(OOC: A thread just for PR alternate realities..)

(At Tim and Kira's apartment, the newlyweds are getting ready for company.)

Kira: OK, I've made sure we've got plenty of ice, and the bowls are filled with chips.
Tim: They should be bringing the drinks, right?
Kira: Yeah.

(There's a knock at the door.)

Kira: Sounds like someone's here.
Tim: I'll get it.

(Tim goes to the door. Kitty is standing there, in a pretty new dress. Bruce is still approaching from the elevator.)

Tim: Hey Kitty. Come on in. That's a pretty dress you're wearing.
Kitty: Thank you. Mommy bought it for me yesterday.
Bruce: Hey Tim. Cass is having a spa day with Kim and Ashley. She just couldn't say no to a day of pampering.
Tim: Conner and the others should be coming. At least they were when I talked to them.
Bruce: Yeah. Conner called me. Said as soon as Krista finished changing CJ's diaper, they would be leaving.
Tim: Let's get on inside.
Bruce: Yeah.

(Bruce goes inside. As he does, the elevator opens. Devin and Ethan walk out, each carrying a handheld gaming unit.)

Ethan: Ha. Take that.
Devin: Oh, I can take a lot more than you can.

(Tim gets ready to close the door when he hears Devin and Ethan. He instead comes outside.)

Tim: What are you two playing? Never mind, I don't think I want to know. Just come on.
Ethan: I think I saw Conner's car pulling up when we got in the elevator. Which is when Devin took half my energy.
Tim: You know, if you two weren't playing a video game right now, that could be interpreted in a completely different way.
Devin: Well, I bought these for me and Ethan when Bruce gave me a raise at the station. This is the first chance we've had to go head to head.
Tim: Right.. Well, you go on inside. I guess I should go out and help Conner. He was supposed to be bringing the drinks.
Ethan: Yeah. If he remembered. Krista probably reminded him, though.
Tim: Hopefully, because I doubt everyone wants to wait until we can go back out and get drinks.
Devin: Yeah.

(Devin and Ethan go inside. Tim heads for the elevator. A bit later, Tim arrives outside.)

Conner: Hey dude.

(Conner is helping get CJ into his stroller. And CJ isn't cooperating.)

Krista: He's cranky because he's teething.
Tim: Please tell me you guys brought the drinks.
Conner: Yeah. Six different types. Even grabbed some of those juice boxes Kitty likes.
Tim: Cool.

(A large shadow is cast over Tim. A familiar, almost reptilian shadow. Tim turns where the shadow is coming from. Trent is standing there, with Saurian.)

Trent: Hey. Dad's having some business associates over at the house, so he needed Saurian out. Hope you guys don't mind that he came along.
Saurian: Aw. Cute baby.
Tim: Of course not. Hey Saurian. It's been awhile.
Saurian: Hello.
Trent: He's gotten smarter since then. Which helps him control his strength. We'll go ahead and take the stairs.
Tim: Alright.

(Trent and Saurian head up using the stairs, as Conner finally gets CJ into his stroller.)

Conner: There. Now, I can get the drinks out of the trunk.
Tim: I'll help you bring them in.
Conner: Thanks, bro. Looks like we'd better hurry. The last time I saw clouds gather like this, we had to fight a monster we thought we destroyed.

(Soon after, the former Dino Thunder Rangers and friends are in the apartment.)

Ethan: So, are we gonna watch another alternate reality? Or just see what's on the conventional channels?
Bruce: The best program isn't on for a few hours. And I'm not saying that because I'm the producer and married to the lead anchor. OK, maybe I am.
Tim: Well, we agreed that if we started doing this that we'd be watching alternate realities. We can watch normal TV anytime.
Ethan: Well, some people here can watch alternate realities anytime, too.
Bruce: Yeah, but Cass and I save that for special occasions.
Tim: I was talking more along the lines with you guys. The ones that don't have these kind of TVs.
Conner: Not that Bruce couldn't get us some, if he wanted to.
Bruce: Well, yeah, but we still don't know if there's any bugs in Tim and Kira's. After they've watched a few realities with no problems, they could be made commercially available.
Ethan: Right now, Id settle for one of those new 3D TVs.
Tim: Anyway, considering that we're all pretty much here, let's start the alternate reality watching.
Kira: Yeah.

(Bruce sits down. Kitty gets on his lap and starts drinking from a juice box. Kira starts the viewer. It shows the first day of school back at Reefside High. Specifically, first period science class.)

Kitty (v/o): Mommy.
Bruce (v/o): This is the day I first saw her. And I knew I was in love with her. Even if we didn't have a perfect start.

(Like the previous reality, there's no Tim.)

Conner (v/o): Looks like you aren't in this one again, dude.
Krista (v/o): I don't see you there, either.
Conner (v/o): I was out on the soccer field that day. Which is why Randall gave me detention, which led to me becoming a Ranger.
Tim: (v/o) Technically, I didn't start school with you guys until a day or so after this, if I remember right. So I could still be there.
Kira (v/o): I'll skip ahead.

(Kira fast forwards, showing her, Conner and Ethan becoming Rangers, and Mesogog luring Bruce into becoming the Silver Ranger. Kira slows down on the mission to rescue Tommy.)

Kira (v/o): Still no Tim. Another reality without my favorite Ranger.
Tim: (v/o) I could still be there, just not a Ranger.
Kira (v/o): Yeah.

(As Conner, Kira and Ethan enter Mesogog's fortress, the Silver Ranger ambushes them, attacking them viciously.)

Bruce (v/o): I may not remember much about what I did while working for Mesogog, but I don't remember doing that.
Ethan (v/o): You didn't.
Tim: (v/o) Let's be quiet, and see what happens.
Conner: Dude, why are you fighting us? We're all Rangers here.
Bruce (altered voice): Mesogog has promised to help me gain that which I desire most.
Kira: What? A voice coach?
Bruce (altered): No.

(Bruce removes his helmet.)

Bruce: To know who I am. And to win Cassidy's heart.
Conner: No way. Bruce?
Bruce: Yes way, "bro".

(Bruce kicks Conner, knocking him across the corridor.)

Tim: (v/o) You stopped fighting us when you realized you were fighting your friends. Must be a stronger hold in that reality.
Bruce (v/o): Obviously.

(Conner gets back up and attacks Bruce, allowing Kira and Ethan to help Tommy, who still becomes the Black Ranger. Kira skips ahead some more, to meeting Kylee at the mall.)

Conner (whispered): Watch out, Kira. I just saw Bruce nearby.

(Kira nods. After Cassidy and Devin interview Kylee, Bruce walks over to her.)

Bruce: Cassidy, right?
Cassidy: Yes. You're in Dr Oliver's class with me.
Bruce: I am. The name's Bruce. And you are clearly the most beautiful girl in the whole school.
Cassidy: I know.
Bruce (v/o): Well, I may still be evil, but at least I can talk to Cassidy.
Tim: (v/o) I don't think that's a silver lining in this. You did try to hurt her when you were controlled by Mesogog, remember? And this is pretty much ten-fold, since we, or rather the others, couldn't knock you to your senses.
Bruce (v/o): We'll see.

(The storm outside gets worse. Lightning strikes Crowmeowme Tower.)

Bruce (v/o): Good thing the tower has plenty of preventive measures in case of a direct lightning strike.

(Kira skips ahead a bit more. When Ocean Alert was filming in Reefside. As the Rangers battle Megalodon, Bruce is elsewhere on the beach, watching Cassidy filming her own Ocean Alert.)

Bruce (thinking): Soon, she'll be mine. And maybe by then, I will know my last name.

(Bruce surrounds himself with an illusion of invisibility. While Conner and Ethan are distracted by Nikki, he attacks Tommy and Kira from behind.)

Tim: (v/o) I hope this storm doesn't start interfering with our now annual watching of alternate realities.
Bruce (v/o): It wouldn't be annual unless we only did it once a year. Monthly, perhaps, would work better.
Tim: (v/o) That was basically what I meant.

(Kira decides to fast forward the reality. The Rangers, despite Bruce's interference in the battle of Megalodon, was able to defeat him. It's now showing a day that Trent might find familiar.)

Trent (v/o): Oh great, The day I found the White DinoGem.
Saurian (v/o): Old Papa's house.

(Unlike what has happened for Trent, he leaves after speaking to his father, and doesn't return to his study. Instead, back in school, Devin arrives in Randall's office. He accidentally finds an invisa-portal, and it sucks him to Mesogog's.)

Devin (v/o): I've got a bad feeling about this.
Bruce (v/o): Looks like you're going to be a Ranger two realities in a row. Unless something else happens.

(Devin finds the White DinoGem.)

Devin: Where am I? And what the heck is this rock?

(Devin reaches his hand for it, and it jumps out, wrapping onto his wrist.)

Devin: What the?

(The DinoGem arcs with energy. Devin tries to escape, while pulling on the Gem. As he's running, he runs right into another invisa-portal unknowingly, sending him back to Reefside. Elsewhere in Reefside, Cassidy is waiting outside of Channel 3.)

Cassidy (to herself): Devin, where are you? How am I supposed to get a job here without my cameraman?

(Suddenly, an invisa-portal opens up near Cassidy. A figure jumps through, landing on his feet. The White Ranger.)

Cassidy: A Power Ranger. And no cameraman when I need one. This would have been a great interview.
WR: I'm not one of those losers. I'm the real deal.
Cassidy: You mean, you aren't here to save Reefside?
WR: I'm here to rule Reefside. So, in a way, I am here to save it. From the losers.
Cassidy: Not good.

(Cassidy starts to run.)

Cassidy: Help! Evil Power Ranger! Help!
WR: Not so fast.

(The White Ranger uses his speed to block Cassidy's path.)

Cassidy: Don't hurt me. I'm to pretty to die this young.

(Before the White Ranger can do anything, the Rangers arrive.)

Conner: Another Ranger?
Ethan: As long as it isn't you know who, he cant be that bad, can he?
Kira: I heard someone screaming about an Evil Power Ranger. So, it could be worse.
WR: Wonderful. The losers are here. Saves me the trouble in trying to find them.

(Before a fight can begin, the Silver Ranger arrives.)

Bruce (altered): I don't know who you are, but Mesogog sent me to recruit you. And Mesogog doesn't take no for an answer.
WR: Like I care. I work alone.

(The White Ranger grabs Cassidy, before he escapes with his speed, taking her with him.)

Bruce (altered): Hey, she's mine.

(Bruce takes off after the White Ranger and Cassidy.)

Conner: Well, Bruce may be evil, but he still cares for Cassidy.
Ethan: Yeah, but what if he hurts her? Like he's done to us already.

(Another lightning strike occurs, this one hitting Tim and Kira's building. Kira holds Tim's hand, just seconds before the alternate reality viewer and it's remote start glowing. there's a nearly blinding flash. When it dies down, Tim is gone. And Kira is wearing different clothes.)

Conner: What just happened?
Ethan: Must have been a power surge.

(CJ starts crying.)

Devin: Uh, where'd Tim go? And when did Kira change clothes?
Kira: Tim? Who's Tim?

(Kira looks over and sees Bruce. She gets in a fighting stance. Devin looks at the alternate reality viewer.)

Devin: Uh, guys..

(Devin points at the viewer. Kira and Tim are standing there, with Conner and Ethan.)

Bruce: That power surge turned the alternate reality viewer into an alternate reality portal.

(In the alternate reality...)

Kira: Uh, Tim. Are we back in Reefside?
Tim: Yeah, but that's not all.. Conner and Ethan are here, and morphed. We must be..
Kira: In the reality we were watching?
Tim: I think so. Bruce did say that our viewer might have some bugs in it.
Conner: Uh, Kira, why did you just power down?
Ethan: And who's this guy?
Tim: It's kind of hard to explain.
Conner: Whoa. That's a wedding ring on Kira's hand.
Ethan: Something is definitely wrong here.
Tim: Like I said, it's hard to explain.
Kira: Guys, you might not believe this, but, I'm not your Kira. I'm a Kira from a different reality, six years in the future. This is Tim, my husband. And, in our reality, he was one of us, the Green Ranger.
Ethan: Green like Dr O used to be?
Tim: Well, in color, yeah, I guess. But I wasn't ever evil like him. Unless you count two cases. One of them is when I fought against one of us. The other, I was kind of controlled to install a virus into Dr. O's computers.
Conner: So, where's our Kira? Now that we have two evil Rangers to fight.
Kira: Probably in our apartment. In Gray Lake City.
Ethan: Where?
Kira: The city Bruce's brothers have started developing.
Conner: Bruce has brothers?
Tim: We really don't have time to be explaining this stuff.
Conner: This dude's right. We may not like Cassidy, but we have to save her. Even if we risk getting double-teamed by Bruce and this new guy.
Kira (whispered): Should we tell them who it is?
Tim: Uh, Kira and I don't have any powers anymore, so I don't think we'll be much help, in terms of fighting two morphed evil Rangers.
Ethan: We'd better call Dr O. But how do we explain this?
Conner: He's a Power Ranger. He'll understand. Look at some of that stuff in his diary. Aliens, time travelers, a lost galaxy.
Tim: There's, uh, more that you might want to know. We kind of know the identity of the White Ranger. In our reality, we can kind of watch other realities with a TV Bruce's family made. It's also the cause for us coming here. So, we're kind of up to speed with what's going on here.
Conner: So, Bruce is on your side?
Kira: In our reality, he switched sides after we saved Dr O from Mesogog, because he couldn't fight his friends.
Ethan: Well, here, he started attacking us even worse after that. We've even got to watch our backs at school.
Tim: We know. We've been watching, like I said.
Conner: OK, we'll call Dr O. Maybe Hayley can figure out how to get you two home. But first, we have to help Cassidy.

(Speaking of whom...)

Cassidy: Uh, you can just let me go somewhere around here. I can make my way back home.
WR: Who says that I'm going to do that?

(The White Ranger suddenly grabs his helmet. In the process, he lets Cassidy go, and then disappears. Bruce arrives nearby. Seeing the White Ranger leave, he powers down, before approaching Cassidy.)

Bruce: Cass?
Cassidy: Bruce. Am I glad to see you. How did you find me?
Bruce: I saw that Ranger carrying you, and followed. If he hadn't disappeared, I was going to show him some moves I know.
Cassidy: Oh, Bruce. I was so scared. Hold me.

(Bruce hugs Cassidy.)

Bruce (thinking): If he hadn't left suddenly, I would have used that sleep gas arrow, on him and Cassidy. Then I deliver him to Mesogog, while Cassidy would wake up safe at my place.

(Not far away, the White Ranger stops and demorphs, revealing Devin. He's holding his head.)

Devin: What..? What happened? Where am I? Last thing I remember is going into Principal Randall's office..

(Devin starts to walk in the direction the White Ranger came from, and runs into Bruce and Cassidy.)

Cassidy: Devin? Where have you been? I was waiting for you over at Channel 3, when a new evil Ranger showed up and kidnapped me. You're lucky I don't fire you.
Devin: What time is it?
Cassidy: Almost 5 o'clock. Why?
Devin: That's.. weird. Last time I looked at a clock, was during school, around 2, right before I went to see Principal Randall. Everything after that is a blank until I found myself wandering around here.
Bruce (thinking): Amnesia. Something I know all too well.
Cassidy: Maybe you should have a doctor check you out. Just don't be late tomorrow. I've got big plans for a story. We're going to try and find this new Ranger.
Devin: Uh, sure, but that's kind of dangerous, Cass.
Cassidy: Danger is my middle name.
Devin: No it isn't. It's Agnes.
Cassidy: It's just an expression.
Bruce: I'll walk you home, Cassidy. And if Devin thinks it's too dangerous to hunt down this new Ranger, I'll go with you.
Devin: It would probably be safer than go with just us two looking, Cass. If he's as evil as you say, since he kidnapped you.
Cassidy: And Bruce says he knows some moves. He can protect both of us.
Bruce (thinking): And when we find him, I will alert my Master.
Devin: And maybe we'll also get lucky, and the Power Rangers show up to help.
Bruce: Yeah, maybe. (thinking) If they do, I'll make sure they get ambushed. Elsa, Zeltrax and a few dozen Tyrannodrones.
Devin: I'll see both of you tomorrow, then. Maybe I can't remember anything from earlier because of sleep deprivation. I'm going to try to get to sleep early.
Cassidy: Good idea. But if you're late, you are so fired.
Devin: I'll try not to be late.

(Bruce and Cassidy start walking towards her house. Back in Gray Lake...)

Bruce: I'll call Bob, see if he has any ideas on how to get Tim and Kira back.
Devin: Great idea, just one thing.. What are we going to do with this Kira?
Conner: We keep her from freaking out.

(Saurian comes in from the bathroom.)

Kira: Mesogog? This is a trap. I knew it.
Ethan: I think we just failed that.
Trent: Uh, Saurian, go back in the bathroom.
Saurian: Oh, I forgot to wash my hands. OK.

(Saurian goes back to the bathroom.)

Trent: That's not Mesogog. That's Saurian. He's like Mesogog's son, but he's not evil. He lives with me and my Dad. For reasons I shouldn't explain because it would give you too much knowledge about the future.
Ethan: Yeah, except Saurian might not be created there.
Trent: That's not the part I was talking about.

(Kira relaxes slightly, but still keeps one eye on Bruce.)

Ethan: I didn't say it was. Not necessarily, anyway.
Devin: (to Kira) You don't have to keep giving Bruce the eagle eye. He's not going to attack you with your back turned, or something.
Kira: You mean he's not our enemy.
Conner: He's been one of us since Dr O became the Black Ranger.
Ethan: At first, he was an enemy, just like he was to you. But when he realized he was fighting us, he broke away from Mesogog and joined us.
Bruce: I knew I could never fight my friends.
Kira: Oh, so that's why he nearly broke Conner's arm while we were fighting Golden Rod.
Ethan: It's a different reality.
Devin: Yeah. In yours, Mesogog must have a much stronger hold on Bruce's DinoGem, so Bruce can't fight what's going on to him.
Bruce: The only good thing in your reality is that I can talk to Cassidy. Here, I would zone out around her. I couldn't even get out a coherent syllable.
Kira: So, Devin, how do you know all this?
Devin: It's, uh.. kind of hard to explain without possibly spoiling knowledge of the future, like Trent said.
Kira: Sounds more like something Ethan would say.
Ethan: Let's just say that some time down the road, we stopped being Rangers, and Devin and Cassidy found out the truth. We haven't been Rangers for a long while here.
Conner: Yeah, not since before Prom. With one exception.
Ethan: Yeah. That's all we can really tell you, though.
Devin: So, now do you believe us about Bruce here?
Kira: I suppose so.
Bruce: OK, now I'll call Bob. Kitty, be good for everyone while I go outside and call Uncle Bob.
Kitty: OK, Daddy.

(Bruce goes out into the hall. Kitty sits down next to Krista and CJ.)

Ethan: So, there's no Tim there, huh? Not even as a student at Reefside?
Kira: What's his last name?
Conner: Williams.
Kira: I think there's a football player with that name, but we aren't in any classes together. And I don't really follow football.
Devin: At least Tim is there this time. I wonder what would happen if he ran into himself?
Ethan: Worst case scenario? Some sort of space-time paradox that could destroy both realities.
Devin: I thought that was time travel paradoxes, like in Back to the Future?
Ethan: That would just destroy one reality. But since they traveled across dimensions, it would be more catastrophic.
Devin: Well, you're really only guessing. Sounds good, but that doesn't mean it's correct.
Ethan: I could call Hayley. She might have a better idea.
Devin: Let's just wait until Bruce comes back and ask him. He probably knows more about it, since he can share experiences with his brothers through his DNA.
Kira: Ok, that just weirded me out.
Devin: It's, uh, actually not as weird as you might think.
Conner: But you'll learn all about Bruce and his family soon enough. If we can get you back home.
Devin: I bet that our Kira and Tim could probably help in getting Bruce good for you guys. And if not, probably help in some way before you can get back home.
Conner: Actually, it looks like Bruce has other things on his mind.

(The viewer shows Bruce and Cassidy, kissing outside of her house. The viewer then shifts back to Conner, Ethan, Kira and Tim. Tommy just arrives, morphed.)

Tim: Hey Dr. O.
Tommy: So, these two are from a different reality, huh?
Conner: Yeah. One where Bruce isn't trying to kick our butts.
Tim: And one where I was in your first period science class. I would guess that I don't go to school at Reefside here.
Tommy: I think there's someone who looks like you in third period science. That's my off hour.
Tim: Really? Huh. Guess I wouldn't have known I was in this reality unless we could see me on the viewer.
Tommy: We'd better get the two of them back to the lab. Hayley will be waiting for us.
Tim: I'm sure that our friends are trying to figure out how to bring your Kira back and get us back home, so in the meantime, maybe we can try to help.
Conner: Without DinoGems, you two don't stand a chance against Bruce. Much less this new Ranger.
Tim: Yeah, fighting them is out of the question. But, we've known Bruce in our reality for a lot longer, since in our reality, all of us aren't Rangers anymore. We can probably talk him down.
Tommy: It might be safer if you go without Kira. He wouldn't know you were a Ranger, so he probably wouldn't attack you.
Tim: I suppose so. In the meantime, Kira can tell you what we know of about the White Ranger. From what we saw in our reality.
Kira: Are you sure that's a good idea? I mean, we didn't find out who he was until after a few battles.
Tim: I doubt it's going to change that much. And considering that the identity is different in this reality, the outcome was probably going to be different anyway.
Kira: OK. Be careful when you talk to Bruce.

(Kira kisses Tim.)

Tim: I'll be careful. Even if Bruce won't really know me, and even if he's being controlled by Mesogog, I think he wouldn't attack me anyway. Especially after what I'm going to tell him. He might not want to believe me, but it's his choice.
Kira: I hope so.
Tommy: Meet us at the lab when you're done.
Tim: Alright. (pauses) Your lab is still outside of town, right?
Tommy: Yeah.
Tim: Just checking. Alternate realities and all. You could've had it in a completely different place.
Tommy: I suppose so.
Kira: Uh, is Bruce still homeless?
Conner: As far as I know. Unless he's living at Mesogog's now.
Tim: I'll check around Cassidy's first. Considering he's able to talk around her, he could be around her house.
Kira: Good idea.

(In fact, Bruce isn't just around there. He's in the house with Cassidy. Her parents are out of town.)

Bruce: I'd better get going. I need to get my sleep for tomorrow.
Cassidy: You could stay here tonight. I... I think I'm in love with you, Bruce.
Bruce: Well, I've been in love with you since the first day of school.

(It takes awhile, but Tim arrives at Cassidy's. He doesn't go to the door, though, and just looks around for Bruce.)

Tim: (thinking) No sign of Bruce. Unless he's inside.

(Two silhouettes can be seen in Cassidy's bedroom window. And they're clearly doing more than just kissing. Tim notices the silhouettes.)

Tim: (thinking) Bruce and Cassidy are..

(Tim quickly makes it to the door of Cassidy's house. He rings the doorbell. He then hides nearby, to be out of sight. Inside...)

Cassidy: Oh great. Someone has bad timing.
Bruce: Go send them away. I'll be waiting.

(Cassidy puts a robe on, and goes to answer the door. Tim waits in his hiding place, and notices that Cassidy comes to the door in her robe, considering she's the one that checks to see who's at the door.)

Tim: (thinking) Great. I was hoping it was going to be Bruce. I guess I'll have to wait until he leaves the house.
Cassidy: No one here. Someone playing ding dong ditch.

(Cassidy closes the door and goes back inside. Tim moves away from Cassidy's house, but not far. Just far enough so that he can see Bruce leave the house, and also be out of his eyesight when he does. The sun starts setting, and Bruce has yet to leave. Tim just continues to wait. Just about 10, Bruce finally comes out. But he's not leaving. He just has to report in to Mesogog. Tim notices Bruce, and also notices that he's not leaving. He picks up a nearby pebble off the ground. As quietly as he can, he throws it in a direction away from Cassidy's house, hoping to lure him away from there, so that he can follow him.)

Bruce: Huh? (Thinking) Whoever threw that is lucky I'm in a good mood right now. I wont morph to kick their butt.

(Bruce walks away from Cassidy's house. Tim quietly follows Bruce, waiting until they're away from Cassidy's before he tries to make his presence known to him.)

Bruce: Whoever threw that pebble has ten seconds before I show how I got my name.

(Tim comes up into what little light is around.)

Tim: If you do that, you won't know where you come from.
Bruce: Who are you? And how do you know where I come from?
Tim: Let's just say that I'm a friend, from the future.
Bruce: The future? Yeah, right. There's no such thing as time travel.
Tim: You work for Mesogog, and you don't believe in something like time travel?
Bruce: OK, how do you know who I work for. And if I don't like your answer, well, I've got just the arrow for you.
Tim: I just told you. I'm from the future. I know these things.
Bruce: Fine. So talk. But if I'm not back in ten minutes, Cassidy is going to start worrying.
Tim: I'll tell you one thing, and one thing only. You're not a human. And sticking with Mesogog won't give you the answers you seek.
Bruce: So, what, I'm some sort of alien?
Tim: You're half right. You're a clone of two aliens. Have you ever had this lingering feeling of deja vu? Like you've done something before, only you could swear that you haven't?
Bruce: Yeah. Every time I see Doctor Oliver. And an urge to break his limbs.
Tim: That's the lingering memories of your "brothers". The ones that cloned you from their DNA.
Bruce: OK, so I'm an alien clone, and my so-called brothers hate Doctor Oliver as much as Zeltrax does. If that's even possible.
Tim: No, they don't. They used to, but not anymore.
Bruce: Fine. They don't. But I do.
Tim: Bruce, you might want to know why you were cloned.
Bruce: You've got... (checks watch) ...five minutes.
Tim: You were cloned with those abilities of martial arts, and the eagerness to learn, because your "brothers" wanted you to be a good person. I know that you always wanted to know where you've come from. Do you really want to destroy their legacy by continuing this path?
Bruce: If I don't keep serving Mesogog, he's threatened to hurt Cassidy. And after what she and I just did, I don't want to see her hurt. Ever.
Tim: Is that the real reason? You attack Conner and the others without a second thought, despite them being your friends before Mesogog got you to join him. I doubt he had that over you the entire time.
Bruce: He also said he would help me learn who I am. But, since you seem to know that, I only have to serve him to protect her.
Tim: You don't have to serve him at all. Cassidy can be protected, and you know that. You don't have to do it alone.
Bruce: I think there's more. Every time I morph, I seem to lose control of my actions most of the time. Though, earlier today, my love for Cassidy compelled me to save her from that new Ranger.
Tim: If you're worried that you'll lose control after you morph, you could just go to Dr. O and the others. They do have the means to fix your Morpher.
Bruce: OK, I'll do that tomorrow. I just have to keep a promise to Cassidy first.
Tim: There's something I need to ask you first. (pauses) Is this entire thing about Cassidy and not knowing yourself an act? I mean, are you only acting like you want out from Mesogog, just to get close to the others?
Bruce: No. Ever since Cassidy and I kissed, I've been having doubts about being evil. Like the love we share is my destiny.
Tim: Good, because it is. I'd tell you more about your future, but as you know, it could disrupt things. I can only tell you what I know of your past.
Bruce: Thank you. Now, Id better get back before she thinks I left her. If I had a real house, Id ask her to move in with me.
Tim: If you get in contact with your family, you can get one. I'll tell you their names later.
Bruce: Alright.

(Bruce runs back towards Cassidy's house. Two headlights approach Tim. It's Tommy's jeep, but Tommy isn't driving.)

Kira: Need a ride, handsome?

(Tim says nothing, and gets into the jeep.)

Tim: Why are you driving Dr. O's jeep?
Kira: Because Conner wouldn't let me drive his car. And it would look odd for me to show up on a Raptor Cycle. I was getting worried about you.
Tim: Let's just say I found Bruce at Cassidy's, and they were... engaged in an activity in her house, so I had to wait until Bruce left to talk to him.
Kira: I can guess what type of activity. Hayley's working on trying to get us home. Hopefully, Bruce and the others are doing the same on the other side.

(Back in Gray Lake, Bruce comes back in. Kitty runs over to him.)

Bruce: Were you a good girl while I was outside?
Kitty: Yes, Daddy.
Bruce: Ok. (to the others) I talked to Bob. He thinks the lightning strike interacted with the technology of the viewer creating a portal for a few moments.
Ethan: Would another lightning strike reverse it, maybe?
Bruce: That's Bob's theory.
Krista: But lightning never strikes the same place twice.
Bruce A Crowmeowme never says never, Krista. Bob's talking to Oliver and Ronny about getting that taken care of.
Devin: Then I guess in the meantime, we'll just have to keep watching, and see how things are going for them.
Bruce: Yeah.
Conner: You'd be proud of yourself, bro. You and Cassidy just, well, I cant go into details with little ears around.
Bruce: There was another reality I witnessed where that happened before we graduated. It didn't end well for her. Or for Tim.

(On the viewer, it shows Tim and Kira arrive at the lab. Hayley is hard at work at the computer. Conner and Ethan have left.)

Kira: I guess the guys had to go home?
Tommy: Yeah. Even though it's not a school night, they need their sleep. How'd it go with Bruce?
Tim: I convinced him that I was a time traveler from the future that knew about his past, and revealed some things to him. I think he's ready to leave Mesogog for good, since that was one of the reasons why he willingly joined him in the first place, it seems.
Tommy: That's good. We might need his help fighting Devin. If I had found the White DinoGem first, we wouldn't have had to worry about this.
Tim: Bruce also told me that he's afraid of using his morpher at the moment, since Mesogog apparently programmed it to take him over or something. But Hayley could fix it. And there's one other thing.
Tommy: And that is?
Tim: Mesogog threatened to hurt Cassidy if Bruce didn't work for him. He was helping Mesogog to also protect her.
Tommy: So, there was some good in him. From what Kira told me about him, that doesn't surprise me. I know how much Brian and Bob would sacrifice to protect Kim and Kat.
Tim: Yeah.
Tommy: Why don't you two go upstairs and get some sleep. If Hayley figures out something, I'll call you on the phone.
Tim: Alright. Come on, Kira.
Kira: Right behind you.

(Tim and Kira head upstairs to get some sleep. Several hours pass. Morning has come. Conner and Ethan show up early at Tommy's house.)

Conner: You go on downstairs. I need to use the little Ranger's room.
Ethan: OK.

(As Ethan heads down to the lab, Conner heads to the bathroom, which means he has to go through the bedroom.)

Conner: Whoa.

(Tim and Kira are still asleep. They're still clothed, but they've been sleeping with their arms wrapped around each other.)

Conner (thinking): I keep forgetting this Kira is married. I shouldn't be so shocked by this.

(Conner silently goes into the bathroom, and locks the door. Elsewhere in Reefside, Bruce and Cassidy wake up.)

Cassidy: Good morning.
Bruce: Good morning, my news angel.
Cassidy: News angel. I like that. I guess I need to start getting ready before Devin shows up.
Bruce: OK. I'll go fix breakfast.
Cassidy: That is so sweet of you.

(Cassidy and Bruce kiss, before he gets dressed, and heads down to the kitchen. As Bruce goes for the kitchen, the doorbell rings.)

Bruce: Must be Devin.

(Bruce answers the door. Just as the door opens, a blast is sent towards Bruce. The blast comes from Zeltrax, who is accompanied by a few Tyrannodrones.)

Bruce: What are you doing here, Zeltrax? I'm the only Ranger here. And if you're after Cassidy, Mesogog gave me a special arrow in case you ever betrayed him.
Zeltrax: It is you who has betrayed him! Mesogog knows of your late night conversation. He sent me here to make sure that you either work for him, or die. Tyrannodrones!

(The Tyrannodrones start to enter the house, intending to search it for Cassidy.)

Bruce: Well, if you and your scaly cronies touch one hair on her head, I'll tell Dr Oliver a few things I learned while I was hidden under an illusion. Like say, who you really are, Terrance Smith.
Zeltrax: And who says that you will live to tell anyone this?
Bruce: Because, all I have to do is put a huge illusion up, and the Power Rangers will be here before you can oil your joints. Or, would you like to know what I learned about Mesogog?

(Zeltrax gets ready to say something, but Devin arrives behind him.)

Devin: Whoa. Uh, what's going on?

(Zeltrax turns. He quickly grabs Devin. Bruce seemingly does nothing, but he is doing what he threatened to do. A huge illusion appears over Cassidy's house. A giant marquee proclaiming "Zeltrax is here".)

Zeltrax: So you do not care about this human's life. Very well.

(Zeltrax gets ready to stab Devin. However, Devin starts to get an intense headache. A shockwave coming from Devin knocks Zeltrax down, and a blinding light covers Devin. When it disappears, the White Ranger is standing there. He's facing Zeltrax.)

WR: You must be the other idiot that works for Mesogog.
Bruce (thinking) Devin's the White Ranger? I cant let Cassidy find this out.
WR: I'll give you the same answer I gave the other one. I work alone.

(The White Ranger gets ready to escape with his speed, but a blast hits around him, stopping him. Conner, Ethan, and Tommy arrive morphed. Tim and Kira also arrive shortly afterwards, in Tommy's jeep.)

Tommy: We cant let you hurt anyone, Devin.

(Bruce lets the illusion vanish, then drop kicks Zeltrax from behind.)

Bruce: Tell Mesogog that's my resignation letter.

(Bruce rushes upstairs to protect Cassidy.)

WR: I don't know who that is. I am the White Ranger. And you losers are in my way.
Conner: OK, he doesn't know who he is.
Tommy: We still cant let him hurt anyone. Especially Cassidy and Bruce.
WR: You're not going to stop me. None of you can. You're just the fakes. I'm the real deal.
Ethan: If we're the fakes, why have we been around longer?
WR: That's easy. So I would have someone to pummel when I arrive.
Tommy: Ok, so say you do defeat us. Then what do you do?
WR: I defeat this Mesogog person, then rule over Reefside.
Tommy: Well, even if you do defeat Mesogog, there's other Rangers out there who will stop you. Space Rangers, Lightspeed Rangers.
Conner: Don't forget those Ninjas.
Tommy: They don't have their powers anymore, Conner.
WR: And why would they bother me? I have no intention of taking over the world. Just this city.
Tommy: Because, it's what Rangers do. They stop the bad guy.
WR: You misunderstand my methods. I am not going to rule Reefside like some wimpy criminal overlord. My ruling is more like royalty.
Conner: And I'm sure the citizens of Reefside will object to that, "Your Majesty".
WR: And why would they? I will be getting rid of the pests in this city. All of the criminal activity, and whatever comes to harm its citizens. Like you and Mesogog. You may think that you're helping this city because you're here, but that's my job.
Tommy: Then you're no better than Mesogog. Or Lothor.
WR: Because I want to help make this city a better place? You really like to agitate people, "old man".
Tommy: No, because you think your way is better than what's already working. We can help you see the light. Help us defeat Mesogog.
WR: Me? Help the fakes? No thanks. Like I've said already, I work better alone. And it's time to stop talking.

(The White Ranger pulls out his Drago Sword, draws laser arrows, and fires them at the Rangers, before he makes his escape.)

Conner: That was more brutal that what Bruce has done to us.
Tommy: We know where we can find Devin. We'll confront him when he isn't morphed.

(Tim and Kira walk forward.)

Tim: I don't think confronting him when he isn't morphed will help.

(Bruce comes downstairs.)

Bruce: Dr Oliver, Ethan, Conner. I want to help you. That's why I alerted you that Zeltrax was here. I want to keep Cassidy safe. She's the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. If I keep working for Mesogog, she's at risk.
Conner: (to Tim) So why wouldn't confronting him not morphed help?
Tim: You guys noticed how he was acting. He wasn't Devin.
Tommy: He's got a point. We just need to bide our time. We'll have to defeat him to get him to change sides.
Kira: If he's anything like the White Ranger we fought, you have to wait until he starts working with Mesogog, and then Zeltrax makes Mesogog think he was betrayed.
Tim: I don't think that will work here, Kira.
Kira: Well, I'm just going by experience.
Bruce: I can reveal a few things about Mesogog and his inner circle that I learned without them knowing.
Tim: We could too, actually, but it's probably best that comes naturally, so you best tell them.
Bruce: Mesogog is really Anton Mercer. I saw Mesogog transform. Good thing he didn't know I was there. Zeltrax's real name is Terrance Smith. And Elsa is our very own Principal Randall.
Ethan: No way.
Tim: All of that is what Kira and I knew as well.
Bruce: Uh, how does Kira know that?
Conner: Dr O? You're being too quiet.
Tommy: Sorry, Conner. It's just, I thought Terrance Smith was dead. He was a friend, at one time.
Tim: This isn't the Kira you know. (pauses) It's time to tell you the whole truth about me, Bruce. Kira and I come from an alternate reality, where I was one of the Rangers with you and the others.

(Tim explains all he can to him.)

Bruce: So that's how you know me, not just because you're from the future.

(Bruce hears Cassidy's door open.)

Bruce: You guys need to leave. Id have a hard time explaining things to Cass. I'll have enough trouble as it is telling her why breakfast isn't ready.
Tommy: OK. Meet us at Hayley's later.
Bruce: Alright.

(The Rangers leave.)

Kira: Come on, Tim. Let's get some breakfast.
Tim: Alright. Let's just get some breakfast where my other self here wouldn't frequent, just in case. Although, I'm not sure where that would be.
Kira: Back at Dr O's house?
Tim: Since my other self doesn't have the same classes, then that would be the best place.
Kira: And also since he's not a Ranger.

(Kira and Tim get back in the jeep and head back to Tommy's. Back in Gray Lake...)

Conner: Let's skip ahead. No offense, bro, but I don't want to see you fixing breakfast for Cassidy.
Bruce: Yeah, that does sound pretty boring.

(Bruce skips ahead. It's around noon. Thanks to an illusion of bad weather, Cassidy called off the search for the White Ranger. Bruce has gone to Hayley's to meet the others. When Bruce arrives, he realizes that Hayley's seems to be closed. However, the door opens to let him in.)

Tommy: Glad you made it.
Bruce: Well, when I saw the closed sign, I was afraid we'd have to meet somewhere else.
Tommy: Hayley did a favor for us. She's one of the few who know we're the Power Rangers. And she should be able to help you with your morpher problem. You would be in total control when you morph.
Bruce: I'd like that.

(Bruce takes his morpher off, and sets it on the table.)

Tim: Not to mention that this is the second best place to meet, since you don't know where Dino Central is.
Bruce: Yeah.
Conner: So, are you sure you're done working for Mesogog?
Bruce: 100%. Now that I know a little of my past. And have plenty of reasons now to keep Cassidy safe.
Tim: Speaking of your past, I promised that I'd tell you something. Your family, the ones that cloned you, is the Crowmeowmes. Brian and Bob.

(Bruce holds his head, much like he would often do when in Tommy's class.)

Ethan: Are you OK?
Bruce: Yeah. It's just, that name, it must have triggered some memories. Not much. I saw... well, it looked like I was in a giant fishbowl.
Tim: Probably the cloning tank you were in.
Ethan: That is just so sci-fi.
Tommy: But it isn't. I even worked with a clone that Bob made.
Tim: You mean X-1, right? Ben Crowmeowme, from Lightspeed.
Tommy: No. Kim's clone, Annie Jean Josephson. Brian did a movie about the Power Rangers. Most of us played ourselves. Kim couldn't, because she was pregnant.
Tim: Oh, right. I thought you might've meant someone other than her.
Tommy: I've met Ben a few times, though.
Tim: In either case, Bruce, if you had questions about clone stuff, other than the ones that cloned you, you could also talk to Ben.
Bruce: Nice to know I've got family.
Tommy: And most of them have been Rangers. The only exceptions would be your nieces and nephews. Although, one grows up to be a Ranger.
Tim: So, what are we going to do now, Dr. O?
Tommy: We let Hayley examine Bruce's morpher. Once she makes sure it's safe to be used again, we wait for Devin to strike again.
Tim: And while we wait, Hayley needs to figure out how to get us home.
Tommy: She's worked on that all night. And she still doesn't have any ideas. Considering she doesn't know the technology of the viewer that sent you here.
Tim: Brian and Bob originally made it, so maybe talking to them will give you some ideas.
Tommy: OK, I'll call them. I can also let them know we found their missing clone
Tim: Yeah.
Kira: In our reality, they had a device which filled in Bruce's memory gap.
Bruce: So I would know everything about who I am?
Kira: Probably.
Tim: Yeah, probably.
Bruce: Cool.

(Hayley grabs Bruce's morpher and takes it into the back room, while Tommy goes to call Angel Grove. Meanwhile, the White Ranger arrives in the park by the lake. He suddenly grabs his head, then demorphs back into Devin.)

Devin: Huh..? How did I get here? I was at Cassidy's..

(Elsa and some Tyrannodrones step into view.)

Elsa: You're coming with us.
Devin: What? Why?
Elsa: You've got something that belongs to my master. So, you either work for him, or we destroy you to take it back.
Devin: I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm just a high school student slash cameraman. Speaking of cameraman, someone is going to be upset that I'm late again, so I better go.

(Devin starts to leave. The Tyrannodrones block his path.)

Elsa: You will come with us, or your little blonde friend will suffer a very painful fate.
Devin: Why are you threatening Cassidy? And I don't have anything that you need, so why are you bothering me?
Elsa: Look on your wrist, you fool.
Devin: My wrist?

(Devin looks at his right wrist, not seeing anything. He then looks at his left wrist.)

Devin: Huh? When did I get this?
Elsa: Somehow, you found my master's fortress, and took it from him. (thinking) I need to start locking my office when I'm not in it.
Devin: I swear, I have no idea how I got this. It must've happened when I blacked out yesterday.
Elsa: We can help you learn to control it's power. All you have to do is destroy the Power Rangers for us. Especially the Silver Ranger.
Devin: Whoa, whoa. I'm telling you that I have no idea what you're talking about. Okay, I have this weird bracelet on my wrist, but that doesn't explain why you think that I stole it from your "master", or why you think that I can suddenly destroy the Power Rangers.
Elsa: Because, you are one. Grab him!

(The Tyrannodrones reach for Devin.)

Devin: Uh, I think I would know if I was one..

(Devin tries to run away. The Tyrannodrones grab him.)

Elsa: Now, you'll cooperate. Or my friend Zeltrax pays your friend the last visit she ever has. At least, that doesn't involve a casket.
Devin: Let go of me! I don't know.. what.. you're..

(Devin starts to get another headache. Like before with Zeltrax, he changes into the White Ranger, knocking the Tyrannodrones off him.)

WR: Oh great, another one that must work for this "Mesogog" person.
Elsa: And you'll work for him too, if you know what's good for you.
WR: I don't work for anyone but myself.
Elsa: Then you have a date with the Life Force Extractor.
WR: Ooo, scary. Is that some sort of mobster talk, like "sleeping with the fishes"?
Elsa: Something like that.

(Elsa raises her sword, and fires a blast at the White Ranger. The White Ranger pulls his Drago Sword out seconds before, and deflects the blast away from him.)

WR: Your other friends of Mesogog couldn't beat me, so I don't see why you bother to try yourself. But if you want this to get ugly..

(The White Ranger decides to get serious, and attacks Elsa, with his super speed. Elsa isn't fast enough to react. The White Ranger finishes his attack. He stops where he started his attack, and turns towards Elsa's direction.)

WR: Have you had enough, or should I finish the job?

(Elsa drops to the ground, and changes back into Randall.)

WR: I guess that answers the question for me.

(The White Ranger leaves with super speed. Back at Hayley's...)

Hayley: OK, I checked out the morpher, and removed a few suspicious looking components, replacing them with some spare parts from Tommy's morpher. It should be completely safe now.
Bruce: Thanks.

(Bruce puts his morpher back on. Outside of Hayley's, the White Ranger suddenly appears. He grabs his head however, and demorphs back to Devin.)

Devin: Where'd those guys go? And why am I outside Hayley's?

(Devin starts to head for Cassidy's. Inside...)

Ethan: Guys, I think I just saw Devin outside.
Tommy: As long as he isn't morphed, he isn't hurting anyone. Brian and Bob will be here tomorrow. They've got things to do today.
Bruce: Then I'll head back to Cassidy's. It's better than where I'm actually living. At least for tonight. Her parents will be home tomorrow.
Tim: Maybe after you get all of your memories, and your own place, you might want to consider telling her about everyone here. If Mesogog will be after her, you can't always be around her to protect her, so if she's let on the secret, she can be safer.
Bruce: Yeah. For her own safety. Unless she sees it as the story of the century. I wont risk it if it means exposing your identities to the whole school. Or more.
Tim: Give her a test first, then. See if she would really do something like that, give her a hypothetical scenario, and see what her answer would be.
Bruce: I will.
Tommy: If we need you, we'll call on your morpher.
Bruce: Ok. And thanks for helping me. All of you.

(Bruce leaves. Back in Gray Lake...)

Krista: Looks like the storm is picking up again.
Bruce: Oliver and Ronny must have come through.
Devin: Or, it could just be starting to storm again, unless there hasn't been anymore called.
Bruce: Either is possible, Dev. Now, we just need to make sure Kira is the only one holding the remote. Otherwise, someone else from her reality could end up here.
Ethan: Yeah.

(Kira holds the remote.)

Kira: Now what?
Bruce: We wait for another lightning strike, and hope that's the ticket. Until then, we keep watching.

(On the viewer, Bruce arrives back at Cassidy's house. He made one stop, to get her some roses.)

Bruce (thinking): Not much money left in my wallet, Hopefully, my family can take care of that for me when I meet them tomorrow.

(What Bruce doesn't know yet is that Devin is inside with Cassidy.)

Cassidy: It's OK that you didn't make it this morning. It was pretty cloudy earlier. But it seems to have cleared up. Once Bruce gets here, we can still go try to find the White Ranger.
Devin: Well, this might have to wait a little longer. I think I'm having some problems.
Cassidy: Did you go to the doctor like you were going to yesterday?
Devin: No. I figured that it was just sleep problems, but it happened again today. Twice.
Cassidy: When Bruce gets here, we'll take you to the emergency room. (pauses) There's something you need to know, Devin. I'm in love with Bruce. He stayed here last night.
Devin: That was a little fast, Cass. You just started dating him not long ago.
Cassidy: I know. But, well, we kissed, and I just felt a spark. It was like magic.
Devin: Well, as long as you're happy.
Cassidy: I am.

(Bruce knocks on the door.)

Cassidy: He's back.

(Cassidy opens the door, coming face to petals with the roses.)

Cassidy: Oh Bruce, they're beautiful.
Bruce: Only half as much as you.
Devin: Hey Bruce. Nice flowers.
Bruce: Oh, hi Devin.

(Cassidy takes the roses from Bruce, then kisses him. His expression changes. His face goes blank.)

Conner (v/o): I know that look. That's how you used to look when you were near Cassidy. Before the space rock.
Bruce (v/o): That doesn't sound good for the other me.
Devin: Uh, Bruce? You alright?
Bruce: Caaaaa..... Caaaaaa.....
Devin: Sounds like Bruce needs to go to the hospital like I do.
Cassidy: He was fine before I took the roses from him.

(Cassidy goes into the other room to get a vase and some water.)

Bruce: OK, that was odd.
Devin: Huh? You seem back to normal now. What happened?
Bruce: I don't know. It's like I couldn't articulate around her. (thinking) Could what Hayley did to my morpher have something to do with that?
Devin: You never had any problems in the past. (pauses) Bruce, there's something I need to talk to you about. Cass already knows what I'm going to tell you. I think there's something wrong with me.
Bruce: I know what's wrong with you. You're the...

(Suddenly, Cassidy screams.)

Bruce: OK, I made sure those were thornless, so that's not because she pricked her finger.
Devin: Maybe she saw a mouse or something. She's not that big on animals like that.
Bruce: It's possible. But just to make sure...

(Bruce goes towards the other room. Devin follows. When they get there, Cassidy is out cold, in the arms of several Tyrannodrones. Zeltrax is also there.)

Zeltrax: The two of you have twenty-four hours to work for Mesogog, or the girl wont live to see the sunset tomorrow.
Devin: Not this again. Some woman said something to me like that in the park. I have no idea how I got there, though. I blacked out while I was here this morning, then suddenly found myself there. But then I blacked out again, and found myself outside Hayley's.
Bruce: Must have been Elsa. (to Zeltrax) Let her go.
Zeltrax: Only if you come back to work for us.

(Bruce's anger rises. And suddenly, his hair changes. He's gone Mega.)

Bruce (v/o): Why does that only happen in alternate realities? I've never gone Mega here.

(Bruce charges at Zeltrax, and throws a punch, denting Zeltrax's armor.)

Zeltrax: You will pay for that.

(Zeltrax, the Tyrannodrones and Cassidy through an Invisa-Portal.)

Devin: Whoa. How'd you do that? And why did he want you to work for that Mesogog guy too?
Bruce: Both are long stories. Right now, I've got to get some help.

(Bruce goes out into Cassidy's back yard.)

Bruce: Dr Oliver, guys, we've got an emergency.
Tommy (v/o): What is it Bruce?
Bruce: Zeltrax has Cassidy. He's given me and Devin 24 hours to work for Mesogog, or she's history.
Tommy (v/o): Wait there. We're on the way. Don't tell Devin anything. If he morphs, don't fight him. He's too dangerous.
Bruce: Right.

(Seconds later, Devin comes out in the back yard.)

Devin: I guess going to the hospital to see what's wrong with me can wait. We need to find a way to get Cass back.
Bruce: Yeah. Go home, Devin. I can take care of that.
Devin: Okay, but there's been something that's been bothering me. (pauses) Did I do something to upset you?
Bruce: I... I cant go into details. It's something you probably don't remember doing.
Devin: So I did do something.. When I blacked out, probably. But what? That Elsa you mentioned, she told me that I took this from her master's fortress, but I don't remember anything about how I got it.

(Devin is referring to the DinoGem bracelet on his left wrist.)

Bruce: You're a Power Ranger, Devin. But not one of the good guys. Yesterday, you kidnapped Cassidy. This morning, you showed up here, and then suddenly morphed. When you're the White Ranger, you aren't yourself. Something I know a bit about.
Devin: Wait, I'm.. the White Ranger? No, that can't be true. I wouldn't hurt Cassidy, or anyone.
Bruce: Tell that to the other Rangers. They should be here soon. We're going to save Cassidy. And the last thing we need is you trying to destroy us in the process.
Devin: Great, you don't believe me.

(Devin turns and gets ready to leave.)

Bruce: I believe what I've seen with my own eyes. And when you're the White Ranger, you're too uncontrollable. You can come with us if you want, but we'll hold you responsible if you morph.
Devin: I don't even know how to do that. If I've done it when I black out, I don't know what's going on. If you don't believe me when I say that, then maybe it's best if I do just get out of here.
Bruce: I'll have Cassidy call you when she's safe.
Devin: Don't bother. If I am as dangerous as you say, it's probably best that I don't see her, or anyone else.

(Devin leaves.)

Bruce (thinking): I hope I haven't cost Cass her best friend.

(Bruce goes outside to wait for the others. It isn't long until they arrive, along with Tim and Kira.)

Conner: You look down, bro.
Bruce: Devin wanted to come with us. He doesn't realize how dangerous he is when he's the White Ranger. I may have just cost the woman I love her best friend.
Tim: So.. you told him?
Bruce: Yeah. And there's more. When Zeltrax was here, I... I changed, somehow. I punched him and dented his armor.
Tim: You went Mega. You never did that in our reality, but we've seen you do it a couple of times in others.
Ethan: Sounds like a Super Saiyan.
Conner: A what?
Ethan: A Super Saiyan. What, you've never seen Dragon Ball Z?
Conner: The only ball I care about is a soccer ball.
Tim: Yeah, it kind of is like that. He basically inherits it from his "brothers".
Bruce: Anything else I inherited?
Tim: Not that I can recall at the moment.
Bruce: There is one more thing. When I was face to face with Cassidy, I... I couldn't talk to her. I was OK with the roses I bought her in front of me, and when she left the room. But otherwise, nothing. I wonder if one of the components that Hayley took out of my morpher was helping me talk to her.
Tim: I wouldn't worry about that so much. Once you see your family, and they use the memory unit to help you, I think that'll probably fix itself.
Bruce: I hope so. Now, let's go save her. Even if I cant talk to her.
Tim: Kira and I can't really go, so we'll be at the lab.
Tommy: It would definitely be safer that way. Hayley has instructions should our Kira return while we're gone.
Tim: And in the meantime, Kira and I will help monitor things with Hayley..
Conner: Three sets of eyes are better than one.
Ethan: Especially with Devin out there.
Tim: Devin might not be a big problem. Bruce, did Devin say something to you about him being threatened?
Bruce: Zeltrax gave us both 24 hours to work for Mesogog, or... well, he threatened Cassidy. But he also mentioned an encounter with Elsa earlier. In the park. Oh, and this morning. Zeltrax came here looking for me. But when Devin showed up, Zeltrax was going to kill him.
Tim: Sounds to me like Devin might be morphing into the White Ranger as some sort of failsafe when he's being threatened, but then he blacks out before he actually does.
Bruce: Great. Someone needs to talk to him. And I doubt he'd listen to me. If he knew that, that could be the first step to him controlling his Ranger powers.
Tim: I don't think so. As we can already guess, when Devin morphs, he blacks out, and he doesn't act like himself at all. I think what's happening is that Devin might be having some sort of split personality, that the DinoGem is controlling.
Bruce: Too bad he doesn't have my problem. I was just being controlled. No split personality, no blackouts.
Tim: I would suggest doing something to help Devin with the split personality, but it could do more harm than good.
Conner: What kind of help?
Tim: I don't know. Maybe some sort of hypnotism.
Tommy: We'll worry about that later. There's a civilian in danger right now.
Tim: We'll leave you guys to it, then.
Kira: Yeah. Be careful.
Conner: Ready?
Rangers: Ready. Dino Thunder, power Up. Ha!

(The Rangers head off to find a way to Mesogog's fortress. Meanwhile, in Mesogog's fortress...)

Zeltrax: Make sure she is secured.
Elsa: And the tighter, the better. I hope those fools don't decide to join us.
Zeltrax: Personal vendetta?
Elsa: No, she's just so... annoying. It would make my other life a bit more tolerable without her around.

(At Reefside High, the Rangers are playing a hunch.)

Conner: You sure we can get to Mesogog's from here?
Tommy: if Bruce is right about Randall being Elsa, she must have an Invisa-Portal in her office.
Ethan: That would make sense.
Bruce: We're coming, Cass.

(The four Rangers enter Randall's outer office, but as for the inner office...)

Tommy: Locked.
Conner; Now what?
Ethan: The janitor would have a master key.
Tommy: We need to go check the sanitation room.
Bruce: Leave that to me. An illusion will keep me unseen, in case there's any security guards on duty.

(Bruce seems to vanish, then goes to get the keys. Back at the lab...)

Kira: Any signs of trouble?
Hayley: No, thankfully.
Tim: They're probably too busy trying to keep Cassidy in check that they're not starting anything.
Kira: Well, there could also be Devin trouble. What if he was mugged? That would be one sorry mugger.
Tim: I doubt we have much chance of that happening. He's probably shut himself in his house.
Kira: Maybe. I hope the others can help him, after Cassidy is safe.
Hayley: It's odd hearing you show such concern for Cassidy. Our Kira just barely tolerates her.
Kira: She's changed by our time. Thanks to Bruce. And their daughter, Kitty.

(Kira starts daydreaming.)

Tim: Cassidy isn't the only one that changes. All of us do. When we first formed as a team, we pretty much just worked together out of obligation. But we all eventually became the best of friends. And now, we also include Cassidy and Devin in that small group.
Hayley: Now that sounds like a great group of friends. Kira? Kira?
Kira: Huh?
Tim: I bet I can guess what you might've been thinking about.
Kira: I was thinking about what kind of parents we'll be someday. I mean, look at how happy Bruce and Cassidy are with Kitty, and Conner and Krista with CJ.
Tim: I know. And we'll have the chance to do that. We've got plenty of time.
Kira: Yeah.

(Back at Reefside High, Bruce returns with the keys.)

Tommy: Nicely done, Bruce.
Bruce: It was nothing.

(Tommy unlocks the door, and the four of them enter. It doesn't take long to find the Invisa-Portal. And they find themselves right behind Zeltrax and Elsa.)

Elsa: Let me turn it on now.
Zeltrax: I gave them 24 hours. I will keep that promise.
Bruce: Well, I cant speak for Devin, but I brought my answer with me.

(Zeltrax and Elsa turn around.)

Elsa: How did you get here?
Tommy: Through the Invisa-Portal in your office, Ms Randall.
Elsa: But I locked it.
Ethan: And forgot that the janitor has a master key.
Elsa: Blast.
Bruce: Let her go. Now.
Elsa: I don't think so.

(Tyrannodrones and Triptoids appear to fight the Rangers.)

Conner: We should be able to handle these guys.
Bruce: I'll free Cassidy. And I know just how to do it.

(Bruce concentrates, and an illusion of Mesogog appears near a different Invisa-Portal.)

"Mesogog": You fools. You still haven't captured the White Ranger. He is our top priority.


(Bruce fights his way through the distracted foot soldiers over to the Life Force Extractor. He unstraps Cassidy.)

Bruce: Time to wake up, beautiful.

(Bruce bends over and kisses her, then faints. The illusion of Mesogog
vanishes.)

Ethan: Great, now we have two people to carry out.
Tommy: We have to get over to them first.
Elsa: Quickly, get her off of there and put the traitor in her place.
Zeltrax: Gladly. He dented my armor earlier.

(Zeltrax walks over and takes Cassidy off the table, placing her on the floor. He picks up Bruce and places him on the table, strapping him down tight.)

Elsa: I suggest you surrender, Rangers. Or he will be the one to pay.
Conner: What do we do?
Tommy: I think Bruce will be alright, for now. Follow my lead.

(Tommy keeps fighting, working his way closer to Zeltrax. Conner and Ethan also start fighting, getting closer to the Life Force Extractor. Back at the lab, an alarm sounds.)

Hayley: Hmm, looks like Mesogog had a monster ready.

(The monitor shows Angor attacking the city.)

Kira: Remember him, honey?
Tim: Yeah. Mesogog used that to lure the White Ranger from our reality into the open. I'm guessing he's trying to do the same to Devin here.
Kira: Well, if you're right, and Devin doesn't morph unless he's threatened, Angor's got a long wait.
Tim: And in the meantime, he'll be attacking the city, while its defenseless.
Kira: If only we still had our DinoGems.
Tim: Yeah. Hayley, do you have any ideas?
Hayley: Not really. We only know of six DinoGems. Tommy theorized there could be two or three others. Maybe more.
Tim: Well, that was a big meteor that wiped the dinosaurs out. For all we know, there was more DinoGems in our reality that we didn't find either.
Kira: As it is, we know of four he hasn't found here. Rainbow, brown, pink, and of course, green.
Tim: I know where I found the green one in our reality, but I think Dr. O hid it there, so it wouldn't help that much. But if you could find the green one, if there is a green one, you could try recruit my other self from this reality as back-up.
Hayley: And I'd need time to build a morpher for it. Which should take me, oh, three hours, tops.
Tim: Well, one thing is for sure, you guys needs more back-up.
Hayley: Yeah.

(Back at Mesogog's fortress, Zeltrax has turned on the Life Force Extractor. It starts draining Bruce.)

Conner: We've got to pick up the pace. Bruce may have tried to destroy us, but he's still my friend.

(Suddenly, Conner undergoes a sudden transformation. Without realizing it, he's tapped into Super Dino Mode.)

Ethan: Whoa. I hope I can do that, too.

(Conner starts fight through the crowd at a faster pace.)

Tommy: Ethan. go get Bruce.
Ethan: On it, Dr O.

(Ethan uses the path Conner has made to approach the Life Force Extractor. He summons his Tricera-Shield, and uses it to knock the Life Force Extractor away from Bruce. The beam hits Zeltrax.)

Zeltrax: Argh.

(Ethan unstraps Bruce. Meanwhile, Devin is leaving his house, carrying his school backpack. It seems like he's getting ready to leave Reefside.
Unfortunately, Mesogog sent a party to retrieve him, led by a new monster, made from a Venus Fly Trap and a lobster, called Clap Trap.)

Clap Trap: You're coming with us. Now. Or your best friend is history.
Devin: No, please get away. I don't want to turn into this White Ranger. I just want to go.
Clap Trap: Come with us, and we can rid you of that problem.
Devin: I.. I can't believe what you say. I wish I knew how to take this bracelet off, so I didn't black out and come this other person. But I know that you don't care either way about my problems.
Clap Trap: Mesogog thought you might say that. Gas him.

(A Tyrannodrone throws a canister of sleep gas at Devin. Devin starts to cough from the gas. But, before he passes out, he again gets a headache, and morphs. The White Ranger uses his super speed to make the gas dissipate.)

Clap Trap: Come with us, and we will help you rule this city.
WR: I am getting sick of this.

(The White Ranger says nothing else. Instead, he attacks mercilessly.)

Clap Trap: You'll find my shell is tough to crack.

(Clap Trap gets ready to clamp down on the White Ranger's right hand. Before Clap Trap can, the White Ranger glows, and goes into Super Dino, cutting him.)

Clap Trap: Ooh, that hurt. Now I'm boiling mad.

(The White Ranger again uses his speed, but since he's in Super Dino mode, his speed is twice as fast. He attacks again. Clap Trap is unable to defend himself in time. The attack is more than he can handle.)

Clap Trap: Looks like I'm about to be the main course at Red Lobster.

(Clap Trap explodes. The White Ranger goes out of Super Dino mode. He gets ready to leave, when his morpher beeps. He looks down at it.)

WR: Ah, a dino zord egg. Perfect.

(The White Ranger starts for its location. Back at Tommy's...)

Hayley: This isn't good.
Kira: What?
Hayley: It's Devin. He just had a fight with one of Mesogog's monsters.
Tim: He must've got provoked into it.
Hayley: Most likely.

(Another alarm sounds.)

Kira: Now what?
Hayley: That's Tommy's DinoZord egg locator. It's found one.
Tim: And I can guess which one it found.
Kira: The DragoZord egg.
Hayley: I'll check and see if Tommy can send any of the others to secure it.

(Unfortunately, the White Ranger has already arrived in its location, and is searching for it. Back at Mesogog's...)

Tommy: Zeltrax seems down for the count. How's Bruce?
Ethan: Out cold, but physically, he seems fine.
Tommy: OK. Conner, you grab Bruce. Ethan, get Cassidy. We're out of here.

(Tommy's communicator chirps.)

Tommy: Yeah, Hayley?
Hayley (v/o): We've got a location on another egg.
Tommy: I'll go find it. Conner and Ethan are on their way with Bruce and Cassidy.

(The Rangers leave through the same Invisa-Portal they used to arrive. They soon arrive back at Reefside High.)

Tommy: Take Cassidy home, and Bruce back to my place. I'm going to try and get that DinoEgg.
Conner: Be careful, Dr O.

(Conner and Ethan take Bruce and Cassidy out to Conner's car, while Tommy summons his Raptor Rider to go find the Dinozord Egg. Half an hour later, Conner and Ethan arrive back at the lab.)

Ethan: Bruce is upstairs until he wakes up. Easier than carrying him down here.
Hayley: I'll check him out when he wakes up.
Tim: One of you probably should've went with Dr. O.
Conner: Yeah, we both should have gone with him.

(Back in Gray Lake, another bolt of lightning strikes the building. The viewer starts glowing.)

Bruce: Ok, no one but Kira touch the remote. And no one touch Kira. We don't want anyone else being taken to her reality, if this even works.

(In Tommy's lab, a bright glow appears near Tim and Kira.)

Kira: What's going on?
Tim: I don't..

(The glow becomes brighter before Tim can finish his sentence, blinding everyone. When it dies down, only Kira is standing there. Back in Gray Lake, Kira and Tim are back in the place the alternate Kira was.)

Tim: .. know. (pauses) Okay, now I do.
Bruce: It worked. Welcome back, you two.
Tim: Yeah, it worked. Kira and I probably guessed that what happened had to be one of those glitches you were talking about.
Bruce: Yeah. Bob will send a "crew" over tomorrow to fix them.

(Bruce sends a text message to Oliver to let him know the lightning worked. And moments later, the storm ends.)

Kira: Dorothy was right. There's no place like home.
Ethan: Now that they're back, we can finish the reality watching without worrying.
Tim: Hopefully. Even though it was kind of interesting to actually experience it first hand.
Bruce: You're just lucky you didn't experience my counterpart's attacks first hand.

(The viewer switches to Tommy's location. He's holding a Fossil Finder.)

Tommy: Now, where's that egg?

(Elsewhere in that same location, the White Ranger has already found the egg, and is using his morpher on it. The Fossil Finder locks in on the egg.)

Tommy: Bingo.

(Tommy follows the signal toward the egg, and the White Ranger. Unfortunately for Tommy, the White Ranger's energy from his morpher is enough to make the egg hatch just as he arrives.)

Tommy: Aw man, I'm too late.

(What comes out of the egg, is of course the Dragozord. As it grows, it destroys the ceiling. The White Ranger jumps into the air to hitch a ride. Tommy rushes out of the way of the debris, dropping his Fossil Finder in his haste.)

Tommy: This is not going to be good.

(The Dragozord starts to fly off, with the White Ranger. Tommy heads back to his Raptor Rider. Back at the lab, Bruce comes downstairs.)

Conner: How you feeling, bro?
Bruce: Like my BrontoZord just ran over me. Uh, hey Kira.

(Kira says nothing, since she witnessed Bruce's change on the monitor, but is still not sure she can trust him.)

Hayley: You were subjected to Mesogog's Life Force Extractor.
Ethan: it was on you for a good two minutes.
Hayley: That much should have aged you, at least. I guess Tommy is right about you being a clone of the Crowmeowmes. I still want to examine you.
Bruce: Of course. Then I need to check on Cassidy. Make sure she's OK. Uh, where's that guy who helped me?
Hayley: He and his Kira went back home.
Bruce: Too bad. I wanted to thank him.
Ethan: I think we all didn't get a chance to thank him and his Kira. But I'm sure they know already.
Conner: (to Kira) So, what was it like? In that other place?
Kira: I didn't see much, other than their apartment. Conner, you were married and had a son. Bruce, you have a cute little daughter, presumably with Cassidy. She wasn't there. And there was this... thing that looked like Mesogog. It was with Trent.
Conner: Speaking of Mesogog, should we tell Trent that his dad is..
Kira: Yeah, I saw when Bruce told you guys that.
Hayley: I'll tell him when he comes in tomorrow. I don't know how Tommy will tell the school board about Randall being Elsa.

(It isn't much longer until Tommy arrives back at the lab.)

Tommy: I was too late. Devin has the Dragozord. (notices Kira, but no Tim) Judging from someone's absence, I take it this is our Kira?
Kira: Yeah, Dr O. It's great to be back.
Tommy: Welcome back. I think we might need all the help we can get, so it's a good thing you are back.
Kira: Yeah.
Hayley: Our friends told me about some other DinoGems that you haven't found yet. If they even exist here. Green, Brown, Pink and Rainbow.
Tommy: Having another Ranger or two would be helpful against Devin.
Ethan: Maybe we should try to help Devin take control instead of trying to think of ways to fight him?
Tommy: If he'll listen to any of us.
Bruce: Cassidy. He'll listen to her. She's his best friend. Come on, Conner, I need a ride into town.
Hayley: I haven't checked you out yet.
Bruce: I'm fine. I just need to talk to Cass. (thinking) If I can.
Ethan: So if you can't talk to her, shouldn't you have someone be there to talk to her as back-up? I mean, no offense, but Conner's not usually that good at talking.
Conner: Hey.
Bruce: Yeah, but neither you or Kira have a car here. And if it were Dr Oliver, she'd be asking questions.
Ethan: She's going to be asking questions anyway.
Bruce: I suppose so. Maybe I'll just call her for now, and try talking to her after we meet my family.
Ethan: Do you already have an idea what you're going to say to her?
Bruce: Uh, not really. To ask her to talk to Devin, Id need to tell her everything, most likely.
Conner: Sounds a bit risky, bro.
Bruce: Yeah. We could end up being the lead story on the next Reefside High news.
Ethan: What do you think, Kira?
Kira: I think if Cassidy really loves Bruce, she wouldn't make a story out of him. Or us.
Conner: Yeah, but can we really chance that?
Ethan: I think we should just let Bruce decide.
Bruce: It's the love Cassidy and I share that changed me. I hope it changed her, too.

(Bruce goes upstairs to call Cassidy. Meanwhile, the White Ranger arrives in the quarry with the Dragozord. As he lands, the Dragozord flies off, probably to find shelter. The White Ranger then holds his head, and demorphs back to Devin.)

Devin: (notices where he is) Not again..

(Twenty minutes pass. Bruce has called Cassidy and told her everything. And now, Cassidy is calling Devin. Devin gets ready to leave when he hears his cell phone ringing. He checks the caller ID, and sees its Cassidy. He doesn't answer, and instead forces it to go to voice mail. Cassidy leaves him a message, then calls Bruce back.)

Bruce; Cass?
Cassidy (v/o): He didn't answer. I left him a message to come to my house as soon as he can.
Bruce: Thanks for trying, beautiful. I'll see you at school.
Cassidy (v/o): You aren't coming back today?
Bruce: Nope. It turns out Dr Oliver knows my family.
Cassidy (v/o): That's wonderful. I'll see you Monday. I love you.
Bruce: I love you, too, Cass.

(Bruce heads back downstairs.)

Conner: I'm afraid to ask how it went.
Bruce: She left him a message. Either he has his phone turned off, or he's not talking to anyone, including his best friend.
Ethan: Sounds like he's just trying to get away from people, so he doesn't hurt them. What do you think, Dr. O?
Tommy: I think you're right, Ethan. We may need to try and find him, before Mesogog does. If we can talk to him without him feeling threatened, we might have a chance.
Ethan: Yeah.
Tommy: We should all get some sleep. After we introduce Bruce to his family, we'll go look for Devin.
Hayley: I can track his cell phone. Even if he isn't making calls, he probably still has it with him.
Tommy: Good idea. We'll all meet at Hayley's tomorrow at noon.

(Kira grabs the remote and fast forwards to the next day. The entire Crowmeowme family meeting Bruce for the first time at Hayley's.)

Ben: I don't know if I should call you little brother or big brother.
Bruce: Just brother will do. Nice to see I have such a big family.
Brian: Minutiaeian clans are like this.
Bob: Now, let's fill in that memory gap.

(Bob uses the memory encoder on Bruce, updating his memories and personality. Later, Bruce takes Brian and Bob on a tour of a certain area of Reefside.)

Bruce: And this is where the woman I love lives.
Brian: You're that serious about her?
Bruce: I am.

(Bob notices a house nearby is up for sale.)

Bob: Let me get you a present, to welcome you to the family.

(Bob makes a cash offer on the house.)

Bruce (v/o): So, I live closer to Cassidy instead of across from Dr O. Sounds like a trade-up to me.

(An hour later, as the rest of the Crowmeowmes head off, the Rangers return to Tommy's lab. Hayley is at the computer.)

Hayley: Looks like Devin's hiding out in the woods.
Tommy: We'll find him.

(In the woods, Devin seems to be heading out of town. However, as he's heading there, he runs into a place that looks all too familiar to the Rangers watching.)

Tim: (v/o) The meteor rock..
Bruce (v/o): Since I've got all my memories in this reality, I wonder how it will effect me?

(But the Rangers aren't the only ones looking for Devin. Cassidy is also out in the woods.)

Cassidy (thinking): From what Bruce told me, Devin's the evil anti-hero. Which means, he probably has a hide-out somewhere out here. If I can find him and talk to him, maybe that will help Bruce and the others.

(Devin continues to walk, until he notices the meteor. He gets ready to check it out. Cassidy sees Devin.)

Cassidy (thinking): There he is.

(Cassidy heads toward Devin, snapping a twig as she does. Devin turns in that direction. What he doesn't know is that something comes from the meteor that touches his back. The same thing that altered the personalities of the others in the original reality. Although, it doesn't seem to have effected him.. yet.)

Cassidy: Devin.
Devin: Cass.. Stay back, please.
Cassidy: Devin, I want to help you. You're my best friend.
Devin: No one can help me. It's best if I just go away.
Voice: That's not true, Devin.

(The Rangers have arrived.)

Bruce: Cass? What are you doing here?
Cassidy: Trying to help Devin. I thought you were meeting your family today?
Bruce: Already met them. I cant wait to tell you what they bought me.

(Devin grabs his head, like once before. But, he doesn't morph. Instead, he puts his hand down, and looks at the Rangers and Cassidy.)

Devin: Well, well. If it isn't the losers. And now you have the one that works for that Mesogog person with you. I guess that means someone switched sides.
Bruce: I did. Thanks to Cassidy.
Tommy: We can help you, Devin. We've got an idea on what causes you to morph.
Ethan: Uh, Dr O, he's acting like he does when he's morphed, but he isn't morphed. Something's odd.

(Energy from the meteor hits Cassidy and the others.)

Devin: There's no "Devin" here. I already explained that once before, old man.
Tommy: You're right, Ethan. Definitely odd.
Bruce: Get out of here, Cass. I don't want him hurting you.
Cassidy: OK.

(Cassidy runs. The meteor starts to take effect on her. Devin gets ready to do something, but he grabs his head. Instead, he morphs into the White Ranger.)

WR: You guys.. Where did Cassidy go?

(He looks at his hands, seeing the gloves.)

WR: Why am I..? No, I don't want any part of this.

(He starts to back away.)

Bruce: We want to help you. Devin. Something seems to have reversed your personalities.

(The energy begins effecting the Rangers as well, Conner, Kira and Ethan's changes are exactly as they were. Tommy reverts back to an earlier time in his life.)

Tommy: Jason? Kimberly? Billy? Zack? Trini? Where are you?

(As for Bruce, he begins speaking... in Minutiaeian.)

Bruce (translated): Devin, trust us. We're your friends.
Conner: Exactly what language is that you are verbalizing in, Bruce?

(Devin, who is now the White Ranger and not his other personality, gets ready to leave again, until he looks at the meteor. He sees it glowing.)

WR: I.. think I know what's wrong with all of us.. And it might be the answer I seek in becoming normal again.. Maybe..
Conner: Perhaps you could share that hypothesis with me?
Kira: Can we get out of here? There's too much dirt.
Ethan: I need to hit the gym, work on my pecs.
Tommy: Zordon, come in. Zordon? Alpha?
Bruce (translated): Dr O, Zordon was destroyed, five years ago.
Ethan: I cant understand a word he's saying.
WR: It's this meteor. I think it's altering us somehow.
Conner: Fascinating. We need to take a sample to Hayley for further analysis.
Tommy: Who's Hayley? Billy can analyze that.
Bruce (translated): Is there something wrong with me? No one is responding to me.
WR: Uh, why Hayley? (pauses) Never mind, just do it. But I'm not coming with you. It's too dangerous, especially if this other personality I apparently have starts to take over.
Conner: Well, if your hypothesis is correct, we will try to find you and help you.

(Conner uses his ThunderMax blaster to get a sample of the meteor.)

Conner: Come, my compatriots. Let us return to our headquarters.
Bruce (translated): What?
Ethan: Seriously, what the heck is Bruce saying?
WR: I'll try to stay here as long as I can. But I can't help it if my other personality takes over, and decides to go somewhere else.
Conner: Understood. I just wish I understood what Bruce was saying.

(Tommy tries to teleport away, but fails.)

Tommy: Aw man. Teleportation must be down. Need to get to Billy's so we can use the RadBug.
Conner: Just ambulate behind me, Dr Oliver.
Tommy: Me, a Doctor? No way.
Ethan: Why is Dr. Oliver talking like he's from ten years ago?
WR: I think it's the same reason why you're not yourself either, Ethan. Or Conner, or Kira.
Ethan: No way, dude. I'm definitely still myself.
Kira: Yeah, I'm the same me. Except for this dirt under my finger nails. Eww.

(Conner leads the others out of the woods and gets them back to Tommy's. Kira skips ahead a little bit.)

Hayley: I talked to Brian and Bob. They'll be sending a device to help Bruce. He seems to be speaking in Minutiaeian. Tommy's problem is that he's reverted to his earliest days as a Ranger. Thankfully, it's after he was freed from Rita's control.
Conner: And the rest of us?
Hayley: My best guess? These are your inner selves. Conner, you're studious. Ethan, more competitive, almost aggressive. And Kira, well, she seems fashion conscious.
Conner: Which also explains Devin's reversal of personalities. Wait, Cassidy was there too. I wonder how it will effect her?

(Soon, a small box is teleported into the lab. Inside is a translation device for Bruce. He hears English as Minutiaeian, but everyone else hears Minutiaeian as English.)

Conner: How are you feeling, Bruce?
Bruce: Perfectly fine, Conner. Good, I can understand you, now.
Conner: This meteor caused you to start speaking in Minutiaeian. Fascinating language. I'd like to study it.
Hayley: All of you should go home. I'll keep studying the meteor sample.

(With the exception of Tommy, the Rangers leave. Bruce spends his first night in his new house. The next day, there's a substitute teaching Tommy's class. After class...)

Bruce: Uh, who was that nerdy girl in Cassidy's spot?
Conner: I hypothesize that was Cassidy.
Bruce: No way. She doesn't wear glasses.
Ethan: Kind of looked like her to me.
Bruce: I suppose. I'm surprised she didn't talk to me before class.
Ethan: Any sign of Randall?
Conner: Not that I have observed. We seem safe, for now.
Ethan: If she shows up, we'll keep our eyes on her. She might try something since Dr O isn't here. And if she does? Wham!

(After Ethan speaks, he looks down the hall, and sees Tim, from that reality, at his locker. He's putting his books away, and there's a guitar hanging on the hook inside the locker.)

Ethan: Whoa. That looks like the guy who helped us.
Conner: It's obviously his counterpart from this reality.

(Kira is too busy looking at her nails, and walks right into Tim.)

Kira: Oops. Sorry.

(Tim just turns in her direction.)

Tim: It's, uh, no problem.
Bruce: You'll have to excuse her. She's not herself today.
Tim: You mean she doesn't always look this beautiful?
Bruce: Well, I don't know about that, but, she normally doesn't pay this much attention to her nails.
Tim: Oh.
Bruce: I'm Bruce, by the way. And that's Kira. (notices guitar) Once she's back to normal, you and her should get along well. She's a musician, too. She performs at Hayley's Cyberspace.
Tim: Cool, but that would have to wait until later. Got football practice. Nice meeting you guys.

(Tim leaves.)

Bruce (thinking): Once everyone's back to normal, I might have to make sure she meets him.

(Kira fast forwards to the end of the school day. The Rangers return to Tommy's lab.)

Hayley: Ok, I think I've harnessed this sample into a ray that could restore you to your normal selves. Unfortunately, it may only work once, without a bigger sample.
Bruce: I'll go get that. If it works.

(Hayley points what appears to be a flashlight at Tommy, and turns it on.)

Hayley: Well?
Tommy: Well what? Did you invent a new kind of flashlight.
Bruce: Sounds like he's back to normal.
Tommy: You'll have to fill me in.
Hayley: I will, while Bruce gets a bigger sample.
Bruce: My Spitter Steed and I are on the way.

(Bruce heads back into the woods. Devin is still there, and still morphed. Bruce arrives back at the meteor, and sees Devin.)

Bruce: Devin, Hayley has a way to reverse what this meteor did.
WR: That's great.. for you guys. But I guess it's not so great for me.
Bruce: Our theory is that when you feel threatened, you morph, without realizing it. We want to help you.
WR: Well, apparently that's not the reason why here. I'm "morphed" right now, aren't I?
Bruce: It's the meteor. It changes everyone's personality. Even Cassidy's. She's, well, she's a nerd.
WR: I know it's the meteor, Bruce. But what I'm saying is, you guys can reverse what happened to you guys. But for me, reversing it isn't going to help me. It's just going back to what it was before.
Bruce: I know. I wish there was something we could do to help you. You'd be a great asset against Mesogog.

(Bruce fires a blaster to get a bigger sample of the meteor. He unknowingly causes a crack that will eventually destroy the meteor.)

Bruce: If you ever change your mind and come back to Reefside, let Cass know.
WR: I don't know if I should come back.
Bruce: We'll find a way to cure you someday. I promise.

(Bruce heads back to the lab. As he does, someone else arrives. Rojobot.)

Rojobot: Um, excuse me, but, my master would like you to come with me.
WR: Uh, no thanks. I'm leaving town.

(The meteor quickly changes Rojobot.)

Rojobot: I'm not asking you. I'm telling you.

(Rojobot charges at the White Ranger. The White Ranger backs away. Obviously, Devin doesn't know what to do, since the other personality was controlling the powers. Rojobot fires a powerful stun blast. Suddenly, before the blast hits, the White Ranger demorphs, and Devin himself is nowhere to be seen.)

Trent (v/o): He probably used the chameleon power the DinoGem gave him.
Conner: Well, you're the expert on that Gem.

(Bruce returns to the lab, and gives Hayley the larger sample.)

Hayley: This should do.
Bruce: Enough for five more, I hope.
Ethan: Five?
Bruce: The four of us, and Cassidy.
Hayley: Yes, there should be enough for all of you and Cassidy. Possibly even Devin.
Bruce: He's not sure he wants to be cured.

(Hayley puts the meteor sample in the "flashlight". She uses it on Bruce first.)

Tommy: Well?

(Bruce removes the translator.)

Bruce: I'm back to normal.
Hayley: Alright.

(Hayley uses it on Conner, Kira and Ethan. Meanwhile, even though Devin himself wants to leave Reefside to protect his friends, his other personality has different goals. He arrives back in Reefside, still in control of Devin when he's not morphed. He's heading towards Cassidy's house. Cassidy, however, is at the library. But Bruce doesn't know that, and is on his way back to Cassidy's house as well, the "flashlight" in his possession. Devin arrives at Cassidy's. He gets ready to ring the doorbell, when he notices that no one is home. He starts to leave. Bruce shows up as he does.)

Bruce: Devin. I see you changed your mind.
Devin: I had no intention on leaving. After all, how can I help this city with its problems otherwise?
Bruce: I see you're still under the influence of the meteor. But I can fix that.

(Bruce gets the "flashlight" ready. If Devin starts to attack, he'll use it on him.)

Devin: You can't fix what isn't broken.

(Devin takes a step towards Bruce.)

Bruce: Actually, I can.

(Bruce turns the flashlight on. The "flashlight" shines on Devin, but unlike the others who appear to be changed back harmlessly, Devin starts to scream, as he grabs his head, falling down to his knees. Bruce quickly turns it off, and rushes over to Devin.)

Bruce: Devin, are you OK?

(Devin is trying to catch his breath. He looks up at Bruce.)

Devin: I.. I think so.. (pauses) I remember. I remember everything. Not just when the meteor changed me, but also when I was morphed before the change..
Bruce: Looks like Hayley's device did more than just reverse the effect of the meteor. It undid whatever evil was controlling you when you morphed.

(Cassidy walks up. She sees Bruce and Devin, and starts to hide behind a bush.)

Devin: I.. I guess so. (pauses) Did you hear something just now?

(Bruce turns around, and sees Cassidy finish ducking behind the bush.)

Bruce: Yeah. Wait here for a moment.

(Bruce sneaks up to the bush, and uses the "flashlight" on Cassidy.)

Cassidy: Huh? How'd I get here? Oh, Bruce. Wait, what am I wearing.
Bruce: Don't worry about that now, beautiful. Devin's back to normal.
Cassidy: That's great.

(Cassidy kisses Bruce, then walks over to Devin. Bruce just smiles.)

Bruce (thinking): Life is good.
Cassidy: Devin.

(Devin says nothing. He smirks, and grabs Cassidy.)

Devin: You're too easy to fool, Bruce.
Bruce: If you hurt her, I swear, my vengeance will be quick.
Cassidy: Devin, you obviously aren't yourself. So, let me go, and I wont have to fire you.
Devin: Why would I want a job like that, when I could be so much more? Besides, this is the new me, and I love it. I think I'll take Mesogog up on his offer to join him, and give you to Elsa. I hear that she thinks that you're really annoying.
Bruce: No, Devin. I'm their traitor. Take me instead.
Cassidy: Bruce, you'll give up your freedom to save me?
Bruce: That's what love is all about. Especially if you're a Crowmeowme.
Cassidy: Your family is the richest family in Saban County?
Bruce: Yeah.
Devin: Nah, it's so much more fitting to have it be Cassidy. And I don't know how you can say it's love. You've barely known her. I've known her since we were in kindergarten, but she never seen me as anything more than a friend. But that's the past.
Bruce: She helped me realize working for Mesogog was wrong. Who my real friends are.
Cassidy: Wait, Devin. Are you saying you love me?
Devin: What does that matter now?
Cassidy: Well, if you had told me before I met Bruce, it would have. Even if you had told me before you became evil, it might have gotten me to reconsider what Bruce and I did the other night. But if this is the new you, I could never love you. The Devin I know as a friend doesn't hurt people.
Devin: What you did..?

(Devin's expression changes.)

Devin: Well, it seems telling you now definitely didn't matter.

(Devin grabs Cassidy on her arm hard. He morphs himself into the White Ranger.)

Devin: We're going.

(Bruce's anger rises. He's seconds away from going Mega.)

Bruce: Devin, let her go, and I'll give you one million dollars. I'll do anything you want if you let her go.
Devin: You don't have the right to give demands here, Bruce. And the only thing I want.. is your Gem. And the others' Gems.
Bruce: Fine. I'll give it to you, once Cass is safe. I cant make that decision for the others.
Devin: Then you don't get her at all. Either I get the Gems first, or we have no deal. Think it over.

(Devin holds Cassidy, as he leaves with his super speed, taking her with him. Bruce's anger erupts. He goes Mega. But even that would not allow him to follow them. He heads to his new house and contacts the others.)

Conner: (v/o, through morpher) What's up, bro?
Bruce: I just made things worse. I used Hayley's device on Devin. Now, he's all bad. Morphed or unmorphed. And he's got Cass. He's taking her to Mesogog's.
Ethan: (v/o) That's all we need. Devin joining with Mesogog.
Kira: (v/o) We should probably meet at Dr. O's, and figure something out.
Bruce: I'll be there as soon as I calm down. He said he'll release her if we give him our Gems.
Tommy (v/o): Speaking of Gems, we just detected a new one. I'm going to try and find it.
Bruce: Ok, Dr O.

(As the Rangers plan on meeting at Dr. O's about Devin, he and Cassidy arrive in the rock quarry. Devin is still morphed.)

Cassidy: Devin, please. If you ever loved me as more than a friend, you'll let me go.
Devin: That's not going to happen. Not until I get what I want from Bruce and his new friends.
Cassidy: Then, you've lost any chance of me ever reconsidering my relationship with Bruce. And I've lost my best friend.
Devin: Don't toy with me, Cassidy. You've never considered me as nothing more than a servant to you. Even calling me a friend is laughable. All you've done for years now is push me to do this, and do that.
Cassidy: And I'm sorry I did that. If you were your old self, Id treat you as more of an equal.
Devin: Well, it's too late for that. Have you ever thought that the reason I had that split personality might have been because I was being torn in two, because of you? Maybe if I wasn't being treated the way I was with you, I might have these powers a lot differently.
Cassidy: I... I never thought of it that way. Then again, Bruce didn't tell me much about your problem.
Devin: Well, there's a shock. You never really think of anything. Most of the time, I'm the one that comes up with stuff, and you steal it. I never said anything, because I cared about you.
Cassidy: Devin, I'm... I'm sorry about that. I cant believe I've said that twice now. Please, reconsider this, and I might reconsider Bruce.
Devin: No. I'm not falling for your lies. We'll wait here, until Bruce gets back with the Gems. Or, Mesogog brings someone here.

(Meanwhile, Bruce has returned to Tommy's.)

Bruce: Oh, Kira, while you weren't yourself earlier today, someone thought you looked beautiful.
Ethan: I think that can wait until we figure out how to deal with Devin.
Conner: Yeah.
Bruce: Well, he might also be a perfect candidate for the new DinoGem Dr O's looking for.
Conner: Who is this guy you're talking about?
Bruce: A younger version of the guy who helped us when Kira was in his reality. And Kira, he had a guitar in his locker. So, you two have music in common.
Kira: Really?
Ethan: I think Hayley mentioned that if they ever find a Green Gem that Tim's counterpart from here could take it. That's what he told her, I think.
Bruce: Hopefully, Dr O is about to find the green DinoGem. And that would give us a secret weapon against Mesogog. And Devin. I cant speak for the rest of you, but if it gets Cass back safely, I'm willing to give up my DinoGem. That's how much I love her.
Ethan: I don't think we should make any decisions about that until Dr. O gets here.
Bruce: I know. I'm just worried about her.
Ethan: Maybe we can at least try to find her and Devin with the monitors.
Bruce: Yeah.

(Bruce sits down at the terminal and starts searching for them. It doesn't take long to find them. The monitors show that they're in the quarry.)

Bruce: They're at the quarry. I've got to go save Cass.
Conner: Not a good idea, dude. At least not by yourself.
Bruce: I wont be by myself. This is a family matter. I cant let you guys or Dr O do this. But I wont be the only Ranger.
Ethan: But it's not just a family matter.
Bruce: You're right. I'm thinking like a man in love, and not like part of a team. Sort of how Brian felt about our favorite teacher at one point.

(Speaking of, Tommy finally arrives back at the lab.)

Bruce: Did you find it?
Tommy: Yeah. I did.

(Tommy holds up a green DinoGem.)

Bruce: Now, we just need a Morpher for it. And I know the perfect candidate to use it.

(Bruce uses the computer to look up Tim's address. Meanwhile, back in the quarry..)

Devin: It seems that Bruce is taking his sweet time. I guess I'll just have to get the attention of Mesogog first, then.

(Unfortunately, he already has it. Elsa and Rojobot arrive, with a group of Tyrannodrones.)

Elsa: So, you've reconsidered Mesogog's offer?
Devin: Let's just say that, in the past, I wasn't entirely myself. Now that I am, I will join Mesogog. But on one condition.
Elsa: And that is?
Devin: I get to be his right hand.
Elsa: You'll have to talk to Zeltrax about that. If you can find him. After the other Rangers left, he just vanished.
Devin: Well then, that would mean there's already an opening for it.
Elsa: I suppose so. What about her?

(Elsa points her sword at Cassidy.)

Devin: She's here for two reasons. One reason is to be exchanged for the DinoGem's that the other Rangers carry. The other reason is, she's yours. As a gift.

(Elsa smiles evilly.)

Elsa: This time, we'll extract her life force, quickly and painfully.

(Cassidy faints.)

Devin: You can do that, but only extract most of it. Otherwise, I can't use her as the bargaining chip for the Gems.
Elsa: Very well. Come up here and accompany us back to the fortress.

(Meanwhile, behind Reefside High, Zeltrax is stumbling weakly towards a certain tree.)

Zeltrax (weak): Mesogog's research indicates this tree is above a life force spring. With that, I will be more powerful than ever. And I will make all the Rangers pay. And possibly Mesogog will bow before me.

(Nearby, Tim is practicing on his guitar, and he notices Zeltrax. He stops practicing, and sees the tree that Zeltrax is after. He starts to head over.)

Tim: Hey. You're that guy that works for that evil guy. The one the Power Rangers are fighting. You don't look so good, and I would guess that you're going to fix that with the tree.
Zeltrax (weak): That is no concern of yours. Stay out of this, and you might get to live.
Tim: You can't really fool me. You're too weak to really do anything to me. Besides, I'm not exactly defenseless.

(Zeltrax fires a blast from his sword. Because of his weakened state, his aim is way off. The blast goes over Tim's head by a foot.)

Tim: If you aimed lower, you might have hit me. Might. You better get going now, before that blast might get the Power Rangers over here. Because I'm sure that you wouldn't be able to fight them in your state right now.
Zeltrax (weak): Not without... getting what I need.

(Zeltrax inserts a needle deep into the tree, and starts draining it's sap.)

Tim: Okay, I guess you're not going to fall for the Power Rangers bluff, but maybe this will change your mind.

(Tim quickly does a perfect side kick into Zeltrax's side, trying to force him away from the tree. Tim's kick knocks Zeltrax away from the tree, but his needle is still draining the sap.)

Zeltrax (weak): You will pay for that once I utilize the sap I am collecting.

(Tim quickly uses a chop to knock the needle out of the tree.)

Tim: You're not doing anything. I'm sure the Power Rangers would be nice to have one less guy to fight, especially since I'm sure this will make you even stronger than you already were.
Zeltrax: No mere human can defeat me, even in my weakened state. Since I am not alone.

(Five Triptoids appear, surrounding Tim.)

Tim: I could probably defeat you, if you were alone. But that doesn't mean I can't still beat you.

(Tim starts attacking the Triptoids, showing some martial arts that Tommy would be proud of, even though he doesn't know as much as him. Zeltrax moves back towards the tree, ready to use the sap. Suddenly, he's cut off... by an arrow.)

Bruce: Sorry, Zeltrax. I don't know what that is, but of you want it, it cant be good.
Zeltrax: You again, Silver Ranger. I still owe you for denting my armor.
Bruce: I know a good blacksmith if you want that fixed. Or, just send me a bill. (Thinking) There's Tim. Hayley was right about him being here. And he's holding his own against those Triptoids.

(Tim takes down a Triptoid with a spinning back kick, knocking it into another one. He finishes his fighting by giving the last one a scissors kick. Bruce fires another arrow, forcing Zeltrax into an Invisa-Portal.)

Bruce: Not bad for a civilian.
Tim: I was taught some lessons where I used to live before I moved to Reefside.
Bruce: Well, with moves like those, you're just the man we're looking for.
Tim: I am? Why?
Bruce: We need another Ranger. And you seemed destined to fill this position. If I told you why, you'd never believe me.
Tim: Let me guess. You need another Ranger, because of those White Ranger reports on the news?
Bruce: Yes. And he has a hostage now.
Tim: So you want me to become a Ranger to help fight him and the evil guy on the news. The one that guy that just left used to work for.
Bruce: Yes, in a nutshell.
Tim: Sounds kind of weird, but I'll have to take a rain check. I was getting ready to head to Hayley's Cyberspace.
Bruce: So, that's more important than the safety of Reefside, and the fate of all humanity?
Tim: Well, it is when I'm supposed to be having a gig there. My musical talent is what I use as a part-time job.
Bruce: I think Hayley will make an exception in this case. And it could lead to bigger things for you.
Tim: Well, if I go with you and I lose any chance of getting anymore gigs in the city because of this..
Bruce: I assure you, you wont.
Tim: Okay then..

(Bruce leads Tim to the nearest secret entrance to the lab. Once inside...)

Bruce: You're now about to be trusted with my secret identity. And soon, you will learn the identities of the other Rangers as well.
Tim: I have a feeling I already know you.
Bruce: You do, sort of.

(Bruce powers down.)

Tim: I remember you. You and I talked at school.
Bruce: Yeah. Briefly. Now, follow me.

(Tim follows.)

Tim: Is that girl that bumped into me with you, then?
Bruce: She's one of us, yes.
Tim: Cool. Then I guess this all works out for now.
Bruce: In all sorts of ways.

(They soon arrive in the lab. Kira is working on one of her songs.)

Bruce: Welcome to our headquarters.
Tim: Looks very roomy in here.
Tommy: Welcome, Tim.
Tim: Dr. Oliver?
Tommy: Yeah, that's me. You've already met Bruce. There are your other future teammates. Conner, Ethan, and Kira.
Conner: Hey dude.
Ethan: Hi.

(Kira doesn't say anything. She's just staring at Tim, her mouth slightly opened.)

Tim: Hey.

(Tim looks in Kira's direction.)

Tommy: We'll have your DinoMorpher here momentarily. But first, you'll need this.

(Tommy holds up a box containing the Green DinoGem.)

Tim: A box?
Ethan: It has your DinoGem in it.
Tim: What's a DinoGem?
Ethan: It's what give you and the morpher the power for you to morph.
Tim: Oh.
Conner: And it'll give you an extra power you can use without morphing.

(Conner demonstrates his Tyranno-speed.)

Conner: Like that.
Tim: Whoa. So basically powers like on X-Men or something.
Ethan: You're a comic book geek?
Tim: Oh yeah.
Bruce: So, you're a comic geek like Ethan, a jock like Conner, and a musician like Kira. I don't suppose you've ever had amnesia?
Tim: Uh, not really, no.
Bruce: It was no fun not knowing who I was. Believe me.

(Hayley comes down the stairs.)

Hayley: I see he said yes.
Tim: Hayley too? Don't tell me that she's one of you guys.
Conner: No, she's just our techno-wizard.
Ethan: Like Q to James Bond.
Tim: No wonder Bruce said that she would make an exception.
Hayley: Yeah. You can play tomorrow. Maybe even join Kira's band?
Kira: Sure. We can always use another cute guy... I mean...
Bruce: Too late.
Tim: I don't want to steal any of your thunder, so I can go solo.
Kira: I wont mind.

(Kira just smiles at Tim. Hayley hands him his newly completed DinoMorpher.)

Tim: I guess that just means I need the Gem, right?
Tommy: Yeah. Just insert it into the Morpher.

(Tommy hands Tim the box with the DinoGem in it. Tim grabs the Gem inside. As he does, it glows, along with Tim's hand.)

Tim: Whoa. That's.. supposed to do that, right?
Ethan: Yeah, happened to all of us.
Tim: Okay then..

(Tim places the Gem into the morpher. As he does, the morpher automatically transforms into a bracelet holding the Gem.)

Tim: I guess it does that too, then.
Tommy: Yeah. Easier to explain at school. Now, we need a plan.
Bruce: Saving Cassidy is my top priority.
Tim: Cassidy? Cassidy Cornell? The Reefside High reporter? She's the hostage?
Bruce: And my girlfriend. But there's more. The White Ranger is her cameraman, Devin.
Tim: Why would he be doing that, then?
Ethan: He's not. It's not really him that's doing it.
Tommy: Something about his DinoGem is controlling him. Oh, and one of our enemies, Elsa, is Principal Randall.
Tim: No wonder she hasn't been seen in school for the past couple of days.
Tommy: Devin has said he'd return Cassidy if we surrender our DinoGems. Of course, he would only be expecting five Rangers. Not six.
Tim: So you're expecting to hit him with an element of surprise with me being there, to catch him off-guard.
Tommy: Exactly.
Tim: Isn't that a bit risky? I mean, if he doesn't fall for it, Cassidy would be in danger, right?
Tommy: Yes, that is a risk.
Bruce: And if even one hair on her sweet head is harmed, he'll be sorry.

(Bruce's hair changes slightly.)

Tim: Why is your hair changing color?
Tommy: That's Bruce's other secret. He's not exactly human. He's a clone of two aliens, who have been living on Earth for over 15,000 years.
Tim: Sounds like it would fit better in a comic book.
Ethan: I know. He gets any angrier, and he's practically a Super Saiyan.
Tim: Technically, that's from a manga, not a comic.
Ethan: They're still close enough.

(Back at Mesogog's fortress, Cassidy is once again strapped to the table under the Life Force Extractor.)

Elsa: Once she's awake, I turn it on, so she feels every excruciating moment.

(Devin, who is nearby, says nothing. He's still morphed, though. Zeltrax stumbles in, still weakened.)

Elsa: What happened to you?
Zeltrax (weak): The Silver Ranger and some civilian kept me from restoring my strength. I would not be here if the Silver Ranger had not forced me through an Invisa-Portal.
Elsa: When Mesogog finds out, you'll probably go down a few links on the chain of command.
Devin: Especially since he already lost his previous position.
Zeltrax: What is he doing here?
Elsa: He's finally agreed to join us.
Zeltrax: He can destroy all the Rangers except for the Silver and Black ones.
Devin: You don't get to decide any of that anymore.
Zeltrax: It's personal that I destroy them.

(Cassidy finally wakes up.)

Cassidy: Bruce? Bruce, where are you?
Elsa: He's not here. And you'll never see him again.

(Elsa turns on the Life Force Extractor. Cassidy begins screaming in pain. Devin goes silent again. He's looking at Cassidy. Cassidy looks towards him.)

Cassidy (in pain): Devin. Please. Help me. If there's any of the old you in there, help me.

(Devin tries to look away. When he does, he grabs his helmet.)

Zeltrax: Looks like he has no stomach for torture. He wont last long.

(Devin stops grabbing his helmet. In one swift motion, he kicks Zeltrax, then charges at Elsa.)

Elsa: What are you doing?

(Devin says nothing. Instead, he answers her question by pulling out his Drago Sword, and aiming it at Elsa's neck.)

Elsa: Traitor!
Devin: Turn it off. Now!

(Elsa turns off the Life Force Extractor. Cassidy isn't moving.)

Kitty (v/o): Is Mommy alright?
Bruce (v/o): Let's hope so, pumpkin.

(Devin spins the Drago Sword in his hand, and hits Elsa in the face with the handle to knock her out. Elsa hits the floor, turning back into Principal Randall as she does. Devin puts the Drago Sword away, and puts a gloved hand on Cassidy's cheek. After a moment, he picks her up in his arms, and leaves the room, heading for an invisa-portal. Back at Tommy's...)

Tommy: So, we pretend to surrender the DinoGems to Devin, while Tim here rescues Cassidy.

(One of the monitors in the lab shows that Devin and Cassidy arrive back in the rock quarry, through an invisa-portal. Cassidy is still unconscious.)

Hayley: Uh, you might need to change your plan. Look.
Bruce: Cassidy!

(Before any of the others can stop him, Bruce rushes out of the lab, morphing as he heads towards the Quarry.)

Tommy: Just like his brothers.
Tim: Then I guess we should follow him, right?
Conner: Yeah. For Devin's sake. I cant believe I just said that, considering he's been the one kicking our butts lately.

(The Rangers start to follow after Bruce. Back at the quarry..)

Devin: Cass. Cass, wake up, please..

(Cassidy doesn't respond. And moments later, an arrow whizzes past Devin.)

Bruce: Back away from her.

(Devin looks.)

Devin: Bruce, wait. It's me. I'm back to normal.
Bruce: Why don't I believe you? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

(Devin demorphs.)

Devin: If I was really still the way I was, would I power down right now?
Bruce: If you really wanted to make me believe you're back to normal, you would do anything. Except... take off your Morpher and throw it toward me.
Devin: I wish I could do that, but I have no idea how to get it off.
Bruce: Then, I don't know if I can believe you.

(The other Rangers arrive.)

Conner: Dude, did he do that to Cassidy?
Devin: No! I.. I didn't do it. Not directly..
Tommy: We should hear him out. He might be telling the truth.
Kira: I don't know. He's already tricked Bruce once. In the words of The Who, we wont get fooled again.
Conner: I love CSI Miami.

(Ethan shakes his head.)

Devin: I am telling the truth. I wish there was a way to show you.
Conner: I'm starting to believe him.

(Bruce powers down and leans over Cassidy.)

Bruce: Time to wake up, beautiful.

(Bruce kisses her. She starts to move.)

Cassidy: Oh, Bruce.

(Devin sighs, as he looks down.)

Cassidy: Devin? Did... did you save me?
Devin: I wouldn't call it saving, since it was my fault you were there in the first place..
Cassidy: But still, you got me out of there. I knew there was still good in you. Th... Th... Th...
Bruce: You mean Thank you?
Cassidy: Yeah, that's it.
Devin: My good never left.. Something was controlling me. My actions and my voice. It's like I was just watching what I was doing, helpless to stop it..
Tommy: We should let Hayley check out that Morpher to try and find out what it was.
Bruce: I need to get Cass checked out.
Devin: If you can figure out how to get it off, do it. I don't want to ever use it again.
Tommy: It sounds like the DinoGem has bonded to you. You may not have a choice. And if we cant get it off, Hayley can examine it while you're still wearing it.
Devin: So you're saying that I have to still use it?
Tommy: Yes. But if you're in control, you'll be a great asset to us.
Conner: Yeah, look how intensely you kicked our butts.

(Bruce stands up and then picks up Cassidy.)

Bruce: We'll be back in a few hours. I know a private medical facility that can make sure she's in perfect health.

(Bruce looks skyward. Devin sighs, as he looks at Tommy.)

Devin: Just see what's wrong with it.. But either way, I'm not using it again.

(Tim comes up. He was behind the others.)

Tim: I guess that means we have one less enemy to deal with.
Devin: Who are you? You weren't around last time.
Tommy: We recruited him to help fight you. Tim, Devin. Devin, Tim.

(Out of sight of the others, Bruce and Cassidy are teleported up to the Megaship.)

Tim: Not really a good starting sentence, Dr. Oliver.
Devin: Well, who can blame you guys..
Conner: I sure cant.
Tim: That's a little harsh.
Devin: No, it isn't. I wish I never found this stupid thing.

(Devin hits the bracelet on his left wrist where the Gem is.)

Tommy: If you weren't destined to find it, you wouldn't have found it. You didn't choose the Gem, the Gem chose you.
Tim: Did you read that off a fortune cookie or something? I mean, I didn't find the Gem you gave me.
Tommy: Yes, but it still bonded with you. If you weren't meant to use it, it wouldn't have done that.
Tim: But that has nothing to do with the first part.
Devin: It doesn't matter if this thing "bonded" with me or not. I don't want it. I'm not going to use it.
Tommy: That's your choice. But you'd be safer working with us than just ignoring it. As long as you have it, Mesogog will want it.
Devin: I don't care who wants it. They can have it.
Ethan: When Mesogog wants something, his method will be killing you to get the Gem. Right, Dr. O?
Tommy: Exactly. That's the only way to take a DinoGem once it's bonded with someone.

(Devin turns from them.)

Devin: Then maybe I'm better off that way.

(Devin starts to run away.)

Kira: Maybe Cassidy can talk some sense into him when she and Bruce get back?
Tim: If there's even a him to talk to.
Tommy: We can only hope Mesogog doesn't go after him just yet.
Kira (v/o): Let's skip ahead.

(Kira fast forwards a few hours. The others are at Hayley's when Bruce arrives. It's hard to read the look he has on his face. It's part worry, part excitement.)

Ethan: How's Cassidy?
Tim: I would guess that she's okay. I don't think he would be here if she wasn't. Right?
Bruce: Yeah, she's fine. Clean bill of health. And she's agreed to move in with me. DECA, that's Bart's computer, only found one problem. Cass was pregnant.
Ethan: Pregnant?
Conner: Wait, you don't mean that you and her..
Bruce: Yeah. The other night, before I "resigned" from my "old job", we slept together. But I said was, not is. (whispered) The Life Force Extractor, well, you probably get the idea of what it did.
Conner: Not really.
Tim: She lost the baby, right?
Bruce: Yeah. Now, Elsa's made it personal.
Ethan: What are you planning on doing?
Bruce: I don't know. I haven't thought about a course of action. I doubt the school board would take the word of one teacher and four or five students that she's really an evil she-villain in disguise. And violence is not the way of my people.
Tim: We could probably stage it so that her identity becomes public knowledge.
Bruce: We'd have to talk to Dr O about that.

(Cassidy walks in and sits down next to Bruce.)

Cassidy: All my stuff is packed.
Bruce: We'll move you in tonight.
Ethan: Hey Cassidy.
Conner: Uh, Bruce.. Does she know about.. you know what?
Bruce: Yeah. I told her everything while we were up there.
Conner: Great. Here comes us on the 4 o'clock news.
Ethan: You're a bit over-dramatic.
Cassidy: When Bruce told me everything, I promised him I wouldn't use that to further my career. You don't have to worry about that.
Conner: Fine.
Tim: Anyway, we should probably talk to Dr. Oliver.
Kira: And Cassidy, we need you to talk to Devin. The only way he'll be safe is if he works with us. But because of what he did under the influence of the evil in his Gem, he wont.
Cassidy: I've been wanting to talk to him about something anyway.
Ethan: The problem would be finding him before Mesogog does.
Cassidy: I'll try calling him, if that helps.
Ethan: You think that will help? Bruce said that you tried calling him before, and he didn't answer. He'll probably do the same thing.
Cassidy: It's the only thing I can do. If I had paid more attention, I would know where he likes to go to relax.
Tim: We can probably find him another way. I'm not an expert here, obviously, but before I joined, you guys could detect when the White Ranger was around, right? Not just when he was actually attacking.
Ethan: Yeah. I'm sure Dr O can track him by his DinoGem.
Tim: Let's get going, then.
Conner: You're starting to sound like you're becoming the leader.
Tim: Fine. Then you say that we go.
Bruce: Well, he does wear the red suit. But, genetically speaking, I've got more experience.
Conner: Let's just go.
Cassidy: Call me when you find him.
Bruce: Will do.

(Bruce and Cassidy kiss. Kira just looks at Tim. Tim looks at Kira as well. He gives her a small smile, before he turns away, and gets ready to leave. Later, at Tommy's...)

Tommy: Everything OK with Cassidy?
Bruce: Yes, and no. She's perfectly healthy. The only thing the Life Force Extractor did was delay my being a father.
Tommy: I'm sorry, Bruce. I've had some experience with losing an unborn child.
Conner: Huh?
Tommy: I'll explain later.
Ethan: We need to track down Devin, before Mesogog gets to him.
Tommy: I'm already on it.
Tim: So you're tracking his Gem?
Tommy: Yeah. Since his is the only DinoGem not in this room, it'll be easy to find.

(Meanwhile, Devin has gone to the park. He hopes to get Mesogog's attention at the lake. Unfortunately, he's not the only one in the park. Cassidy has also gone there, thinking about what might have been, had the baby lived. Devin spots here. He doesn't want to talk to her, and starts to leave to another part in the park. Cassidy sees Devin.)

Cassidy: Devin. Wait. We need to talk.

(Devin doesn't turn around to her.)

Devin: No, we don't need to talk.. You wouldn't have been in any danger if it wasn't for me.
Cassidy: That's not what I want to talk about. I want to talk about what you said to me. How you wanted to be more than friends.
Devin: That.. wasn't all me.
Cassidy: Devin, you should know, I... I was pregnant. But I lost the baby, because of that machine I was under.
Devin: So now I have even more of a reason to stay away. (pauses) I'm going to give myself up to Mesogog. I know he wants my Gem, and there's only one way for him to get it. Goodbye, Cass..
Cassidy: Goodbye? What do you mean?

(Before Devin can answer, Elsa shows up.)

Cassidy: You!
Elsa: Ooh, a news reporter. I'm so scared.
Cassidy: You killed my baby.
Devin: Mesogog wants my Gem, right?
Elsa: Yes, he does.
Devin: And I know the only real way for him to get it is for me to die. (pauses) I'm here to do that.
Elsa: Giving up without a fight? I'm not surprised. I just have to finish what I started earlier, first.

(Elsa aims her sword at Cassidy.)

Devin: No. Please. Take my Gem, but leave her alone..
Elsa: Sorry. This is too much fun not to do.
Cassidy: Devin, do something.

(Devin does something, by standing in front of Cassidy. He stretches his arms to be a shield for her.)

Elsa: How noble. And utterly useless. I can blast both of you and still take your Gem to Mesogog.
Devin: Why are you doing this? Cassidy has already suffered enough. Please.
Voice: Because she's that evil.

(The other Rangers have arrived. Tim remains hidden to keep his presence unknown to Elsa.)

Cassidy: Oh, Bruce.
Devin: You guys can protect Cassidy, then.. I'm still giving myself to Mesogog.
Tommy: Devin, if you do that, he'll just use your gem for evil. Join us, and use it to stop him. Use it to protect Cassidy, and everyone else in Reefside.

(Cassidy runs over to Bruce, and hugs him.)

Devin: No. I don't deserve to live after what I've done. This is the best way.
Cassidy: Devin, if this is really goodbye, there's one thing I need to do.

(Cassidy walks back over to Devin, and kisses him. Devin backs away from Cassidy.)

Devin: Why?
Cassidy: Just to see what it was like.
Devin: Great..

(Devin starts to walk towards Elsa. Elsa grabs Devin.)

Elsa: Too bad you'll never see her again. And neither will her boyfriend.

(Elsa fires a blast towards Cassidy.)

Devin: No!

(Devin knocks Elsa down, then runs into the path of the blast. Elsa just gets ready to collect Devin's DinoGem.)

Cassidy: Oh, Devin. Why'd you have to pick now to be the hero?

[The Samurai]

(Devin is lying on the ground. He looks dead, but when Elsa gets close, Devin starts to stir.)

Cassidy: He's still alive.
Elsa: Not for long. A few minutes under the Life Force Extractor will finish him off, and the Gem will be Mesogog's.

(Devin is forcing to get himself up.)

Devin: (weak) Even after I already.. given myself up.. You still insisted.. on.. killing her..
Bruce: All she succeeded in doing is making me angry.

(Bruce powers down.)

Bruce: You've already taken away my unborn child, and now you try to take the woman I love. Give me one good reason to let you walk away?
Elsa: Because you're one of the good guys. You don't destroy us.
Bruce: Who said anything about destroying you?

(Bruce goes Mega.)

Bruce: I just said you weren't going to walk away. More like crawl away on two broken legs.

(Devin stands up fully. His DinoGem is glowing.)

Devin: (weak) After witnessing this.. (gets stronger) I'm not going to die, until I finish this.

(Devin starts to yell, but not from pain. Instead, he morphs straight into Super Dino mode, and uses super speed to get in front of Elsa, and grabs her by the throat.)

Elsa (choking): Go ahead. Kill me. You're too weak to do it. And your friend here is too noble.
Devin: I don't have to kill you to beat you.

(Devin knocks Elsa into a tree. Elsa is out cold. Devin starts to walk towards her.)

Conner: She's down, dude.
Devin: No, she isn't. The last time I knocked her out, when I helped Cassidy escape from that Life Force Extractor thing, she turned into Principal Randall.
Cassidy: So, she's playing penguin?
Bruce: Possum, Cass. Playing possum. And Devin is probably right.
Devin: You can handle her now.

(Devin turns, like he's getting ready to leave. But when he does, he grabs his arm, and demorphs. He falls down to his knees.)

Cassidy: Devin!

(Bruce disarms Elsa, before rushing over to Devin's side.)

Devin: (weak) I guess I.. was going on adrenaline..

(Before Devin can say anything else, he passes out, falling face first into the ground.)

Tommy: We need to get him out of here. Check his Gem and Morpher. Bruce, Conner, pick him up.

(Bruce hands Elsa's sword to Kira, before he and Conner pick Devin up.)

Cassidy: Will he be alright?
Bruce: I'll call you as soon as we know. Now, get out of here before she wakes up.
Cassidy: I will. I love you, Bruce.
Bruce: I love you, too, Cass.

(The Rangers leave with Devin. Tim follows them, since he was in hiding. Kira walks next to Tim.)

Kira: I cant wait to hear you play at Hayley's.
Tim: Considering how things are right now, I guess it'll have to wait until things settle down.
Kira: At least you know Hayley will keep a slot open for you. I just have to make up excuses for my band.
Tim: I guess that's true.

(Later, at Tommy's...)

Tommy: I'll start by examining his DinoGem, to make sure it didn't have a reaction to Elsa's blast, then examine him.
Ethan: Dr. O, his Gem was glowing too. What exactly could that mean?
Tommy: I'm not sure, Ethan. But we'll know soon enough.

(Tommy begins his examination. Kira fast forwards through the examination.)

Tommy: Well, I couldn't find anything wrong with his DinoGem. My guess is, the glow was a reaction from the Gem to Elsa's blast, and it saved him from the full effect. Which is why he's still alive.
Tim: The only thing we really need to worry about is if he still wants to turn himself in to Mesogog after he wakes up.
Tommy: We'll worry about that when he wakes up,
Bruce: I'd better let Cass know he's going to be OK.

(Devin is just laying there, obviously still unconscious.)

Tim: Other than waiting for him to wake up, what else are we going to do?
Tommy: Do whatever you want. I'll let you know when he wakes up.
Ethan: Sweet. I'm going to see that new Egyptian exhibit at the museum.
Tim: Sounds cool, but I think I'll just stay here for now.
Kira: Me too.
Conner: I'm going to Hayley's. See if there's any babes to use the old McKnight charm on.

(Tim says nothing to Conner's comment, but he glances at Kira. Kira smiles at Tim. Bruce comes back downstairs.)

Bruce: OK, Cass knows he's going to be OK.
Tommy: Well, you can go spend some time with her if you like, Bruce. I've already told the others I'll let you know when Devin wakes up.
Bruce: OK, Dr O.
Conner: I'll give you a ride into town, bro.
Bruce: Thanks.

(Bruce and Conner leave. Ethan leaves right behind them.)

Tim: Maybe hearing some music will help Devin recover faster.
Kira: Good idea. My guitar is upstairs.
Tim: Unfortunately, neither of mine are here, so I'll just sing.
Kira: No problem.

(Kira runs upstairs to get her guitar. She returns with it a few minutes later.)

Tim: Dr. Oliver, do you have any requests?
Tommy: Not really. I need to make a phone call. If he starts moving, let me know right away.

(Tommy heads upstairs.)

Tim: Well, I know the perfect song, since from what I can understand, it fits Devin. It's kind of a sad song, though.
Kira: I'll follow your lead.

(Tim starts to sing. The song he is singing is what the Tim from the original reality sang in Hayley's that got Kira to finally notice him. Kira quickly picks up the melody.)

Kira (v/o): I remember that song. The first song you ever sang for me.
Tim: (v/o) Technically, my first song was "Hope for the World", but that wasn't really directed to you.
Kira (v/o): Yeah.
Tim: (v/o) My counterpart there must have figured that Devin has felt invisible for years to Cassidy, so he thought it would fit right for him.
Kira (v/o): Yeah.
Devin (v/o): I know how he feels. But all that matters now is that Cass is happy with Bruce. I mean, if she hadn't married him, Kitty wouldn't be here today.
Bruce (v/o): You're still her best friend, Dev.

(As the song starts to come to an end, Devin is starting to stir.)

Kira: I'll go get Dr O.

(Kira sets down her guitar and rushes upstairs. Devin opens his eyes. He sees Tim.)

Devin: Uh, hey.. Were you the one singing?
Tim: Yeah.

(Kira and Tommy come back downstairs.)

Tommy: How are you feeling, Devin?
Devin: Okay, I guess.. My arm still feels sore.
Tommy: That should feel better by tomorrow.
Devin: Oh.
Tim: Do you still feel like you should give yourself to Mesogog?
Devin: I don't know.
Tommy: If you really don't want to be a Ranger, I can try to find a way to un-bond you and the Gem. One that wont be as fatal as any of Mesogog's methods.
Devin: Can I think about it, first?
Tim: Well, you're still recovering, so I don't think there's a rush to make a decision yet.
Tommy: Yeah, take all the time you want. I'll let Conner, Ethan and Bruce know you're awake.

(Devin looks at Tim and Kira, and notices how close they're standing.)

Devin: Um, didn't you two just meet?
Tim: Sort of. I met her at school when she wasn't being herself once.
Kira: Besides, we've got a lot in common. Like music.
Tim: And now this Ranger duty stuff.
Devin: Oh.
Tim: By the way, when you heard me singing, that song was dedicated to you. I figured that you needed something to help you recover.
Tommy: Very thoughtful, Tim.
Tim: Well, singing can be used for cures. It's been known to happen.
Kira: As good as you sing, I cant wait to hear you play guitar.
Tim: That would have to wait until Hayley's sometime.
Kira: I know.
Tim: Well, considering that he's awake now, I think I'm going to check out that exhibit Ethan mentioned.
Devin: The Egyptian one?
Tim: Yeah.
Kira: I'll go with you.
Tim: Alright. Let's go, then.
Kira: See you later, Dr O.
Tommy: Bye, guys.

(Twenty minutes after they leave, Bruce arrives. But he's not alone.)

Bruce: I hope you don't mind, Dr O, but, Cass wanted to come. I figured it was OK, since she already knows everything.
Tommy: Sure. It's happened before, with some friends of mine, who eventually became Rangers.

(Cassidy rushes over to Devin and hugs him.)

Devin: Hey Cass..
Cassidy: I'm so glad you're alright. After all, you saved my life.
Devin: Well, it was my fault that you got caught up in it..
Cassidy: I don't blame you. Just like I don't blame Bruce, either. I guess that's a risk I'll have to take knowing your secrets.
Devin: But this had nothing to do with knowing my secret. I put you in danger.
Bruce: No more than I did. Other than what you did under the influence of the evil in the Gem.
Cassidy: It doesn't matter to me.
Devin: It doesn't matter that I almost killed you? I think it does..
Cassidy: You weren't yourself. If you're going to keep blaming yourself, then, maybe I need a new cameraman.
Devin: I'm not going to be your cameraman. Not anymore.
Cassidy: You aren't still going to surrender yourself, are you?
Devin: I don't know yet..
Cassidy: Well, if you ever did want to be more than just my friend, please, don't throw away your life like that. You would be a great Ranger.
Devin: Like I said, I don't know. Dr. Oliver was talking about possibly having a way to get my Gem off without me dying. But I haven't decided anything yet..
Tommy: Nothing for sure. I would need to run some simulations of possible methods.
Cassidy: Well, just don't do anything foolish.
Devin: I'm not going to run off in the middle of the night.
Cassidy: Well, don't get yourself killed, either.

(Suddenly...)

Ethan (v/o): Dr O, come in.
Tommy: What is it, Ethan?
Ethan (v/o): Trouble at the museum. Some Egyptian pharaoh came to life, and is chasing after Kira. Says he wants her to be his queen.
Tommy: Bruce and I will be right there. I'll contact Conner.

(While Tommy calls Conner, at the museum, Kira is doing her best to avoid an unwanted suitor. Namely, Tutenhawken. And there's too many other people nearby for her to morph.)

Tutenhawken: Come back here and be my queen.
Kira: Ethan, Tim, could you help me out here?
Ethan: How? He's flying. We're on the ground.

(Tim looks around the area, and sees that Tutenhawken is flying right near one of the pillars. He runs towards it, then does a wallrun up it, flips, then kicks Tutenhawken while on the way down.)

Tim: (v/o) Whoa. I could never do that.

(Tutenhawken is knocked to the ground.)

Tutenhawken: Fool. I am even more powerful on the ground.

(Tutenhawken sends a magical blast towards Kira. If it hits her, she will be under his control.)

Tim: Kira!

(Kira turns around, and takes the blast full on. She glows for a moment.)

Kira: Oh, my Pharaoh.
Ethan: That's not good.
Tim: Where are they?

(Kira walks to Tutenhawken.)

Tutenhawken: Come, my Queen. Let us be off, to find a suitable palace.

(Before they can leave, Tommy and Bruce arrive.)

Bruce: Who's the bird brain?
Tim: Tutenhawken.
Bruce: I think Brian and Bob encountered him, a few thousand years ago. And not in a good way.
Tim: Probably the same we're encountering him now.
Tutenhawken: Bow before us, servants.
Kira: Yes, bow. Or perish.
Tim: (thinking) Still doesn't look clear enough to morph. But I don't think I should be morphing anyway. Dr. Oliver still probably wants me as a surprise to fight Mesogog.

(Conner arrives, already morphed.)

Conner: Did I miss all the fun?
Bruce: It hasn't started yet.
Tim: He's got Kira under some sort of mind control.
Conner: Let's see if he'll free her after a beak full of Tyranno-Staff.

(Conner charges at Tutenhawken, but Kira gets in the way.)

Kira: You will not harm my Pharaoh.

(Kira unleashes a Ptera-Scream, which knocks Conner down. Tim starts to walk forward.)

Kira: Bow before us, servant. Now.
Tim: No. I won't bow.

(Tim starts to move closer to Kira.)

Kira: Then you will meet the same fate as he who dared attack us.
Tim: You're not yourself, Kira.
Kira: I am Tutenhawken's Queen. And you are a servant, lower than dirt.

(Tim is almost at arms length to Kira.)

Tim: Just a little while ago, you saw me quite differently.
Kira: What do you mean?
Tommy: Be careful, Tim.
Tim: You felt that I was something more, right? Because I know that I felt it too. I have felt it since the first time we met. And I'm not going to let this Tutenhawken guy destroy what you are, and what we might become.

(Kira starts to free herself from Tutenhawken's spell.)

Kira: Tim.

(Tim extends a hand to Kira. Kira takes his hand, but Tutenhawken touches her at the same time. His magic flows through Kira. Tim smiles to her. But right before he starts to relax, his face changes. He turns in the direction of the others, just as his eyes glow slightly.)

Bruce: Uh-oh.
Ethan: I think that's an understatement.
Tutenhawken: Destroy them.

(Tim seems to disappear, but then he reappears in front of Ethan, ready to strike, but his hand stops. It's starting to shake.)

Tim: (struggling) No..! I won't..! Let you.. control me..!

(Tim disappears again. This time, behind Tutenhawken, where he kicks him in the back. Tutenhawken is knocked down.)

Kira: My Pharaoh.

(Kira does another Ptera-Scream, this one aimed at Tim. Tim makes himself disappear before it can hit. He reappears behind Kira. He grabs her, then turns her around, and kisses her. Kira faints in Tim's arms. Tim holds her, as he disappears again, reappearing behind Tommy and Bruce.)

Tim: I'll take her back to the lab. I'm sure you guys can handle this guy.
Bruce: Yeah. Maybe I'll just picture him doing to Cass what he did to Kira, and give him a taste of real power.

(Right before Tim starts to carry Kira out, the White Ranger shows up. He appears in a blur, and comes clear right in front of Tutenhawken, where he fires laser arrows at him with his DragoSword.)

Bruce: What's Devin doing here?
Tommy: Maybe he changed his mind about not being a Ranger.

(The laser arrows pin Tutenhawken to a wall.)

Tutenhawken: You dare do this to me?
Devin: I'd do more, but I know about the legend of defeating you. Only the one that freed you can do that. And I didn't do it. (to the others) I've been thinking about what you said.. It would be better off if I didn't have these powers, but while I have them, I might as well make them useful.
Tommy: You made the right choice, Devin.
Ethan: Excuse me.

(Ethan leaves, returning a few moments later morphed.)

Ethan: Now, oh mighty Pharaoh, I'm sending you back to Osiris. ThunderMax Blaster.

(Ethan fires at Tutenhawken, destroying him.)

Tim: Now, to get Kira some place where she can wake up.
Tommy: There's a bench outside.

(Bruce walks over to Devin.)

Bruce: So, did Cass have any influence on your decision?
Devin: A little.

(Tim starts to carry Kira outside.)

Bruce: She had a lot to do with changing me from one of the bad guys. I guess that's why I love her
Devin: I guess.

(Conner finally gets back to his feet.)

Conner: Remind me never to get Kira mad at me. (sees Devin) You're on our side, right, dude?
Devin: I am until this Gem gets removed.
Conner: Great. Mesogog wont stand a chance against seven of us.

(Outside, on the bench, Kira starts to wake up.)

Tim: Hey. You alright?
Kira: Yeah. I am now. Did you kiss me?
Tim: Yeah. I'd be lying if I said that it was just to break you from the spell.
Kira: Too bad I don't remember it. Then again, it just gives you an excuse to kiss me again.
Tim: We'll wait until we can go on a date or something.
Kira: You're on.
Tim: Tutenhawken is taken care of. And I think Devin has decided to join us. He showed up and kept him at bay.
Kira: That's good. At least we don't have to worry about him attacking us.
Tim: Yeah.

(The rest of the Rangers come out of the museum.)

Tommy: Feeling Ok, Kira?
Kira: Like my old self, Dr O.
Devin: I wish it was that easy for me to go back to my old self.
Bruce: We'll find a way to help you.
Tommy: Bruce is right. If we can unbond you and your Gem without harming you, we will.
Devin: Yeah, that would be great, but that doesn't help with what I've done.
Tim: You need to get over that. It wasn't your fault at all. Mesogog is the reason why you were controlled by the Gem.
Bruce: Yeah. You don't see them blaming me for what I did when Mesogog was controlling me. And I don't blame myself, either.
Devin: Then you're just a stronger person than I will ever be. No wonder Cassidy would choose you over someone like me.
Bruce (thinking): He needs help with his self esteem.

(Suddenly, the sound of armored footsteps can be heard. Zeltrax stumbles into view.)

Zeltrax: This is too perfect. The Rangers and the fool who kept me from my prize.
Tim: Looks like he's back for more.
Conner: He looks like he can barely hold up his sword.
Zeltrax: You are correct, Red Ranger. But that will soon change.

(A Triptoid appears, handing Zeltrax a jar.)

Kira: What, you'll eat some spinach and then beat us?
Zeltrax: It's hardly spinach. This jar contains the sap I tried to obtain earlier.
Tim: No. We can't let him use that!
Zeltrax: You may have stopped me once, boy, but you wont be so lucky again.
Tommy: And what's to stop us from stopping you?
Zeltrax: Because, you wouldn't want these two to suffer.

(More Triptoids appear, with two prisoners. Hayley and Cassidy.)

Devin: Cass!

(Tim looks in Tommy's direction, wondering if he should reveal who he is yet.)

Bruce: Let them go, Zeltrax, or I'll do more than dent you.

(Tommy shakes his head to Tim.)

Tommy: So, you drink that sap, then let them go?
Zeltrax: After they watch your final defeat, yes. And you Rangers will watch what I do to your new friend first.
Tim: Look, I don't need to really be part of this. I stopped you once, but that was all. I obviously can't take you on, so just leave me out of this.

(Tim winks to the others, as he turns to leave.)

Zeltrax: Coward. It will be much easier to hunt him down after I finish you off.

(Tim leaves the area, but not far. He hides to watch what's going on. He'll wait until the perfect time to jump back in to help.)

Bruce: Before you fight us, can I have one last moment with the woman I love?
Zeltrax: Very well. One minute.

(The Triptoids release Cassidy. She runs over to Bruce.)

Cassidy: I wont let him do this to you.
Bruce (whispered) It's all taken care of. He wont win. (Aloud) Cass, since this is probably the last time we'll see each other, take my wallet. There's enough money inside to get yourself something nice to wear to my funeral.

(Bruce and Cassidy kiss.)

Cassidy: I love you, Bruce.
Bruce: I know, Cass.

(Cassidy takes Bruce's wallet, then walks over to Devin.)

Cassidy: I'll miss you, Devin. You've always been my best friend.
Devin: I wish I could take back what happened recently, but you've always been my best friend, too..
Cassidy: It's alright, Dev.

(Cassidy then kisses Devin, with almost as much passion as she kissed Bruce. Bruce raises an eyebrow. Devin is surprised at the kiss, but doesn't say anything about it. Suddenly, some blaster fire hits around the ground with the Triptoids holding Hayley, being careful not to hit her instead.)

Zeltrax: What?
Voice: Hi-yah!

(The Green Ranger appears in a flip, giving Zeltrax a kick in the chest. Zeltrax is knocked backwards.)

Zeltrax: Another Ranger? Impossible. Quickly, the sap.

(Bruce instantly goes Mega.)

Bruce: I don't think so.

(Bruce charges at the Triptoid with the sap. He knocks the jar, and the Triptoid skyward.)

Bruce: Now, Zeltrax, you get what's coming to you.
Green Ranger: Thundermax Blaster!

(The Green Ranger fires on the jar. The jar explodes, raining the sap down on nearby trees. Bruce is now standing over Zeltrax.)

Bruce: You've threatened my beloved for the last time.

(Bruce picks Zeltrax up with one hand, then punches him with the other. His suit starts sparking. The Green Ranger holsters his blaster, saying nothing.)

Devin: Bruce, you're not going to do what I think you are, are you?
Bruce: If I finish him off, Mesogog has one less warrior to serve him.
Cassidy: Bruce, you aren't a killer. I know you aren't. My heart tells me that. If you finish him off, then, you've finished us off as well.

(Bruce suddenly returns to normal, causing him to drop Zeltrax.)

Bruce: You're right, Cass. That isn't the Minutiaeian way. Or the Ranger way.
Devin: I don't think he can fight us much longer. Besides, I think Mesogog has pretty much cast him out, since he's been talking about fighting him too.
Zeltrax (weak): I can... still... do... this.

(Zeltrax fires a blast at Bruce, knocking him down.)

Cassidy: Bruce!

(The Green Ranger moves forward.)

Green Ranger: D-Rapier!

(A weapon materializes from his belt, similar to the others. He grabs it, and gets ready to attack Zeltrax.)

Zeltrax (Weak): Go ahead. Finish me off. At least... I took... the Silver Ranger... with me.

(The Green Ranger gets ready to strike, but instead lowers his weapon.)

Green Ranger: No. I'm not going to give you the pleasure.

(The Green Ranger turns his back on Zeltrax. Zeltrax just laughs, then drops his sword.)

Tommy: Get Bruce out of here. I'll take care of this.

(The Green Ranger gives a slight nod, before he leaves the scene. He heads for the lab before he demorphs, so that Mesogog or anyone working for him, doesn't see who he is. Devin helps to pick Bruce up.)

Hayley: Get him back to the lab. We might have to call his family.

(Conner helps Devin with Bruce. Cassidy just holds Bruce's hand. They start to leave, heading for the lab. Before they get too far, they hear an explosion.)

Ethan: Did Dr. O just..?
Devin: Sounded like it..
Hayley: He did what had to be done. Tommy told me about the old rules the Rangers followed, One of them was Do not escalate a battle if you can avoid it. I think Zeltrax's attack on Bruce escalated the battle far enough for Tommy.
Ethan: I guess so.

(The Rangers, Cassidy and Hayley continue to head for the lab. When they get there, they find the Green Ranger.)

Kira: That was some pretty sharp shooting, blasting Zeltrax's jar like that.

(The Green Ranger demorphs, and turns to them. Obviously, it's Tim.)

Tim: Good, because I wasn't sure if I was actually convincing or not. That was the first time I used anything like a blaster before.

(Conner and Devin put Bruce on the exam table. Cassidy has yet to let go of his hand. Devin moves a bit so that he's closer to Cassidy.)

Devin: He'll be alright, Cass.. I'm sure he will.
Cassidy: I hope so. Dev, the way he made me feel the other night, it was like we were the only people that mattered to either of us. We didn't care about the rest of the world.
Conner: Definitely, too much information.

(Devin says nothing, probably because he's taking that the wrong way, and just moves to another part of the lab. Tommy soon returns. The look on his face tells the others he regrets what he had to do.)

Tommy: How's Bruce?
Hayley: I don't know a thing about Minutiaeian biology. But, for a human, these readings are pretty weak. I would be surprised if he makes it until morning.

(Cassidy starts crying.)

Tommy: I'd better make a phone call.

(Devin has decided to sit in a corner by himself. Conner walks over to him.)

Conner: Dude, Cassidy needs a shoulder to cry on right now. You're the one closest to her.
Devin: You already heard what she said. When she's with him, no one else matters. Why should I get in the way? (pauses) I'm going home. Just call me when you guys need me to fight Mesogog, or if you have a way to get my Gem off.

(Devin starts to leave.)

Cassidy: Devin, wait.

(Cassidy follows Devin.)

Cassidy: Devin, I need you to help me be strong. If Bruce doesn't make it, I don't know what I'll do. But you can help me make all the right decisions.
Devin: No, you don't need me for that. I already told you before, I'm not going to be following the same "you lead, I follow" routine, Cass. That's over. I put up with it in the past, because I did care for you a lot more than just a friend. I'll still be your friend, but I'm not going to be around constantly, helping you with everything. And if you haven't noticed, I have my own problems to deal with.

(Devin just leaves before Cassidy can say anything else.)

Cassidy: Great, I think I've just lost my best friend.

(Cassidy goes back over to Bruce's side, resting her head on his chest.)

Tim: You call him a "best friend", but it seems to me like you have no idea how he's feeling right now.
Kira: Go easy on her, Tim. What's going on with Bruce is hard enough for her.
Tim: Just because Bruce might die, doesn't mean that she shouldn't be thinking about Devin's feelings.
Kira: I know. Maybe I should talk to her, girl to girl.
Tim: You could try.

(Tim heads over to where Tommy is.)

Tommy: Ok, Brian. We'll see you in an hour.

(Tommy hangs up the phone.)

Tommy: Bruce's family is on the way.
Tim: I hope you're not upset with my decision to morph. But I was real careful in not having myself be seen.
Tommy: No, you did what was needed, without revealing yourself as a Ranger.
Tim: Now, Mesogog may know that I exist, but he won't know it's me. So we have that advantage still.
Tommy: Yeah.

(Kira and Cassidy head upstairs for some girl talk.)

Tim: Devin's run off. I think he's going home. He told us to contact him if there's any news about his Gem, or about Mesogog.
Tommy: I've got the simulations running. If we can unbond him safely, this will tell us. But, I've got a feeling nothing will be that easy.
Tim: Kira's also going to talk to Cassidy. I don't think she knows what Devin is really feeling right now. I don't even know him that much myself, but I know that he's hurting about what happened, and he just wants out, but has no choice right now. I think that she might be thinking that since he's back to being normal, and not controlled by the Gem, that he would just go back to his old routine with her.
Tommy: I think he wants more than what he had with her before. I was in his shoes once. And Bruce would be filling the same role one of his brothers did at that time.
Tim: Maybe, but I know that he wouldn't want to destroy what she has with Bruce. Just a minute ago, before he left, Cassidy asked him to help her with making decisions if Bruce doesn't make it, since she wouldn't know what to do. Devin kind of blew up in her face about it, but I can understand why he would do that.
Tommy: After all he's been through since he found his DinoGem, I can understand that, too. He and Bruce aren't the only Rangers who started off working for the bad guys, you know.
Tim: Actually, I, uh, don't. I mean, I know that you were probably a Power Ranger in the past, but I haven't heard that much about it yet.
Tommy: Maybe you should watch my diary while we're waiting on Bruce's family.
Tim: Alright.

(Tommy brings up his video diary for Tim to watch. Kira fast forwards. She stops as Kira and Cassidy finish their talk.)

Cassidy: I understand. Thanks, Kira. As soon as I know how Bruce is, I'll go over and see Devin.

(Cassidy wont have long to wait, as the Crowmeowmes arrive.)

Brian: Kira, right?
Kira: Yeah. Bruce is downstairs. Oh, and this is Cassidy. She's Bruce's girlfriend.
Bob: Exactly as he described you.
Cassidy: Wow, I meeting one of the richest families in California. But, Bruce comes first.

(Everyone heads downstairs. Tim has just finished watching the diary just before they come downstairs.)

Tim: They got here fast.
Tommy: They could have taken some unconventional methods of travel.
Brian: How is he, Tommy?
Tommy: We cant be sure. If he was human, he's pretty weak.

(Bob begins examining Bruce.)

Tim: If Zeltrax wasn't already destroyed, I'd say that we should do something.
Conner: Yeah.

(A few minutes pass.)

Bob: Well, Bruce seems to be in a healing coma.
Cassidy: A coma? For how long?
Bob: I'm not certain. Those are rare among Minutiaeians. They can last anywhere from a few days to several years. He'll wake up when his body is back at 100%.
Tim: Unfortunately, we might not have several years, if we can't stop Mesogog.
Bart: DECA might be able to speed up the healing process.
Bob: I suppose so. We'll take Bruce up to the Megaship, and let you know once we have an estimate. Cassidy, are you coming with him?
Cassidy: I would, but, there's something else I have to do down here.
Tommy: We'll call you once they call us.
Cassidy: Thank you, Dr Oliver.

(Cassidy leaves, heading for Devin's. At Devin's, he's just sitting in his room, looking at a photo album he made. One that has himself and Cassidy doing various things. Mainly when they were younger. Cassidy soon arrives, and rings the doorbell.)

Cassidy (thinking): I hope he's here.

(Devin closes the book, and carries it with him. He heads to the door to answer it, since he's the only one there. Cassidy pulls out her ever present mirror while waiting for someone to answer the door.)

Cassidy: I hope I don't get worry lines.

(Devin reaches the door and opens it. He spots Cassidy.)

Devin: What are you doing here?
Cassidy: Because, we need to talk. When I said at Dr Oliver's, about Bruce and I not caring about anyone else? That was just when we were... well, you know. You're still my best friend. And I don't need you to make decisions for me. I need you to give me the strength to make the right ones.
Devin: You don't need me for that either.

(Devin gets ready to close the door. Cassidy should see that Devin is holding the photo album in his other hand when he does.)

Cassidy: Is that what I think it is? All those old pictures of us?
Devin: Yeah.. I was thinking about getting rid of it.
Cassidy: Why? I still want you in my life, Devin. Especially now. Bruce... he's in a coma. Even is family doesn't know when he'll wake up. I need a shoulder to cry on.
Devin: Go cry on someone else's shoulder. We're not best friends anymore. I know that now. I don't think we've been that way since the last time we made a photo together for this album, and that wasn't since elementary school. You've just been keeping me around because you needed a cameraman nowadays.
Cassidy: I'm... I'm... I'm sorry. There, I said it. I never realized that's how you felt.
Devin: You saying sorry isn't going to cut it, even if it is the first time you've said it since elementary school. My feelings aren't a game, Cass. We used to talk about everything, and we don't anymore. Most of the time we've ever talked since then is when you needed me for something.
Cassidy: Fine. Talk. Tell me everything. The only thing I need right now is a friend.
Devin: It's too late for that, Cass.. Especially now.

(Devin gets ready to close the door again.)

Cassidy: Please, Devin. I'll do whatever it takes to save our friendship.
Devin: You don't need me around anymore. You've got Bruce.

(Devin just closes the door. Cassidy starts to leave, but doesn't get very far. She's surrounded, not by Tyrannodrones, but by Cogs.)

Cassidy: What are you? Devin! Devin, help!

(Inside Devin's house, he hears Cassidy, but doesn't act yet. He sighs, and looks at the photo album in his hand. He holds the album tightly for a second, before he sets it down, then exits the house. One of the Cogs sees Devin, and starts firing at him, as Gasket and Archerina arrive.)

Gasket: She is the one our King desires. Be careful with her.

(Devin rolls out of the way, then uses his DinoGem, making himself vanish.)

Archerina: The Cog vaporized him.
Gasket: Not that it matters. He couldn't stop us.
Cassidy: Vaporized? No.

(Cassidy starts crying.)

Cassidy: You killed him.

(Suddenly, a Cog gets knocked over into another Cog.)

Gasket: What's going on?
Archerina: Must be a malfunction. We need to get her to the Skybase before any more of them malfunction.

(Another Cog gets knocked over, but this time, it just hits the pavement, like it was attacked. Then something grabs Cassidy.)

Cassidy: Who's there?

(Devin makes himself visible.)

Devin: Go, Cass. Get out of here.
Cassidy: I will.

(Cassidy kisses Devin, before she starts running. Devin sighs to himself, as he turns to Gasket and Archerina.)

Devin: I don't know who you are, but you're not getting Cassidy.
Gasket: Our King wishes for her to have his children. But, if he cannot have her, no one will.

(Archerina fires an arrow at Cassidy. If it hits, she wont be dead, but in a death-like state, which only another of Archerina's arrows can wake her from.)

Devin: No!

(Devin tries to reach her before the arrow makes contact. The arrow strikes Cassidy. She drops to the ground.)

Devin: Cass! No!

(Devin reaches her, as he kneels down. He looks back in the direction of Gasket and Archerina.)

Devin: You.. You'll pay for this..
Gasket: If you can find us, human.

(Gasket and Archerina teleport back to the Skybase. Devin looks back to Cassidy. He doesn't know what to do or say, so he just tries to use his morpher to contact the others.)

Tommy (v/o): Go ahead, Devin.
Devin: Cass has been.. shot. Someone showed up intending to take her to their king..
Tommy (v/o): King? They weren't robots, were they?
Devin: Yeah.. I guess you know them already?
Tommy (v/o): Yeah. I had some run ins with them. Get her back here. If you need help, I'll send Conner.
Devin: No, I.. I can do it myself..

(Devin looks at Cassidy, before he picks her up, then starts to head for the lab. By the time Devin arrives with Cassidy, Tommy is at the computer, reviewing old footage of the Machine Empire. Devin arrives, heading downstairs, carrying Cassidy. He places her in the same spot Bruce was laying earlier.)

Tommy: Are these the robots that attacked?

(The monitor shows a group of Cogs.)

Devin: Yeah, it was..
Tommy: The Machine Empire. I first fought them when I was a Zeo Ranger. My last encounter with them was two years ago, on the moon. And the worst part is, they have an evil twin... of me.
Devin: So you're saying that your twin is their king, and they wanted Cassidy for him..?
Tommy: Yeah. He, uh, he likes female company.
Devin: Oh.

(Devin looks at Cassidy.)

Tommy: What was she shot with?
Devin: An arrow.
Tommy: Archerina. There might be a chance she's still alive.
Devin: How?
Tommy: Before they made their evil twin of me, I was brainwashed into being their king. I still remember some of their secrets. Archerina has an arrow which simulates death, and another which restores the victims of that arrow to life.
Devin: So they're planning on having us think that she's dead, then they'd get the body later, and revive her.
Tommy: Most likely. But, Bruce's family has a theory. Anything can be overcome by true love. If we cant get the arrow that will wake her up, that might do the trick.
Devin: Oh. Then I guess we just have to wait for Bruce, then..
Tommy: Maybe. Maybe not. Have you tried kissing her, Devin?
Devin: I.. don't think it'll work if I do it. She doesn't feel the same way as I do.
Tommy: You never know. Just try it.
Devin: Okay.. Can I have some privacy, then?
Tommy: Sure.

(Tommy and the others leave Devin alone with Cassidy. Devin looks at Cassidy. He sighs. He then leans down, and kisses Cassidy. Cassidy starts to move.)

Devin: Cass..?
Cassidy: Devin? What happened? The last thing I remember was running.
Devin: It's.. nothing to worry about..

(Devin moves away from her, to get the others.)

Cassidy: Devin, don't leave. I don't know why, but, I'm having second thoughts about Bruce. Like, I only love him for his money.
Devin: That's not what you've said before.
Cassidy: Maybe I was wrong.
Devin: No, you're just being confused right now, because of what happened.
Cassidy: Devin, I... I love you.
Bruce (v/o): Maybe Archerina's arrow also had a love potion? This arrow would wake her up when someone kissed her, not with the antidote arrow.
Conner (v/o): Sounds like you just want your happy ending, bro. Let's see how it plays out.
Devin: No, you don't. Like I said, you must be confused. Bruce is in a coma, then you were attacked. It's probably just hard on you, I guess. Let me go get the others.

(Devin leaves the room. He arrives where the others are.)

Devin: It worked. She's awake, but.. Don't tell her what happened, or how she woke up. I figured it's better this way.

(Devin gets ready to leave to go home.)

Conner: Dude, you're part of this team. You go home, you never know when Mesogog will show up and try to take your Gem.
Devin: At least I'm not doing it recklessly.
Ethan: No, but you don't stand a chance by yourself.

(An alarm can be heard from down in the lab.)

Tommy: That's not good.

(Devin gets ready to leave again, but decides not to yet, and just follows them down into the lab. When they get down there, Cassidy is missing. On the table, is a note.)

Devin: Where did Cass go?
Tim: I have a feeling that note will tell us.

(Tommy reads it.)

Tommy (reading): Thanks for waking her up. I'll send wedding pictures. King Tommy.
Devin: How did he get in here?
Tim: I doubt he got in here at all. Probably just teleported her or something after she woke up.
Tommy: Most likely. We're going to need help to get her back.
Tim: Former Rangers?
Tommy: Not quite former.
Conner: Bruce's cousin. He's got a ship.
Tommy: Where Bruce is healing right now. Luckily, I know someone with a similar ship.
Devin: Who would that be?
Tim: The Space Rangers, right? I know they still have their powers, after watching your diary.
Tommy: Exactly.

(Tommy places a call, to Andros. Ten minutes later, Andros teleports in.)

Andros: So, the Machine Empire again?
Tommy: Yeah. My cybernetic doppelganger.
Devin: If Cass was here, I know she'd flip in meeting you. She'd probably want an exclusive interview, or something.
Tommy: Let's rescue her first. Devin, I know you'll want to come on this mission. Who else?
Tim: I'll stay behind. Mainly because some of us has to.
Kira: I'll keep you company.
Ethan: Miss a chance to be on a real spaceship? How can I say no?
Conner: I'll stay here. Better than listening to Ethan geek out.
Devin: Then I guess it's just me, Ethan, and Dr. O, coming?
Tommy: I guess we're ready then.
Andros: Bring us up, Alpha.

(Andros, Tommy, Devin and Ethan are teleported to the Megaship Mark II. Devin looks around.)

Devin: This is another thing that Cass would love. When we rescue her, we should give her a tour.
Alpha: Nice to see you again, Tommy.
Tommy: Hey Alpha. Devin, Ethan, meet Alpha 7.
Ethan: A robot? This is so cool.
Devin: Was he the one that was helping you fight the Machine Empire last time, Dr. O?
Tommy: Yeah. The third Alpha I've worked with.
Andros: We'll be at the Machine Skybase in three minutes.
Devin: Great.

(Three minutes later...)

Andros: Alright, we're not quite docked, but the ship wont be going anywhere. We can teleport over, but we don't know where she'll be.
Devin: Unless you have some better idea, I think we'll just have to guess, and teleport over.
Ethan: If this is a Machine Empire, couldn't we just find a human life form, and teleport close to it.
Tommy: Good thinking, Ethan.
Andros: I am picking up two life forms. One at the center of the Skybase, one, closer to the outside.
Devin: I guess that means we have to split up.
Tommy: Alright. Devin, you and I will check the closer reading. Andros and Ethan will go for the one in the center.
Devin: Wait, what are we going to do to get out afterwards?
Andros: Alpha will bring us back when we signal him.
Devin: Alright.

(The two groups are teleported over to the Skybase. Tommy and Devin find themselves outside of a door. Crying can be heard from the other side.)

Devin: Dr. O.
Tommy: I hear it. Let's get this door open.

(Tommy starts feeling around for a switch. The door opens. Devin heads into the door as it opens. Cassidy is sitting on a bed, her back to the door. She's the one crying. Devin starts to walk forward.)

Devin: Cass?
Cassidy: Devin? Oh good, you're here. Not soon enough, though.
Devin: What do you mean?

(Cassidy stands up and turns around. King Tommy used his favorite toy on her. Devin goes speechless for a moment. But then he quickly moves close to Cassidy, and grabs the sheet from the bed to cover her.)

Cassidy: I want to be back to normal, Devin. Hold me, if you can.
Devin: We'll fix it, Cass, don't worry.
Cassidy: You cant fix the other thing he did to me. He... he made me sleep with him.

(Devin goes quiet. He turns, and starts for the door.)

Cassidy: Where are you going? Devin, I just want to go home.

(Devin says nothing. He goes into the hallway.)

Devin: Dr. O, Cassidy's been.. changed. And your mechanical counterpart..

(Devin clenches his fists.)

Devin: I'm going after him. Please take care of her.
Tommy: Don't let your anger cause you to make mistakes, Devin.
Devin: I'm not going just because of anger. I'm sure he has what can change her back. I'll get it from him, one way or another.
Tommy: Just don't do anything stupid.

(In the throne room, Cogs have captured Andros and Ethan.)

KT: If you came here to rescue my new Queen, you shouldn't have bothered. We're already married, by the laws of the Machine Empire.
Andros: Which means...?
KT: My law, of course.

(Back with Devin and Tommy..)

Devin: Just get her back to the Megaship, please.

(Devin starts to go down a hallway, looking for where "King" Tommy is.)

Tommy: I will.

(As Devin walks down the hallway, he runs into some patrolling Cogs. He uses his DinoGem ability to become invisible, then takes care of all but one of them. The last one sends an alarm, which goes to the throne room.)

KT: An alarm. So, the two of you didn't come alone. Gasket, Archerina. Stop the other intruder, or intruders.
Gasket: Yes, my King.

(Gasket and Archerina leave the throne room. Not that long after Gasket and Archerina leave does the doors open, and Gasket and Archerina are knocked back inside, with Devin coming in, already morphed, and in Super Dino mode.)

KT: I should have expected you two to fail. So, you are here for my lovely new Queen?
Devin: I'm here for the device you used on her. After that, I'm also here to make sure you don't use it again.
KT: So, you've seen my handiwork. Well, that happens to be built into my arm.
Devin: I guess I'll have to tear your arm out, then.
KT: Maybe you'd like to meet my other guest first?

(A door opens, and Tori walks through. Not only has King Tommy used the laser, he's also hypnotized her.)

KT: Now, my lovely Ninja. Stop him.

(Devin uses his super speed, and thanks to his Super Dino mode, it's faster than normal. He seems to be faster than Tori would be, despite her being a ninja. Devin has gotten right beside "King" Tommy, and has grabbed his arm.)

KT: Rip my arm off, and nothing will be able to power my laser.
Devin: Then it seems like you're coming with us for the moment.
KT: I give the orders on this skybase. I am the King!
Devin: Tell your "ninja" to back off.
KT: Stand down, babe.

(Tori backs up.)

Devin: Let's get out of here. Once we have you change her back, I'll let you go.
Ethan: Uh, what about us? These tin cans don't seem to be letting us go.
Devin: You heard him.
KT: Cogs, let the prisoners go.

(The Cogs release Ethan and Andros.)

Devin: Now tell everyone under you to back off, and let us through. You have my word that I'll keep my end of the deal, if you do what I say.
Ethan: You know, Dev, she was a Ranger. I saw her in Dr O's diary. She taught Conner's brother. We should probably free her, too.
KT: I'm only freeing one babe today. I keep her, or I keep the one I've already married.
Devin: Then keep her, for now. But I wouldn't be surprised if you have another visitor from her team coming for you later. (pauses) Let's go.
Andros: Alpha, bring us back. We're bringing a guest.

(Andros, Ethan, Devin and King Tommy are teleported over to the Megaship.)

KT: Oh, him.
Tommy: Yeah. Me.
Devin: Now, change her back. And no funny business.
KT: Fine.

(King Tommy fires his laser at Cassidy. She returns to normal, under the sheet.)

Cassidy: Oh, I feel better.

(Cassidy walks over to King Tommy, and slaps him.)

Cassidy: Ow.

(Devin says nothing. He grabs King Tommy by the arm with the laser.)

Devin: Now, here's the end of our deal. Don't look, Cass.

(Devin gets ready to pull King Tommy's arm out of its socket.)

Tommy: No, Devin. Just let him go.
Cassidy: Listen to Dr Oliver, Devin. For me.
Devin: No. He has to pay for what he did. Otherwise, he'll just do it again, and he'll keep doing it.
Andros: Oh, he will. I'll have Alpha place a call. His other guest is married. Her husband will deal with him.

(Devin lets King Tommy go, reluctantly. He demorphs, then slams a fist into a nearby wall.)

Andros: Alpha, get rid of the trash.

(King Tommy is teleported back to the Skybase. Devin looks at Cassidy for a second, before he turns, and walks out of the room. Cassidy goes after him.)

Cassidy: Devin, wait.

(Devin didn't go far. He's standing near a view port, looking outside, and leaning against the rail.)

Cassidy: Devin, thank you for saving me. After what he did to me, I... I don't want to be alone tonight.
Devin: You won't be. We'll be home soon, and you can be with Bruce.

(Devin looks away a bit.)

Cassidy: He's out of his coma?
Devin: I didn't say that. But you won't be alone.
Cassidy: I want you to stay with me tonight.
Devin: Cass, don't be thinking of doing something you're going to regret later..
Cassidy: Fine. Then I want to go over to Bruce's cousin's ship. I'll stay there until Bruce wakes up.
Devin: Then don't talk to me about it.

(Devin turns, and walks away. He walks further down the hallway, and heads around the corner. Cassidy starts crying.)

Cassidy (silently): Bruce, I hope you're awake. I need to know someone loves me.

(Sometime later, Devin has arrived in the Simu-Deck from just walking around. He walks inside the room.)

Devin: Not much of a room.
Computer Voice: The Simu-Deck can be programmed to replicate any environment.
Devin: I guess you must be DECA.
DECA: DECA Mark II, to be specific.
Devin: How does the controls work, then? Are they voice-activated, or something?
DECA: They can respond to voice commands.
Devin: Okay then.. If you don't mind, I'd like to try it out.
DECA: I have accessed records from Dr Oliver's mainframe. Perhaps this will work as a demonstration.

(The Simu-Deck transforms into Hayley's.)

Devin: That should work. You can add people too, right?
DECA: Affirmative.

(Simulations of Hayley, Trent, Conner, Kira, Ethan, and Tim appear. A simulated Cassidy walks in.)

Devin: That's perfect.

(Devin walks further into the simulation, and looks around. The simulated Cassidy sits down near Devin. Devin looks at the simulated Cassidy. He checks and notices that the simulation feels real, so he sits down at the table. He doesn't say anything, and just looks at the simulated Cassidy.)

"Cassidy": So, Devin, we need to figure out a story to work on.
Devin: Wouldn't you want to talk about something else?
"Cassidy": Fine. Devin, how do you feel about me?

(Outside, the real Cassidy is looking for Devin.)

Devin: How do I feel? We've been friends since elementary school. And I've felt like I cared for you more as we grew older. But then, by the time high school rolled around, and you wanted to get into the news business, I naturally jumped in because I wanted to be with you. But ever since then, you have been caring less about being around me, and more about just getting a scoop, and using me to hold the camera.. (pauses) Despite all of that, I still loved you.. I tried to ignore my feelings, but..
Cassidy: But what?

(It wasn't the simulation, but the real Cassidy. Devin looks towards the Simu-Deck entrance. He sees Cassidy, then just stands up.)

Devin: But then you started seeing Bruce. And then, this stupid DinoGem was fused to my wrist, and because of it and Mesogog, I almost lost you.. You mean the world to me. But I can't be with you.. I want to, more than anything. But I know it won't last.
Cassidy: We don't know when Bruce is going to wake up. He might not wake up for years. Devin, I'm willing to give you a chance. But, are you willing to give yourself that chance?
Devin: And when he wakes up? What then? Are you just going back to him?
Cassidy: I... I don't know.
Devin: You said it yourself, that you don't know when he wakes up, but you're not thinking about what happens after he wakes up.
Cassidy: I know. If not for Bruce, I wouldn't have changed. He showed me how to love. But after what just happened to me, I don't want to be alone.
Devin: And if not for wanting to go into broadcasting, you wouldn't have changed either. Don't just say you changed because Bruce came into your life. You changed already before then. You just changed back to who I used to love. The only difference being that, you still didn't really give me much attention until I told you..
Cassidy: You're right, Dev. I know you are.
Devin: What you should be asking yourself, Cass, is if you're only thinking about being with me, just because Bruce is in a coma. Because if I'm just the "runner up", then you can forget it.

(Before Cassidy can respond...)

Tommy (v/o): Devin, get ready. Mesogog's attacking. We're heading back to Reefside as soon as we're in orbit.
Devin: Maybe we'll finish this conversation later.

(Devin doesn't wait for an answer. He leaves the Simu-Deck, heading back the way he came, going to the bridge. Cassidy follows, figuring that's the only way she'll get back to the surface. Or to Bruce's side. Devin arrives at the bridge, followed by Cassidy, although Devin has moved into the bridge further, standing near Ethan.)

Devin: Has Conner and them already gone out to fight?
Tommy: Yeah. Hayley said they really need the back-up.
Devin: Why can't we go there now? I mean, is teleportation only good for short range or something?
Andros: You can go now. We've just reached parking orbit.
Tommy: Cassidy, do you want us to send you home?
Cassidy: No. Send me over to the other ship. I want to be near Bruce. To think on something.
Devin: Let's get going, then.
Andros: Good luck, Tommy.
Tommy: We'll need it.

(Cassidy is teleported over to the original Megaship, as Tommy, Devin and Ethan are teleported down to the battle. Upon arriving..)

Devin: White Ranger, Dino Power.

(Devin morphs.)

Tommy & Ethan: Dino Thunder, Power Up. Ha!

(Nearby, Elsa has fallen, now transformed back into Principal Randall. And Mesogog has Kira in his grip.)

Kira: Guys, a little help here.

(Devin goes Super Dino mode, and tries attacking Mesogog with super speed, behind him, so he drops Kira.)

Mesogog: You are foolish to attack me.
Devin: You fight one of us, you fight us all.
Mesogog: Then I will.

(Mesogog suddenly mutates into a more monstrous form.)

Tommy (into morpher): Hayley, we're going to need to go green for this one.
Hayley (v/o): Right.
Devin: Great. I didn't think you could get uglier.

(Mesogog grabs Devin with both hands, and starts squeezing. Devin starts to struggle, but he can't move.)

Devin: (straining) Uh.. Help..

(Suddenly, blaster fire hits Mesogog in the back. Mesogog lets go of Devin.)

Mesogog: Who?

(The Green Ranger, AKA Tim, jumps into the scene. He attacks Mesogog as he enters, with his Thundermax Saber. Mesogog just swats Tim aside. Tim gets swatted, but he concentrates, gaining Super Dino mode, and lands on his feet.)

Devin: Hey, Mesogog!

(Devin uses his DragoSword to draw a cannon, that fires a laser-created cannonball at him. Mesogog is knocked backwards, but is still standing. He fires a blast at Devin. Devin quickly uses his Super Dino mode speed to dodge the blast. Mesogog charges. He grabs Kira again. He squeezes her harder than he did Devin.)

Kira (in pain): Tim.
Tim: No! Let! Her! Go!

(Tim charges at Mesogog. His suit is glowing green.)

Ethan: Whoa. What's going on?
Conner: I heard it's not easy being green. I guess that song was wrong.

(Tim kicks Mesogog in the back. This time, Mesogog is knocked down. Tim isn't done yet. He turns towards Mesogog. His suit is glowing, as it gets covered in green-ish fire. Mesogog starts glowing as well. Anton Mercer is standing next to Mesogog when the glow dies down. Tim starts to yell, as the fire seem to be inside the helmet, or at least the visor. The ground is shaking around him. Tommy pulls Mercer out of the way.)

Kira: Finish him off, Tim.

(Suddenly, Tim's suit is covered in bulky armor. In essence, its what his Battlizer looks like in the normal dimension. The shaking and fire dies down, as Tim starts to walk forward.)

Conner: I thought I was the only one with a Battlizer.

(Mesogog starts moving again. Without Mercer as part of him, his strength is increased. He fires another, more powerful blast at Devin, ignoring Tim. Devin tries to move out of the way, but the blast is much faster than before, and doesn't get out in time. He takes the full brunt of the blast. Mesogog moves toward Devin, ready to finish him off. Another blast hits Mesogog.)

Voice: Back away from him.

(Devin tries to get back up to his feet. He grabs his arm, as his suit sparks, forcing him to powering down. He's bleeding in the corner of his mouth. Mesogog turns toward the blast. Bruce is standing there, fully morphed. He's putting an arrow in his Bronto Bow.)

Bruce: Take this, ugly.

(Bruce fires the arrow at Mesogog, but Mesogog fires a blast. The arrow explodes, too close to Bruce. He's knocked down, forcing him to power down. Tim decides to take action, charging at Mesogog again. Mesogog cant avoid the attack. Mesogog is knocked down.)

Tommy: There's only one way to finish him off. We need to combine the power of the DinoGems. Someone will need to move Bruce's arm for this.

(Tim regroups with the others. Devin also regroups. He seems weak, but can stand.)

Tommy: Alright. We need to bring all the Morphers together. Then the power of our DinoGems will finish Mesogog.

(Conner lifts up Bruce's arm. Tim demorphs, putting his morpher up with the others. Fortunately, it's Devin's right arm that was hurt during the fight, so he's able to lift his left arm just fine. Conner, Kira, Ethan and Tommy also power down. All the Morphers are brought close to each other, and a beam fires. Mesogog explodes. Unfortunately, the DinoGems are shattered.)

Tim: I guess we did it, right?

(Devin says nothing. He looks at his left wrist, and sighs, since he's relieved that he doesn't have the DinoGem anymore. Bruce wakes up, coughing up blue blood.)

Kira: Eww.
Bruce (weak): I guess I did too much too soon. DECA warned me not too. Devin.

(Devin says nothing. He just moves over to Bruce, as he holds his right arm. Bruce puts something in Devin's hand. A key.)

Bruce (weak): My house is yours. Take care of Cass...
Devin: You're not going to die. We'll get you some help.
Bruce (weaker): It's.. too late... for that. Tell her I loved her, and always will.

(Bruce goes limp.)

Devin: Bruce.. Bruce!

(Devin uses his good arm to shake Bruce, but obviously doesn't get a response. He sighs, as he looks down. Cassidy runs in, crying.)

Cassidy: No.

(Devin stands, and turns away, still looking down. Cassidy starts crying on Devin's shoulder. Kira walks over to Tim.)

Kira: I know this might not seem an appropriate time, considering we just lost Bruce, but, there's something I've been wanting to do for a while now.

(Kira kisses Tim.)

Tim: I've been wanting to do that too.

(Tim kisses her back.)

Conner: Dude. How come I'm not getting the girl? I'm the one in red.
Tommy: It doesn't always work that way, Conner.

(Kira fast forwards the reality. Past Bruce's funeral, past Prom, past a few weddings. One year, almost to the day, after Mesogog's defeat, and Bruce's death.)

Doctor: Congratulations, Mr. Del Valle. It's a boy.

(The reality ends.)

Bruce: Whoa. This is the second reality I've seen that ended with me being, well, dead.
Tim: No offense, but at least I didn't die there.
Bruce: Yeah. But, at least this time, I died a hero, and not jumping into a quarry after killing my best friend. Almost as bad as the reality I watched where you did die, Tim.

(In Crowmeowme Tower, Bruce and Cassidy are getting ready for company.)

Bruce: OK, the snacks are already, and the drinks are in the fridge.
Cassidy: And Kitty's all set.
Bruce: I just hope Saurian stays at home with Dr Mercer this time.
Cassidy: I'm sorry I missed the last get together.
Bruce: It was the second reality in a row where Dev was a Ranger. But, it didn’t end so well for me.

(Downstairs...)

Kira: I'm glad the weather report isn’t calling for storms today. But, then again, Bruce and Cassidy's viewer isn’t a prototype, like ours.
Tim: Yeah.

(Before the can head upstairs, a Nerf-type soccer ball rolls into Kira.)

Conner: Whoa, CJ. Aunt Kira isn’t the goal.
Tim: And I don't think he should be doing that indoors, either.
Conner: That's his favorite toy. Like father, like son.
Krista: Besides, it's soft.
Kira: It could still break something.
Tim: Yeah. It's fine if we wants to do that outside, but regardless if the ball is soft or not, it's still dangerous to play indoors.
Conner: You heard Uncle Tim, sport.
CJ: K, Daddy.
Krista: So, are you two planning on any additions any time soon?
Kira: We aren’t planning on one. But, if it happens, it happens. Right, Tim?
Tim: Yeah.

(Ethan and Devin arrive, once again playing their handheld games.)

Ethan: Oh, you're through now, Dev. I've got a Ruby Dragon.
Devin: Even in an electronic form, I cant win at Dragon Wars.
Tim: Why is it every time we see you two, you're always playing something?
Ethan: Just your luck. Oh, Trent called me. He wont be able to make it tonight. He's got a deadline.
Tim: Meaning Saurian won't be coming, then.
Ethan: Yeah.
Conner: Let's head upstairs. Unless Dr O or Sensei is showing up.
Tim: Don't know if they are or not. But since they haven't the last times, they might be too busy to.
Conner: True.

(The group heads upstairs in one of the public elevators. Kitty is waiting in the hall, playing with her Barbies. The groups arrives on the floor via the elevator, and the doors open.)

Kitty: OK, Barbies, into the car. Everybody's here.

(Kitty starts putting her Barbies into a pink car. Tim just smiles at Kitty playing.)

Kira: Wow, Kitty. That's a lot of Barbies.
Kitty: Mommy and Daddy gave them to me for my birthday.
Tim: Well, at least they're not that expensive.
Ethan: Like money matters to them.
Tim: Yeah..

(Bruce opens the door.)

Bruce: Hey guys.

(Kitty takes her Barbies inside.)

Conner: Hey bro.
Ethan: Trent's not coming.
Tim: Yeah, which means no Saurian.
Bruce: That's OK. He's got his work, just like Cass and I do. We know how important deadlines are.
Tim: Hopefully after this time, we might have our ARV fixed so it doesn’t have problems in storms.
Bruce: Bob and Bart assure me that all the bugs are being taken care of. Come on in.

(Tim and the others come inside.)

Cassidy: Hey guys. Oh, Devin, we've got a surprise for you.
Devin: You do?
Cassidy: Yeah.
Bruce: A new camera. Full HD. We're going to be doing the news in High Def starting Monday.
Devin: Nice. Thanks, guys.
Bruce: You're the best cameraman we've got.
Conner: Well, Krista and I have some news of our own.

(The others know that they both want to say it, so they don't say anything.)

Krista: CJ's going to be a brother.
Bruce: That's great, bro.
Cassidy: Kitty would love to be a sister, but, I want to wait a few more years. Make sure the news is running smoothly.
Tim: So, what are we having while we watch the ARV?
Bruce: We've got anything you could want. Especially since these apartments have built-in Synthetrons. You could even have a latte the way Hayley would make it.
Tim: You know I don't really drink that stuff.
Ethan: I'm sure Bruce was generalizing with all of us there.
Bruce: Yeah. Like I said, anything. A smoothie, a soda, or something stronger. Since Kitty and CJ are the only ones here under 21.
Tim: That's good, then. Too bad we don't have one of those.
Bruce: I'll see what we can do about that.

(Soon everyone is settled.)

Bruce: OK, let's see what might have happened this time.

(Bruce activates the viewer. It shows Reefside, nearly seven years earlier. Cassidy and Devin are walking, when they are approached, by Tutenhawken.)

Tutenhawken: Stop! I must speak with you.
Cassidy: What do you want? Don't hurt us.
Tutenhawken: I have no intention of hurting you. I have never laid eyes on such magnificent beauty.
Devin: Aw, thanks man. I've been using this new moisturizer.

(Cassidy rolls her eyes at Devin.)

Tutenhawken: Not you, you dung beetle. Her. Your loveliness makes
Cleopatra look like a homely peasant.
Cassidy: Really? Wasn't she one of the hottest girls back in the day?
Tutenhawken: Yes, but she cannot compare with you. Come with me and be my queen.
Cassidy: Oh, I cant, because I'm off to get a pedicure.
Tutenhawken: But I will shower you with riches beyond your wildest dreams.
Cassidy: Exactly what kind of riches are we talking about here?
Tutenhawken: Gold, jewels, servants to wait upon your every wish.
Devin: Cass, you cant. What about Bruce?
Cassidy: Shhh. I'm listening.
Bruce (v/o): I remember this creep. Probably not in the same way as Ethan.
Ethan (v/o): Well, if not for him, I wouldn’t have gotten the Hovercraft Cycle.
Tim: (v/o) Or got covered in mud.
Conner (v/o): Or dropped your laptop.
Ethan (v/o): OK, enough about the curse.

(Bruce fast forwards a little, to Queen Cassipatra at Hayley's.)

Bruce: So, what has this guy got that I don't have?
Cassidy: He can make me a Queen. Can you do that?
Bruce: Well, no. But I can give you even more gold and jewels than this guy can.

(Bruce walks over to the others, trying to ignore the smell coming from Ethan.)

Bruce: I'll catch you guys later, I've got some shopping to do.
Tim: I bet I can guess what you're doing.
Bruce: It took me too long to get this far with her. I don’t plan on losing her without a fight.
Tim: Well, good luck. (whispering) But I think we'd be better off actually fighting Tutenhawken instead.

(Bruce leaves, heading first for a very expensive jewelry store. Later, at Tutenhawken's "palace"...)

Devin: These should work.
Tutenhawken: My queen, you deserve all the riches you desire.
Cassidy: So true.
Tutenhawken: Once I destroy the defenders of this city, everything will be ours for the taking.
Cassidy: Hang on a minute. The Power Rangers defend Reefside. You didn't say anything about destroying anyone.
Tutenhawken: But I must crush my enemies to achieve total domination.
Cassidy: I'm not sure I'm on board with that.
Tutenhawken: Do you not want all the riches I have promised you?
Cassidy: Uh, well...
Tutenhawken (to Devin): Leave us, servant.
Cassidy: No, don’t leave.
Tutenhawken: He will leave. NOW.

(Devin leaves, slightly scared.)

Tutenhawken: Now, my Queen, time for you to fulfill your duties.
Queen: My duties?

(Tutenhawken casts a spell on Cassidy. Back at Hayley's...)

Trent: Uh, guys, check out the TV.

(Tim looks.)

Announcer (v/o): Channel 3 is proud to announce we have a new owner and general manager. Mr. Bruce Crowmeowme.
Conner: Whoa. Is Bruce out of his mind?
Tim: He's a man in love.

(Tim looks at Kira.)

Ethan: He did say Bruce, right? Not one of his brothers?
Conner: Sounded like it.
Tim: Ethan, seriously, you really need to get cleaned up.
Ethan: Believe me, I'm trying.

(Soon, Tutenhawken is finally destroyed. After Cassidy "apologizes" to Ethan, Bruce walks over to her.)

Bruce: Hey Cass.
Cassidy: I know what you must be thinking.
Bruce: Well, first, I've got a few things for you.

(Bruce hands Cassidy a box, containing a very expensive necklace.)

Cassidy: Wow. Those diamonds. I've never seen anything like them.
Bruce: It will look great on camera.
Cassidy: Like I'm going to wear those to a petting zoo.
Bruce: Oh, no more field assignments for you. I bought Channel 3. You're the lead anchor now.
Cassidy: Lead anchor?
Bruce: With your own dressing room and everything.
Cassidy: Lead anchor?
Bruce(v/o): That's exactly how she reacted when Brian and Bob offered her the lead anchor job here.

(Nearby..)

Tim: I'd bet that you're glad that curse is gone, Ethan.
Ethan: You can say that again.
Conner: Not as glad as Bruce is, I bet.

(Bruce and Cassidy are kissing, very passionately. Bruce fast forwards. As Prom and graduation near, and Mesogog's attacks get worse, Bruce spends less time involved with running the station. Mr. Cormier convinces Cassidy that exposing the Rangers secret identities would be great for ratings. Devin goes to Conner for advice on asking Cassidy to the prom, without mentioning her by name. And soon, Mesogog is defeated, with Devin and Cassidy witnessing the whole final battle.)

Cassidy: Hello Rangers.
Tommy: So you know then?
Devin: Well, I kinda already knew, but I had to show Cassidy in person.
Cassidy: This is like the greatest thing ever.

(Cassidy hugs Devin. Bruce raises an eyebrow.)

Cassidy: And we've got it all on tape. You know, a reporter could make a whole career out of this.
Tommy: Cassidy, do you realize what our lives will be like if that tape gets out? I've just become a father. I don't want that kind of trouble for my wife and my new son.
Cassidy: Yeah, I do. That's why I'm giving this to you.

(Cassidy hands Tommy the tape.)

Bruce (whispered to Tim): That's my girl.
Ethan: I knew you had it in you, Cassidy.
Cassidy: Yeah, I just needed someone to help me find it.

(Bruce prepares to step forward, thinking that's his cue. When suddenly, his whole world collapses around him.)

Cassidy: Now, if you'll excuse us...
Devin: Yeah. We're off to the Prom.

(Bruce says nothing, dropping his now-useless DinoGem and leaving. Tim notices Bruce leaving, but doesn't say anything. Bruce goes to his original Reefside residence, and not the house his brothers bought for him. He does go home, eventually, but, unlike the main reality, he doesn’t play keyboard at the Prom. The next morning...)

Bruce (on the phone): That's right, Mr. Cormier. I said I want them fired. If you cant do that, you'll be fired too.

(The doorbell rings. Bruce hangs up, and answers the door.)

Bruce: Hey bro.
Conner: Hey. You weren't at the prom. You okay?
Bruce: I've been better. I'm coping, by firing Cassidy and Devin.
Conner: Dude, you shouldn't be trying to make things miserable for them just because you're not feeling good.
Bruce: She broke my heart. She didn’t even give me any warning.
Conner: Sorry, dude. If I knew that Devin was talking about Cassidy, I'd..

(Conner stops, realizing he said too much.)

Bruce: What?

(Without thinking, Bruce punches Conner, right in the jaw.)

Bruce: Get out of my house, and out of my life!

(Conner backs up, rubbing his jaw.)

Conner: Alright. But you should let me explain..
Bruce: You explained enough, you... you dumb jock.
Conner: That... hurts, bro. You never called me that before.

(Conner turns, and leaves. Bruce grabs a shower, then heads over to Tim's. At Tim's, he gets a phone call. It's from Conner.)

Tim: Hey Conner. What? Why would he do that? Whoa. Well, I think he has the right to be feeling hurt, but punching you sounds harsh. Alright, I'll see you later.

(Tim hangs up. Bruce knocks on the door. Tim, already being ready to leave the house when he got the call, opens the door.)

Tim: Oh. Hey Bruce.
Bruce: Hey Tim. I thought you and I could hang out. Try and forget about our recent relationship failures.
Tim: And your recent fights? Conner called me.
Bruce: And just what did my former best friend have to say?
Tim: That he tried to explain to you about talking to Devin, when Devin didn't mention who he was talking about, but you punched him before he could. Then he said you called him a dumb jock.
Bruce: Well, if he wasn’t such an airhead, he would have seen there's only one girl Devin has any interest in.
Tim: Really? We don't really talk to Devin that much. And just because he hangs out with Cassidy, there was no way any of us would've known he was talking about her. They've apparently been friends since they were little kids.
Bruce: The only time I've seen other girls even show an interest in him was after the meteor incident.
Tim: That didn’t mean anything. You should still apologize to Conner. We know he's an airhead, but he wouldn't intentionally try to hurt a friend. Especially not you. You two were best friends.
Bruce: I'll... I'll think about it. Want to head over to the mall?
Tim: Sure. I was heading there anyway.
Bruce: Great. I'll drive. Unless you might have someplace else to go afterward.
Tim: No, I don't have any other places I need to go.
Bruce: OK.

(Bruce and Tim head to the mall.)

Kira (v/o): Which is where Tim and I should patch things up, if things are like our reality.
Tim: (v/o) Yeah.

(While at the mall, Tim and Bruce head for a music store. Bruce looks in, and sees Kira.)

Bruce: Uh, we might want to go to a different one.
Tim: Why?

(Tim looks.)

Tim: Oh.

(Kira sees Tim and Bruce. She puts down the cd she was looking at, and heads over to them.)

Kira: Hey guys.
Bruce: Hey Kira.
Kira: Uh, Bruce, can I have some time alone with Tim?
Bruce: Sure. I'll head over to the food court.
Tim: You can stay close by if you want.
Kira: Tim, last night, at the prom, I realized something. I still love you. I saw Conner there with Krista. Even Ethan had a date.
Tim: I still love you too.

(Kira kisses Tim, as Bruce just walks away. Tim kisses her back. He looks towards where Bruce was, and notices he's gone. Bruce is headed toward the bookstore.)

Bruce (thinking): Maybe they've got a book on how to deal with a broken heart?

(Bruce doesn’t notice Devin passing by him. Devin thinks it best not to say anything, considering he's just been fired. Back with Tim and Kira...)

Tim: I should probably go find Bruce. He seems to really need a friend right now. I know we just basically got back together, but I know you can understand why I'm doing this.
Kira: Sure. Meet me at Hayley's later. I wrote a new song we can rehearse.
Tim: Great. I'll be there as soon as we're done here.

(Tim kisses Kira again, before he leaves to look for Bruce. As he leaves, he runs into Devin.)

Tim: Devin.
Devin: Oh, hey, Tim. I saw Bruce here, but, he didn’t see me. Which is probably for the best. Considering Cass and I were fired this morning.
Tim: That would be the least of him seeing you.
Devin: I hope Cass is OK. She wasn’t feeling well this morning.
Tim: Is that why you're in the mall? Getting something for her?
Devin: Yeah. She threw up on her favorite cashmere sweater, so she wanted me to get her a new one.
Tim: Sounds like the flu. Or... something else.
Devin: Or something she ate last night at the Prom. She was pretty hungry. I didn’t even have any punch.
Tim: Huh. That sounds like something else entirely. But I thought you would know that, since you did have a sister in the same condition, right?
Devin: Wait, are you saying Cass could be pregnant? I don’t think she and Bruce ever got that far.
Tim: I have no idea, but it sounds like that.
Devin: But, if Bruce isn’t the father, who would it be? I know that, even if Cass and I had, well, you know, last night, she wouldn’t have symptoms this soon. My sister said it was several weeks in.
Tim: You... didn't do that last night, did you?
Devin: No. We left early, because Cass was feeling tired. She didn’t even kiss me.
Tim: Oh. Well, I'd think about getting a pregnancy test kit for her if I were you.
Devin: Uh, OK. See you later, Tim.
Tim: Yeah.

(Tim starts to look for Bruce again. Bruce is in the bookstore. He's looking at magazines. Fashion magazines.)

Bruce (thinking): All these remind me of Cassidy. She would look at them and tell me how much better she would look in these outfits.

(Tim almost passes the bookstore until he notices Bruce. He heads inside. Bruce starts looking at other magazines.)

Bruce: Maybe one of these broadcasting magazines will have a section where I can sell Channel 3?

(Tim comes up behind Bruce.)

Tim: You know, that was kind of rude of you to leave like that.
Bruce: Sorry. I figured you and Kira would be a while.
Tim: Kira's going to meet me at Hayley's later. I told her that you need a friend right now.
Bruce: Yeah. But, if you want to go on ahead, I don’t mind.
Tim: I will, but not yet. (pauses) This might not be what you want to hear, but I think that Cassidy might be pregnant. I ran into Devin while looking for you. He told me she was eating like crazy at the prom, then this morning, she was throwing up.
Bruce: That's impossible. We never slept together. I was going to wait until after graduation to see if she wanted to go that far.
Tim: I know, Devin said that too. And even though they never did anything either, even if they did, it wouldn't have happened this fast.
Bruce: So Devin's not the first one she cheated on my with.
Tim: Maybe it's when she had no choice in the matter. You're forgetting one other person that she was with, besides you and Devin.
Bruce: You mean Tutenhawken?
Tim: Yeah. We have no idea what he did to her.
Bruce: She would have told me if she had slept with him. Unless...
Tim: Unless Tutenhawken used a spell on her, and she didn't know.
Bruce: Exactly. (Pauses) Oh, I forgot, Dr O wants us to meet over at the lab this afternoon.
Tim: We should go tell the others, then. And you can apologize to Conner.
Bruce: I suppose. And then, I should talk to Cassidy. Even if she doesn’t want to talk to me.
Tim: You were the one that didn't want to talk, not her. You chose to not talk to her after she revealed she was going with Devin, not the other way around. I know she didn't say anything to you, but still.
Bruce: She probably doesn’t want to talk to me because I fired her this morning.
Tim: You can easily fix that. You are the owner.
Bruce: Yeah. Let's go get Kira and head over to Dr O's.
Tim: By the way, speaking of firing, you should do that to Mr. Cormier. I think he's the one that should deserve it. Or a demotion.
Bruce: You're probably right. Maybe my brothers know where I can get a new news director.
Tim: Maybe one you know that wouldn't make stupid decisions, like trying to expose heroes, and ruin their lives.
Bruce: Yeah.

(Later, Bruce, Tim and Kira arrive at the lab.)

Bruce: No sign of Conner's car. Maybe he isn’t showing because he doesn’t want to run into me.
Tim: Or something else could be going on.
Kira: Or he just forgot.
Tim: I doubt Conner would forget coming here when Dr. O called us.
Kira: Yeah, he's not that big of an airhead.

(Conner's car soon arrives, but he hits a trash can when he arrives. He gets out, and it's obvious that he's drunk.)

Kira: Conner, what's wrong with you? No, wait, I can smell what's wrong.
Conner: (slurred) What's wrong me? You mean, other than Bruce hitting me and calling me a dumb jock? Krista dumped me.

(Conner just stumbles towards the house.)

Bruce: Conner, bro, I'm sorry. I shouldn’t have taken things out on you. You were my first friend in Reefside. I... I was just so upset, I wasn’t thinking this through clearly.
Conner: (slurred) Yeah, well, maybe you're right. I am a dumb jock. Maybe I don't deserve a good friend like you, or a good girl like Krista
Bruce: That's not true. You deserve it all. I'm the one who was stupid. I never should have punched you. Besides, I've got a bigger problem to solve.

(Conner gets ready to say something, but he throws up. He looks like he's better, but then he passes out. Tim quickly moves forward and catches him.)

Bruce: Let's get him inside. Hopefully, Dr O has some coffee.
Tim: No, the best way to wake someone up from this is a cold shower.
Bruce: Wait here. I'll get the hose.
Tim: My dad used to do this with my brother all the time. Although, my brother never drank that much.
Bruce: Then let's get him awake and sober. I'm going to need all the help I can get, if Cass is indeed carrying Tutenhawken's baby.
Tim: I know it would indirectly be your responsibility, the same as ours, but we shouldn't be doing anything unless Cassidy asks for our help first.
Bruce: I guess you're right. Get him sobered up. I've got two people to re-hire, and one to fire.
Tim: Yeah.

(Tim takes Conner close to the hose attached to the house. He then sprays Conner with the water, who instantly wakes up.)

Conner: AH! That's cold!
Tim: Sorry about that. We needed to wake you up. Besides, I doubt Dr. O would approve of you showing up drunk.
Conner: (holds his head) Not so loud..

(Ethan soon arrives.)

Ethan: What's wrong with Conner? Did he play soccer in the mud?
Tim: No. He was drunk.

(Conner stands, but he's wobbly. Tim helps him, before he gets his footing.)

Ethan: I guess someone didn’t have as great a day as I did.
Tim: Mine was kind of good. Conner and Bruce didn't.
Ethan: Well, I'm 99% certain that Angela is my soul mate. We finally got around to seeing Asteroid Conquest 2.
Conner: Can we please not talk about relationships? Two relationships already ruined my day today.
Ethan: Two? That's a new record for you.

(Nearby...)

Bruce: No, Mr. Cormier. They're re-hired, you're fired. And that's that.

(Back with the others..)

Tim: Can you guess which ones he means?
Conner: No need to guess. Cassidy and Devin getting together, and me and Krista breaking up.
Ethan: Looks like you're 0 for 2 with Cassidy in relationships other than Bruce.
Tim: Technically, Cassidy and Devin getting together is only indirectly Conner's fault.
Conner: I already beat myself up enough about that. Like I said, please let's not talk about it.
Tim: Alright.

(Bruce walks back over.)

Bruce: Ok, Cass and Devin have their jobs back, and Cormier is out. Ethan, can you help me find a website to hire a new news director?
Ethan: Sure. That should be pretty easy.
Tim: Has anyone seen Trent today?
Ethan: No. I haven’t seen him since last night.
Tim: I hope he knows we're meeting Dr. O, then. I haven't seen him since the battle with Mesogog.
Kira: I can try calling him.

(Kira calls Trent's cell phone.)

Kira: It's going right to his voice mail.
Ethan: Maybe Saurian broke his phone?
Tim: Maybe we should try calling Dr. Mercer, to make sure.
Kira: Dr O probably has his number.
Tim: Yeah, probably. Let's go.
Ethan: If Conner's sober enough now.
Conner: I'm alright.
Bruce: If I had known this would happen, I never would have punched you.
Conner: It's okay. I should have just not gave Devin advice. But I really didn't know he was talking about Cassidy. He never said a name.
Bruce: Maybe Bart will let me borrow his ship to change the past?
Tim: Let's not worry about that right now.
Conner: Yeah. Dr. O needs us.

(Conner starts to enter the house. He's walking like normal now. Inside, Tommy and Hayley have started cleaning things up.)

Tommy: Are the back-ups still intact?
Hayley: They should be. I placed them in an FAA grade black box.

(The former Rangers arrive, obviously without Trent.)

Tommy: There you all are. Where's Trent?
Kira: We don’t know. I tried calling his cell phone, but it went right to voicemail.
Tim: You have Dr. Mercer's number, right? We might want to call him to make sure everything's okay.
Tommy: Yeah. I'll call him.

(Tommy starts to call Mercer's number, when Trent is thrown down the stairs.)

Tim: Trent.
Voice: I should thank you, Rangers, or should I say, former Rangers, for destroying my "father".
Conner: Who's there?
Ethan: That voice. Saurian?

(Saurian comes down the stairs. He's dressed like Mesogog.)

Saurian: I can carry out my own plans. Changing humanity into dinosaurs, not very feasible.
Tim: Let me guess, you just want to take over.
Saurian: Eventually. After I have sired a new race of creatures like myself. You really think I wanted "Babysitters"? No, I wanted females suitable for breeding.
Tim: But Trent and Dr. Mercer wanted to treat you like family.
Saurian: Their mistake. A fatal one for Anton, sadly.
Conner: You killed Dr. Mercer?
Saurian: Quite easily. Trent is lucky I let him live.

(Saurian looks at Kira.)

Saurian: You will be the first of many. Come to me, now.
Tim: Hey, I don't think so.

(Tim stands in front of Kira.)

Bruce: He's right, ugly. You aren’t getting Kira. Or anyone else.
Saurian: Oh, but I am. Even as I speak, my associate is bringing one back to the Mercer estate.
Ethan: Associate?
Saurian: My former "mama".
Ethan: Elsa.
Saurian: I told her she would be spared motherhood if she worked for me. She should have a lovely blonde secured by now.
Bruce: Cassidy?
Tim: If it is Cassidy, she's kind of already pregnant.
Saurian: Then you will suffer greatly, former Silver Ranger.
Bruce: Believe me, I wish I was the father. But I'm not.
Tim: Yeah, the one that's probably the father, we already defeated before.
Saurian: So, a monster impregnated her? The child could prove useful to my plans. But as soon as she gives birth, she is mine.
Bruce: Leave her alone.

(Bruce's anger builds.)

Tim: Wait, if Elsa took Cassidy.. what happened to Devin? He was going to see her.
Saurian: I have no idea. And personally, I don’t care what happened to him. All I know is, five of you will not be walking out of here on your own two feet. The other two, I will carry out of here.
Tim: Kira, Hayley... You two might want to run.

(Tim goes into a fighting stance. Conner, Ethan and Tommy do the same. Bruce takes out his cell phone.)

Bruce: We might need back-up for this.

(Tim gets ready to charge at Saurian.)

Saurian: My strength is more than you can handle.

(Tim still charges, but he charges like a football player, going for Saurian's legs. Saurian sidesteps, and reaches for Tim. Saurian picks Tim up, and throws him unto a wall, knocking him out.)

Kira: Tim!

(Kira rushes over to Tim.)

Kira: He's still alive.
Conner: Go Kira!

(Kira makes a run for one of the alternate exits.)

Saurian: You can run, but you cannot hide. I will have you soon enough.
Tommy: Follow her, Hayley. And keep Trini and the baby safe.
Hayley: We will.

(Hayley follows Kira.)

Saurian: Which of you fools will be next?
Bruce: I've called Bart. His team will pick up Ben's team.
Saurian: Summon all the teams you want. No one can stop me.

(Bruce gets a text message. It's from Cassidy. Two words. Help me.)

Bruce: You're wrong. I can stop you. Cassidy may have dumped me, but I still love her.

(Bruce concentrates on thoughts of what Saurian could do to Cassidy, and goes Mega.)

Bruce (v/o): Again. I only go Mega in alternate realities.
Tim: (v/o) Yeah.

(Bruce charges at Saurian, ready for him to sidestep. He tackles Saurian, knocking him down.)

Bruce: How about some help?

(Conner and Ethan, surprised at Bruce's change, run forward. Bruce keeps giving Saurian a series of mega punches to keep him down.)

Conner: You aren’t picturing him as me, are you?
Bruce: No. I'm picturing him as Tutenhawken.

(Tommy looks for a fossil finder. Specifically, the one Trent used on him.)

Saurian: You three don’t want to attack me, do you?

(Ethan backs away. Conner also backs away.)

Bruce: Uh, guys? Why'd you stop fighting?
Saurian: The same reason Elsa is working for me. I am their Master now. But you, you resist my mind control.
Bruce: Family secret. So, if you can control minds, why not do it on Kira and Hayley?
Saurian: They weren’t close enough. I can only take control of subjects within 1 foot of me.
Bruce (thinking): Good to know. (aloud) Well, I'll put an end to you before you can control anyone else.
Saurian: Stop him.

(Conner and Ethan stand in Bruce's way.)

Bruce: You find what you're looking for Dr O?
Tommy: No.
Bruce: I'll get Tim out of here. You just get yourself to safety.
Tommy: Alright. Be careful, Bruce. I don’t want to tell your brothers anything happened to you.

(Bruce goes over and picks up Tim, before heading for the exit.)

Bruce (thinking): Hopefully, you wake up before we get to Hayley's.

(Conner and Ethan starts to head towards Bruce, since Saurian told them to stop him.)

Saurian: Let him go, for now. He is not important to my plans.

(Conner and Ethan stop going after Bruce, and walk back to Saurian, awaiting more orders.)

Saurian: The two of you will go to Reefside Mall, and bring me females. The more, the better. Ones who are in prime reproductive age. None too young or too old.
Conner: We know the perfect ones, Master.

(Conner and Ethan leave. Bruce has Tim in his backseat, heading for Hayley's. He's on his phone.)

Bruce: Hold off on the back-up, Bart. We've got a dangerous game change.
Bart (v/o): How dangerous?
Bruce: Mind control. I didn’t work on me. Not sure if it's because of our heritage, or because I was Mega at the time.
Bart (v/o): I've got Ben's team on the Megaship, for when we're needed.
Bruce: Alright.

(Tim groans from the back seat.)

Bruce: I bet you feel like your DiploZord just ran over you.
Tim: I feel like all of our zords did..

(Tim sits up quickly.)

Tim: Where's Kira? And what happened?
Bruce: She should be at Hayley's by now. What happened is, Saurian can control people. Like that Fossil monster that controlled Kira. And he's got Conner and Ethan on his team now.
Tim: Great. Too bad we don't have powers anymore.
Bruce: I know. But I've got the Lightspeed and Space Rangers standing by. But first, I've got to rescue Cassidy.
Tim: We're not even sure if that blonde he had Elsa take was Cassidy.
Bruce: Cass sent me a text message. Two words. Help me.
Tim: Maybe first we should see if Devin's okay. He was going to see her.
Bruce: I cant afford to waste that much time.
Tim: I don't see that much of a time waster. If Cassidy was taken, from that text message she sent you, then we already know where she is. All we know about Devin is that he was going to see her. We don't even know what happened to him. What would have happened to him, do you think, if he was there when Elsa came to get Cassidy? I'm going to bet nothing good.
Bruce: If she can still fight the way she did before Mesogog took away her powers, he wouldn’t have stood a chance if he was with her.
Tim: That's my point. I know you're worried about Cassidy. If it was Kira, I'd be worried too. And I also know you don't care at the moment about Devin, because of what he and Cassidy did to you recently, but despite all of that, Devin is still considered our friend.
Bruce: Fine. But if he doesn’t answer his cell phone, I'm heading to the Mercer estate. With, or without help.
Tim: If he doesn't answer, that could mean he could be like Trent is. Or worse.
Bruce: I know.

(They arrive at Hayley's. Kira is waiting outside for them. Tim sighs, as he gets out of the car. Kira rushes over to him and kisses him.)

Kira: That's for being OK.
Tim: I think I'd be more okay once Bruce stops being irrational. I know he wants to save Cassidy, but he's saying that he'll go on his own if no one else will go with him. Not to mention he said that he'll call Devin's cell phone, but won't care if he doesn't answer. He could be as bad as Trent is, or worse.
Kira: Where's Conner and Ethan?
Bruce: Saurian is controlling them. The same way Fossilador controlled you.
Kira: Don’t remind me. But Tim's right, Bruce. If he’s not OK, even if you and Cassidy get back together, she'd probably want to know he's alright.
Tim: Let's just get inside for now.
Bruce: OK.

(Tim, Kira and Bruce go inside Hayley's. The place is empty, save for Hayley.)

Bruce: I guess I'd better call Devin.

(Bruce takes out his cell phone. Bruce dials Devin's number. It rings and rings, not even going to voice mail.)

Bruce: This is odd. No answer, and no voice mail.
Tim: That's probably not good.
Bruce: I know. Cass told me he always has his voice mail on, in case she needs something. Someone must have disabled it, or his phone.
Kira: If his phone was broken, it would probably have said the number is no longer in service.
Bruce: Yeah, you're right. Someone must have disabled his voice mail.
Tim: But why would someone do that? It would just cause more suspicion.
Bruce: Unless Devin did it himself, as a way to let someone know he was in trouble. Hayley, can you track Devin's cell phone?
Hayley: Can Conner score a hat trick? Can Trent draw?
Bruce: I'll take that as a yes.
Tim: So now you're worried?
Bruce: I guess.

(Kira turns on the TV.)

Reporter (v/o): Hundreds of people have filled into Reefside Mall, on reports that Kylee Styles was seen in here.
Kira: That cant be true. Kylee sent me an email. She's in Europe right now.
Tim: Well, someone wants a lot of people at that mall for a reason.
Bruce: Probably Saurian. Get as many females in one place, easier for him to grab them. Right now, we need to find Cass, and Devin. Any luck tracking Devin's cell?
Hayley: I've almost got it triangulated. Another minute and I'll have it.
Tim: Better hope that Devin has another minute.
Hayley: I've got it. He's near Reefside High.
Bruce: Kira should go check on him. If she goes to the mall, she'll be right where Saurian would want her.
Tim: Well, Kira's not going alone.
Bruce: Good thinking. You two go find Devin, I'll go to the mall. I can call in back-up if I need it.
Tim: Hayley, do you have an exact location at the school? It's not exactly a small area.
Hayley: Yeah. The soccer field.
Bruce: He must have been looking for Conner.
Tim: Or someone else was. We just better hope that when we get there, we don't just run into Devin's cell, and no Devin in sight.
Kira: I don’t want to think what Elsa would have done to him. Even if she isn’t as powerful as she used to be.
Tim: Yeah. But then again, she wouldn't have done it of her own free will. Hopefully defeating Saurian will help everyone involved. (pauses) Let's go.
Bruce: Call me once you find him. Hayley, if Dr O makes it here, have him join me at the mall.
Hayley: Be careful, all three of you.
Tim: Hopefully we'll be fine.
Kira: If only we still had our DinoGems, we'd be more than fine.
Tim: I know, but we thought all of the threats were gone.
Bruce: I wish I had been cloned with Brian's special power. Some weapons would be helpful right now. Not that I would need them if I went Mega, but I don’t want to hurt anyone but Saurian.

(Tim says nothing. Instead, he and Kira leave, to head for Reefside High. Bruce also leaves, heading for the mall. After a bit, which they fast forwarded the reality, Tim and Kira arrive at Reefside High. They're heading for the soccer field.)

Kira: I didn’t think we'd be back here until graduation.
Tim: That's a good point.. Why would Devin think Conner would be at the soccer field?
Kira: He knows how much Conner loves soccer. And even though it's on the school grounds, it's open to the public outside of school hours.
Tim: Yeah, but this isn't the only soccer field in town.
Kira: So it could be a trap?
Tim: I don't know, but I hope not.

(Tim and Kira are almost at the soccer field.)

Kira: The field is wide open. The only place to hide is under the bleachers.
Tim: Also a good place to hide.. well, you know.
Kira: Let's not think that.
Tim: We won't be able to not think that if we don't see him somewhere on the field itself.
Kira: Yeah.

(Tim and Kira finally arrive at the soccer field.)

Kira: Well, he's not on the field. We should try to find his phone, and look near there.
Tim: You check on top of the bleachers.. I'll look under them.
Kira: Be careful.

(Kira kisses Tim. Tim kisses her back.)

Tim: You too.

(Kira starts checking the bleachers, one row at a time. Tim heads for a set of bleachers, and looks underneath them. There's a moaning coming from the far end of the underside. Tim decides not to call for Kira yet, and head for the moaning. The closer Tim gets, the more clearly he can hear the moaning. It's definitely moans of pain.)

Tim: Hello? (pauses) Devin? Is that you?

(Tim tries to get closer. Devin is lying there, barely moving, shoved under the lowest part of the bleachers, where Time would have to crawl on his belly to reach him.)

Tim: Devin, just hold on. (yells) Kira!
Kira (v/o): Did you find him?
Tim: (yells) Yeah! He's stuck under the bleachers. His leg is broken.
Kira (v/o): I'm on my way, I'm still checking the first row. You're lucky I wasn’t up higher.
Tim: Devin, do you have your phone on you?
Devin (v/o): No. It must have fallen out of my pocket. I was on my way to Cassidy's, after getting what she needed from the mall, when someone attacked me from behind. I blacked out and woke up here.
Tim: (thinking) Okay, Devin is here but doesn't have his phone.. This.. could still be a trap.. (out loud, yelling) Kira, get here quick!
Kira (v/o): Uh, that might be a problem. Saurian's on the other side of the field.
Tim: (yells) Run, Kira! Don't let him get near you!

(Tim extends a hand towards Devin.)

Tim: Devin, grab my hand.

(Devin extends his hand towards Tim, as Kira's footsteps can be heard overhead. Tim stretches, and grabs Devin's hand.)

Tim: This might hurt a little, but try to ignore the pain. I'm going to try pulling you out. Use whatever strength you have to pull yourself while I do. Hopefully it doesn't make your leg worse.
Devin (v/o): OK. One other thing, while I was laying here, I heard this weird voice, saying he was going to enjoy making Cassidy his first mate. Cass isn’t big on boats.
Tim: I don't think that's what it meant. (pauses) Ready? On three, pull.
Devin (v/o): OK. My good leg and free hand are ready.
Tim: Alright. One. (pauses) Two. (pauses again) Three!

(Tim pulls. Devin helps Tim pull himself out, screaming in agony. After a few moments, Tim is able to successfully get Devin out. Devin pulls himself up, holding on to the underside of the bleachers for support.)

Devin: Thanks, Tim. I guess we need to call an ambulance for me.
Tim: That's going to have to wait. I'll be back in a minute.

(Tim heads out of the underside bleachers, to see if Kira or Saurian is still there. Saurian is still there, and unfortunately, he's grabbed Kira.)

Tim: Kira!
Saurian: She is mine, now. And soon, I will have plenty more. Your former comrades will be gathering them from the mall. Any males who happen to show up, well, it wont be pleasant.
Tim: You're not going to get away with this.
Saurian: And who will stop me? Certainly not you powerless Rangers. I'll dispatch you as easily as I did Anton.
Tim: We're not the only Rangers on this planet.
Saurian: Yes. After you fled, I "convinced" Dr Oliver to show me his diary. I am prepared for any of them.
Tim: Wait.. You have Dr. O under your control too?
Saurian: Not for much longer. He's on his way to Reefside Bluff, to go for a dive.
Tim: And I guess I'm going to be next.
Saurian: Oh, no. You will serve me, just as your two friends do. I need fit generals for my eventual army.
Tim: Then why are you getting rid of Dr. O? Sounds to me like he's more valuable alive.
Saurian: Actually, with his connections to past Ranger teams, he's far too dangerous.
Tim: I would think because of those connections, he'd be valuable. Just because you've seen his diary doesn’t mean you know everything about those teams, right?
Saurian: And what else is there to know? Aside from the number of potential mates there are on them.
Tim: Well, you won't know anything like that without Dr. O. He has personally met each team before.
Saurian: In that case, I need to recall him.

(Saurian starts concentrating, sending a message to Tommy, telepathically.)

Tim: Look, if you're going to turn me into one of your slaves, can you give me a few minutes? For one thing, Devin needs an ambulance, and I would like to have some time with Kira before I lost my free thought.
Saurian: You have five minutes. I will give you some time alone. But if you are not here when I return, your parents will suffer.
Tim: We're not going anywhere.
Saurian: You had better not.

(Saurian vanishes into an InvisaPortal. Tim looks at Kira for a few seconds, before he takes his cell phone out. Across town, Bruce has arrived at the mall. There's a large crowd in the center court, expecting to see Kylee. Bruce looks around, for any sign of trouble.)

Bruce (thinking): No sign of Saurian. Maybe Hayley can hack into the mall security cameras and check for trouble.

(Bruce calls Hayley, only to get a busy signal. Back at the soccer field at Reefside High, Tim has called Hayley. However, he's acting like he's talking to someone else.)

Tim: Hello, there's been an accident here at Reefside High. A friend is hurt, under one of the bleachers.
Hayley (v/o): I take it you've found Devin. I'll make sure an ambulance is sent there.
Tim: Yeah, that's right.
Hayley (v/o): And since you're talking in code, I suspect someone’s nearby.
Tim: Also, if you don't mind when you pick up my friend, to tell him to let my other friend know what happened.
Hayley (v/o): I'll let Bruce know. I picked up some In visa-Portal activity, was that Saurian?
Tim: Thanks. I'll be sure to let my friend know that help is on the way before I go.
Hayley (v/o): Just be careful, Tim. Don’t let him control you like he did Conner and Ethan.

(Tim says nothing. He hangs up.)

Tim: (thinking) Sorry, Hayley.. I don't seem to have a choice..

(Tim heads under the bleacher real quick to tell Devin about the ambulance coming. Devin is still holding onto the bleachers for support. He wanted to move out from under them, but the pain is too great.)

Tim: Devin, the ambulance should be on the way. But you should stay here until they get here.

(Tim gets ready to leave.)

Devin: Don’t worry. It hurts too much to try to move. Are you OK? You sound like something's wrong.
Tim: There is something wrong. But there's nothing that can be done about it right now. When you get to the hospital, call Hayley. Tell her what you said to me about Cassidy. Also, tell her that Dr. Oliver isn't in control anymore. She'll know what you mean.
Devin: OK.

(Tim heads back out, going over to Kira. Kira just stands there, waiting for Saurian to return.)

Tim: Kira.. I know Saurian likely has you in control right now, but I hope you can say something to me.. I know you remember when Fossilador controlled you. If you can fight this, even for a short while.. (pauses) I just want to see my Kira before Saurian comes back..

(Kira blinks slightly.)

Kira: Tim? What happened?
Tim: Kira? Saurian happened. He grabbed you. He gave me a few minutes alone with you before he comes back. He's planning on making me one of his soldiers, like Conner and Ethan.
Tim: Kira.. we can't..
Kira: Why?
Tim: He's threatened to go after my family if we're not here when he gets back.
Kira: And if he killed Dr Mercer, he'd have no problem doing the same to your parents. Or mine. Or the band.
Tim: Yeah. He's also got Dr. O under his control. He was planning on killing him, making him jump to his death at the Reefside Bluffs, but I kind of talked him into not doing it.
Kira: At least you gave Dr O a chance. Tim, if this is the last time we talk to each other, without being his mind controlled slaves, I want you to know, I love you.
Tim: I love you too.

(Tim leans in to kiss Kira. Saurian returns.)

Saurian: No contact with my property.
Kira: I'm not your property.
Saurian: You've freed yourself of my control?
Tim: She freed herself, with my help. You were giving me five minutes to be alone with her. Having her not respond to me wasn't what I had in mind.
Saurian: Then I'll just have to take control of her again. But if you can help her break free, you must be kept away from her. Which is why I'll send you to Angel Grove.
Tim: I helped her break free with my words, and my love for her. Considering you destroy our emotions when you take control of us, I doubt that would be happening.
Saurian: I don’t want to take any risks.
Kira: Wait, leave Tim free, and I'll serve you of my own free will.
Tim: He's not going to do that, Kira.. If he leaves me free, it would be when I'm dead..
Saurian: He's right. Unless, you know how your friend was able to resist my control. Then, you may stay free, while she joins my other future mates.
Tim: I have no idea. Although, he was a Mega Minutiaeian during the time he was near you, so that might've had something to do with it. But I'm only guessing. You might not be able to control him at all.
Saurian: Minutiaeian?
Tim: That's going to be a longer story.
Saurian: You will have plenty of time, after you help your friends with their mission at the mall.

(Saurian looks Kira in the eyes, bringing her back under his control.)


Tim: Well, either way, we should probably leave this area. I mean, you did allow me to call an ambulance for a friend. That should be here any minute, and I'm sure you don't want to reveal yourself to the public yet.
Saurian: Follow me through the InvisaPortal.

(Saurian and Kira walk into the InvisaPortal. Tim takes a breath before he walks through. Tim takes a breath before he walks through. The portal leads to Mercer's home. Cassidy is tied to a nearby chair. Elsa stands nearby. Tim looks around for a brief moment.)

Cassidy: Tim? Kira?
Elsa: Quiet,
Tim: (to Saurian) So you take Cassidy, but haven't got her under your control yet? Why? Is it because she's pregnant?
Cassidy: I'm what?
Saurian: Yes, apparently, you carry the child of a monster the Rangers fought. (to Tim) Oh, she'll be controlled, eventually, after I use her as bait for the former Silver Ranger.
Tim: So, the text that was sending help.. That was actually from you, wasn't it? Using her phone.
Saurian: No. My hands are too large to use those tiny devices. Elsa sent it.
Tim: Same difference, considering you're controlling her.
Cassidy: In that case, you owe me $1 for that text message. My parents wont pay for an unlimited message plan.
Elsa: I said Quiet.
Tim: I guess you let me come here so I can continue my story about Minutiaeians. And then because I've seen to much, you likely won't be letting me go after this.
Saurian: Precisely.
Tim: I don't know all of the details, but I can tell you what I know from Bruce..
Saurian: Go on.

(Tim starts to explain what a Minutiaeian is, but he purposely leaves out some bits that he knows, but Saurian likely won't notice.)

Cassidy: Wait, Bruce is an alien?
Saurian: So, extra-terrestrials living on Earth. If I cannot control them, they will watch what I do to their loved ones, before I destroy them. Tim: Before you decide to do anything to me, you might want to know that I didn't give you all of the information.
Saurian: And what do you want in return for this information?
Tim: Oh come on, you think I'm going to fall for that? I can tell you're not one to really bargain. So, I'm not telling you the rest of what I know. Of course, you could control me and try to get it that way.. if I even have the information in my head in the first place.
Saurian: Would you rather watch your parents suffer a most painful demise/ Or witness my mating with your precious Yellow Ranger?
Tim: You're going to do the second one already. And threatening my family a second time? Really? I thought you were Mesogog's son. Mesogog was a lot better at this.
Saurian: Yes, but all his technology was destroyed with his island. And I lack certain psionic abilities he had. The cost I pay for mind control.
Tim: Fine. You want to know what I'm not telling you? Bruce isn't an alien. At least not in the normal sense.
Saurian: Meaning?
Tim: He's a clone. And if you kill him, his family can just make another like him, with the same memories.
Saurian: Fascinating. If they would clone me, this world would fall all the sooner.

(An InvisaPortal opens, Conner and Ethan return, empty handed.)

Saurian: What happened?
Conner: Someone pulled a fire alarm. All the females fled before we could use the sleep gas you gave us.
Tim: (thinking) Must've been Bruce. Good idea.
Saurian: It doesn’t matter. I will soon have an army. An army of me.
Tim: I wouldn't be so sure about that.
Saurian: Ah, but thanks to your information, these Minutiaeians will clone me, or they will be ripped apart, limb from limb.
Tim: And then you won't get what you want, since they're the only ones that can use the technology.
Saurian: I'll save one for last.

(Meanwhile, Bruce has returned to Hayley's.)

Bruce: Nice job, hacking the sound system to fake a fire alarm. No sense bringing the fire department in.
Hayley: It was a piece of cake. I've managed to track Tim's cell phone. He's at the Mercer estate.
Bruce: That must be Saurian's base of operations. I'm going to need help to stop him.
Hayley: Your family?
Bruce: One member of the family.

(The phone rings.)

Hayley: Hayley's Cyberspace.
Devin: (v/o) Uh, Hayley, hi. This is Devin. Tim told me to call when I got to the hospital.
Hayley (to Bruce): It's Devin.

(Bruce takes the phone.)

Bruce: Devin, it's Bruce. What happened to Tim and Kira?
Devin (v/o): I don't know. Tim just told me to call to say that I heard a voice say that he was going to enjoy making Cassidy his first mate.
Bruce: Well, thanks to Hayley, we know where he is.
Devin: (v/o) That's not all. Tim told me to tell Hayley something.
Bruce: I can tell her.
Devin: (v/o) Uh, alright. He said that Dr. Oliver isn't in control.
Bruce: I know what he meant. Alright, just focus on recovering. I'll get everyone out safely. Especially Cassidy.
Devin: (v/o) Right.. Oh, and Bruce? Just to let you know.. Cassidy talked about you a lot during the prom. She and I.. we didn't really have as much in common anymore than what we had before. I mean, I think we'll always be best friends, but nothing else will really come from us.
Bruce: That gives me even more inspiration to rescue her. Thanks, Dev.
Devin: (v/o) No problem.
Bruce: I'll bring Cass to see you after I rescue her. Now, I need to call in some help.
Devin: (v/o) Right. I'll let you go then.

(Bruce hangs up.)

Bruce: Saurian's got control of Dr O.
Hayley: So he's got three Rangers, possibly four or five.
Bruce: I know. Luckily, I paid attention when we were studying reptiles. I know how to defeat him.

(Back at the Mercer estate...)

Saurian: Are you ready to join your friends, former Green Ranger?
Tim: Actually, I think it's time that we finish this.

(Tim pulls out his cell phone, showing that he never hung it up earlier. Hayley used it to track him.)

Saurian: It doesn’t matter who knows our location. They cannot stop me.

(Saurian takes Tim's phone and crushes it.)

Tim: I'm sure they already know where we are. And it doesn't matter if you take control of me, or kill me. Bruce will stop you.
Saurian: He will never fight his friends. Will he?
Conner: No, he wouldn’t.
Tim: Oh, I wouldn't be so sure about that. I'm sure he would, if he has to.
Conner: He did punch me earlier today.
Saurian: No matter. There is one here he would never hurt.

(Saurian looks at Cassidy and smiles. Half an hour passes. Saurian has not taken control of Cassidy or Tim.)

Saurian: Your friend is obviously smarter than I thought. He isn’t coming to save you.
Tim: Oh, he'll be here. He's just not going to rush in here without a plan.
Voice: You're right, Tim.

(Bruce appears in a doorway.)

Cassidy: Bruce!
Saurian: You are a fool to come here alone.
Bruce: Who says I'm alone?

(The room starts to get cold. Tim stands there, getting ready to move.)

Saurian: Why do I feel so weak?
Bruce: Simple reptile biology. You're a cold blooded creature, so you become dormant in the cold/ So, I called a friend of mine in Blue Bay Harbor.

(Tim moves to help Cassidy.)

Cassidy: Thanks, Tim.

(Brad steps into view.)

Brad: How cold do you want him?
Bruce: On ice, for a long time.

(Tim helps Cassidy over to Bruce.)

Tim: Good thing I decided to keep my cell phone on for Hayley to track it.
Bruce: Definitely. She had it located by the time I got back from the mall.

(As Saurian gets weaker, his control over the others starts to weaken.)

Kira: Wh.. where am I?

(Tim heads over to the others.)

Tim: Kira? Conner? Ethan? You guys alright?
Ethan: I feel like my hyper cooled processor unit is malfunctioning.
Conner: Let me guess, it's a computer thing.
Ethan: Yeah.
Tim: Yeah, I'd say you're alright.
Bruce: And we're all in better shape than Devin.
Cassidy: What's wrong with him?
Bruce; A broken leg. It will heal. I'll take you to him after we deal with tall and scaly.

(Tim grabs Kira's hand, as he leads her over to where Bruce and Cassidy is. Conner and Ethan follow.)

Bruce: OK, Brad. He's weak enough. You can head back to Blue Bay Harbor.
Brad: Great. Kapri told me not to be too long.

(Brad Ninja Streaks out of there.)

Conner: So, how do we make sure Saurian doesn’t try this again when he warms up?
Bruce: By making sure he doesn’t warm up.

(Bruce pulls out a communicator, given to him by Bart)

Bruce: DECA, there's a large reptilian creature, about 3 feet north of me. Send it to the Antarctic.
DECA (v/o): Acknowledged.

(Saurian vanishes.)

Cassidy: Bruce, I'm sorry I went to the prom with Devin.
Bruce: It's OK, Cass.

(Bruce and Cassidy kiss passionately,)

Kira: I think they've got the right idea.

(Tim kisses Kira.)

Ethan: I wish Angela was here.
Conner: I wish Krista hadn’t dumped me.
Bruce: I'll help you get her back, bro.

(Several months pass. Bruce and Cassidy have married, and now, up on the Megaship, she is in labor.)

Cassidy: I don’t see why we had to come up here?
Bruce: We don’t know what kind of child this will be. Human. monster, or something else. It's safer up here, and easier to deal with it, if needed.

(Down on Earth, the others are gathered at Hayley's, waiting for the news. True to his word, Bruce helloed Conner win back Krista.)

Ethan: How long has it been?
Conner: About an hour.
Devin: My sister was in labor for two. This is nothing.

(Tim and Kira start playing a song, when Conner's cell phone rings.)

Conner: It's Bruce. Yeah bro?
Bruce (v/o): It's a boy, and it's completely human.
Conner: I guess that's good news.
Bruce (v/o): Yeah. Bart is checking him for any anomalies. Cass wants us to raise him. I'm not going to argue with her.

(The alternate reality ends.)

Bruce: I hope we have a son someday.
Cassidy: We’ll try in a few more years. Maybe for our tenth anniversary.
Bruce: Great. Only four more years.
