendall: Good morning.
Ace: Happy birthday, babe.
Kendall: Thanks, Arnie.

Ace: Teddy already gave us both a present. He slept through the night.
Kendall: He did. Took him long enough.
Ace: Faster than I was. Mom said I didnt start sleeping through the night until after my first birthday. More proof he's inherited your genius.
Kendall: I wont argue with you on that.

(Saturday morning. Ace is giving Teddy his breakfast.)
Ace: Here comes the tupandactyl. Open the cave.
(Teddy opens his mouth, Ace puts a spoonful of food in his mouth.)
Ace: That's Daddy's good boy.
(Kendall comes in, dressed for work.)
Ace: Too bad you have to go into work today. We had such big plans.
Kendall: I know. At least I was off last Sunday for Teddy's first borthday.
Ace: Yeah.
Kendall: Both of my boys better be good today.
Ace: Dont worry. Ive got that new Mafia Definitive Edition I've been wanting to crack open. I wont be getting into any real worl trouble. And Teddy, he's got the easy life.
Teddy: Mama.
Kendall: I know. I'll be home by one.
(Kendall kisses Teddy on the forehead, then kisses Ace on the lips.)
Ace: I'll have lunch ready for you.
Kendall: Sounds great. Have fun.

Ace: Happy engagement anniversary.
Kendall: That was the best surprise I ever got.

Ace: Teddy's awake.
Kendall: Be glad he's still in a crib. If not he could have just walked in on us.
